While God is always referred to as "Father" and His pronouns are always masculine, the Scriptures do reveal that God our Father has motherly instincts, for which we are all grateful.
Endurance is something that every child of God needs to work on in their life. It is wonderful to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, but even better to maintain a consistent, faithful walk with Him until the day you die.
Although the mission was successful, Jonah's heart was angry. He was angry at God for His mercy, grace, kindness, patience, and forgiveness. The very things that Jonah loved about God in his life; he despised in the lives of the Ninevites.
After God rescued Jonah from the fish, Jonah set off to preach God's message to the Ninevites.
Jesus died and left you in His will. We inherit what He inherits from His Father. What a tremendous blessing to be the child of God. We must place our faith in Him alone as the sole source of our salvation.

God wants us to live in victory over our emotions. God can help us to get a grip on our heart and mind.
