Homecoming is considered one of the largest events during the school year, which means there is a large amount of planning and effort that goes into making it happen. SGA President Brandon Horne and Ms. Nala Anderson of the Jaguar Activity Board took time to give insight on what it takes to plan behind the scenes. They also answered questions students had regarding the homecoming process. Laila and Austin shared what they enjoyed during homecoming week!
Tailgating, concerts, and comedy shows fill the bluff this homecoming season! Laila, Erin, Hayleigh, and Darrien discuss their favorite homecoming events and what they look forward to seeing this year. Cast member "Pancake" participates in the homecoming "hot seat game". Social media has become a full time job for many people via Instagram, Tik-Tok, Facebook etc.
In this episode, Laila and Taylor sat down with social media influencer, college student, and business owner Karah Rainwater. She gave the audience advice about how to keep from burning out on social media, how to balance a social media career and college, and lastly advice on how to get started.
Before spring break begins, we must get through midterms. It is known that test anxiety and stress are common during this time. DeBrandin sits down with Dr. Christy Garrison and graduate school student Leilonni Robinson to get a first person perspective on the graduate school experience for current Jags. They also shared FAQ's for undergrads looking to expand their academic resumes in the future.
