Are you aware that roughly 50-percent of marriages/relationships end in divorce? A staggering statistic, to be sure!
Divorce is arguably one of the most difficult of all life’s major transitions. Whether you are thinking about or preparing for divorce; in the middle of one; or trying to move on from one; TheHourGLASS podcast is for you!
Dr. Gretchen Kubacky, known as one of the most seasoned experts in dealing with grief, and founder of PCOS Wellness in Los Angeles, spoke openly and methodically about dealing with grief as she compared the process with that of the same 5-step process one goes through, not only with the death of a loved one, but the death of a marriage or romantic partnership as well. Author of The PCOs Mood Cure: Your Guide to Ending the Emotional Roller Coaster, and, Moving Through Grief: Proven Techniques for Finding Your Way After Any Loss, she gave Glass' viewers a step-by-step journey through the 5 steps and ways in which to handle each step with a mindful soul-search and a good deal of self-compassion. When selecting our audience favorites, Dr. Kubacky's ratings were off the chart! There was no need to have her voted on as a come-back guest, her episode was a clear must-do re-run! Dr. Kubacky was also the very first guest to appear on TheHourGLASS and helped David launch Season 1, a series that ran the gambit of breakup topics from grief to gratitude.

Host David Glass – so intrigued with the subject of gaslighting—Glass took on several experts quite familiar with gaslighting–one of whom was Dr. Mark Goulston. Sadly, Dr. Goulston passed away late December of last year, but his many writings and interviews where he shared his wisdom and insight carry on. And, we’re grateful. Our audience ranked Dr. Goulston’s interview as one of their favorites. What was most remarkable is that Dr. Goulston not only shared advice on how to handle a “gaslighter,” but he told a personal story of his own experience of how he avoided falling victim of one himself.
Expert Dr. Mark Goulston was a former UCLA professor of psychiatry, FBI and police hostage negotiation trainer, nine-time author and a podcast host himself (My Wake Up Call”) who offered our audience members a new perspective on the gaslighting type and brought clarity to the dynamic between a gaslighter and its victim. He also talked about the George Kukor film, “Gaslight,” and asked viewers to watch it for a clearer understanding of the concept. Goulston is sorely missed, but Host Glass is grateful for the insight he shared on the show.

Divorce is arguably one of the most difficult of all life’s major transitions. Whether you are thinking about or preparing for divorce; in the middle of one; or trying to move on from one; TheHourGLASS podcast is for you!
I'm your host, David Glass. In addition to being a celebrity divorce attorney I'm also a Certified Family Law Specialist, former Psychologist and Author and this show is based on my book, Moving On: Redesigning Your Emotional, Financial and Social Life After Divorce.
I've been a regular contributor on “Good Morning America”, “Associated Press TV”, “CNN” and other major networks and my hope is to offer insightful commentary, impressive guests, and access to a variety of helpful resources with the podcast.
