Elnaz shared that she and other youth volunteers, “wrote poetry and wrote songs that had to deal with social issues and using youth voices to amplify the issues around us and how youth can use not only their unique experiences, but their use their voices as youth to talk about these sorts of issues.”

"Community Conversations for Change was offered. We met twice a week for the month of July and we basically just talked for hours and hours about educating ourselves, learning, and just pure truthful discussion, that we much needed, about our current racial issues rising in our country. " -Morgan
“This program is about planting seeds in the desert which will grow into an extraordinary forest. These seeds will bring life to an environment that was once dry. This forest will be the symbol from what was to what is. We are the seeds from various ethnicities, genders, and communities standing against racism while being the best we can be.” EliAnna

"We were helping build benches. I had never built a bench beforehand so at the very beginning I was just sitting there thinking- there's no way I am going to be able to do it! I thought at most I would be able help by watching and giving moral support like "Woo, let's go team!", but in the end I was able to come out through the group and actually just start going through benches and benches!" -Max
