Couch Cushions Podcast is proudly made by yours truly, Maria and Myzsa. We are two friends who have a shared love of telling stories and having real talk. Each episode will be different and fun, we purposely are not confining ourselves to one category or genre so that we have the freedom to talk about a wide variety of things, the conversations will be super chill and you’ll feel like you’re sitting next to us on a couch! This episode’s theme we thought of was kind of spur of the moment. We went out to eat earlier this week and were so inspired by the food we ate, which says a lot about that restaurant that we’re making a whole episode because of one experience! But that’s food, it has a powerful impact/effect on us! We hope you’ll enjoy this episode and maybe even find a few new favorite restaurants to try out :)
Joining us today all the way from Texas is Pedro and Alex! These two are former podcasters from the show Topics and Tacos and we thought it would be fitting that half way through the season we’d do our first collaboration! As you can tell by the title, we’re discussing texting, and specifically texting etiquette. Listen in to the varying opinions of what is proper or improper when it comes to texting and to answer the big question, is it okay to leave someone on read??
You get it?? It’s a play on words because we’re in our 20s, we’re in Rochester, we’re rockin’ it, and we’re living in the 20s! It just makes sense!! Today’s episode is really, really exciting! Catch Flights is the first episode of a series we’re starting about traveling! We both love to travel in and out of the US and we have so many stories and experiences about our travels we knew we couldn’t fit it into just one episode. Each season we’ll discuss where we’ve been in our travels and things we’ve learned while doing so. This episode will be an introduction to the series and an we will discuss some of our favorite and least favorite experiences and good traveling tips. So listen in to Catch Flights pt 1!
Living in western New York we are no stranger to the cold. With the season of winter there’s much joy and happiness we feel. The snow is both lovely to watch and fun to play in! However, with that there are also a lot of cloudy and gloomy days. Listen in on how we deal with the season change and make it through winter.
As you can tell from the title we will be discussing dancing for our very first episode of our podcast!
