Ashwin walks us through his song "Joker & Murray". A lighthearted sounding indie pop song that's a follow up to his first single in this genre "Lalah". It's a reference to the relationship Joker has with Murray in the movie Joker. He seems to really look up to him and feels that he "completes" him but when he actually meets him he learns that he's not all that amazing (to him at least) so this song is about putting someone on a pedestal but as the relationship goes on you realize it's not perfect and it's probably destined to fail.

Ashwin walks us through the process of creating his indie rock single, "Lalah". The style of this song draws inspiration from multiple artists like Dayglow, Steve Lacy and Jehlani Aryeh who really excel in keeping that DIY feel in their music especially with the vocal processing. A pretty cheesy and cute anime concept as well. Enjoy.
