Troy and Ted from BBSI, a local business part of the South Jordan Chamber, discussed the benefits of partnering with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). Troy has been with BBSI for four years and previously was a client for 13 years. He grew his small business from 8 employees to 2150 at its peak with the help of BBSI. Ted joined BBSI after spending 8-25 years in the payroll industry.

He was impressed by their breadth of services and culture and has seen amazing results from current clients and case studies. Research from the National Association for PEOs shows businesses with a PEO are 2150-2275% less likely to go out of business, have 25-26 to 270-2100% higher return revenue, 5563-2556% higher employee retention, and 27500-22023% higher return on investments.

Administrative Services Organizations (ASOs) are similar to PEOs but differ in terms of tax structure and how employees are paid. With BBSI clients get dedicated payroll analysts, HR consultants, risk managers, workers comp services, health plan options, and more. Ted is also a strategic business partner for Crumble which is the fifth largest company in the nation; 20 accounts have been brought on in recent months with an expected 100+ within 4-6 months.

Troy gave examples of clients he has seen grow significantly due to his help renegotiating terms with suppliers so they do not run out of money as well as focusing on sales and production for better results. Troye and Tad from the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce discussed their services and how they can help businesses. BBSI is one of the largest and most reputable PEOs in Utah, with five locations throughout the state.

They offer educational events, such as a supervisors academy for 2023, as well as lunch and learn sessions throughout the community. They encourage businesses to reach out to them even if they are not clients, as they have many events that can be beneficial. People can contact them by calling Tad at 801-556-7500 or emailing either Tad at tad.griffin@bbsi.com or Troye at troye.smithson@bbsi.com for technical questions.

Their message is that no matter how hard things may seem in business, it will get better with help from a reliable partner like BBSI.

Stephen is a chiropractor and the owner of Freedom Integrated Medicine in South Jordan, Utah. He comes from a family of 11 kids and his father served in the military for 25 years. Stephen was born in Washington DC but moved around with his family before settling in Houston for high school. He then attended Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, and fell in love with the area.

Stephen obtained his degree in exercise science at BYU and then went on to get his chiropractic degree from Dallas. At Freedom Integrated Medicine, Stephen provides drug-free and surgery-free services including joint injections, regenerative medicine, chiropractic care, physical therapy, and non-surgical decompression. He specializes in degenerative knee pain and neuropathy pains such as numbness or tingling.

To better serve patients with these conditions he converted the clinic to an integrated medical clinic with a nurse practitioner who specializes in regenerative medicine, advanced joint injections, and hormone therapy. The goal of regenerative medicine is to fix what's causing pain rather than just take a pill to make it go away. This podcast conversation discusses the risks associated with cortisone shots, pain pills, and other forms of treatment for degenerative joint pain.

The speaker then introduces regenerative medicine as an alternative form of treatment, specifically platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. PRP is taken from the patient's own blood and can be used to stimulate healing in areas that are not responding well to traditional treatments. The speaker also mentions that their practice helps with headaches, neck pain, back pain, bulging discs, sciatica, pinched nerves, and degenerative joints.

Lastly, they express how impressed they have been with their patients in South Jordan who come in cheerful and happy despite being in pain. They emphasize how the body knows how to heal when given the right environment. This podcast conversation discussed the importance of stimulating the body to heal itself, rather than controlling and manipulating it.

The hosts discussed how Daybreak offers trails and other activities for people to get extra exercise, especially those who travel far to visit them. They also offered a $49 consultation, exam, x-ray, and treatment recommendations for anyone suffering from headaches, back pain, neck pain, degenerative knees, and tingling, or numbness in their feet.

The hosts concluded by emphasizing that the body can heal itself and encouraged listeners not to give up on their bodies but instead find ways to stimulate the healing process. This podcast conversation was between the South Jordan Chamber and a guest speaker. The guest speaker discussed the importance of not giving up on your body no matter how old you are. They encouraged listeners to continue doing the things they love, regardless of age.
