The Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Brain Injury Special Interest Group (BISIG) is a component of the American Physical Therapy Association. The BISIG is comprised of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students in physical therapy programs that have an interest in who have a common interest in the promotion of health, wellness, optimal function, and quality of life for individuals with acquired brain injuries.
In this episode, the ANPT Brain Injury SIG speaks with Estelle Gallo about the locomotor CPG and how it can be utilized in clinical practice particularly in patients with brain injury. Estelle is a clinical specialist at Rusk Rehabilitation NYU Langone Health and serves on the Knowledge Translation Task Force for the locomotor CPG.
