Recently Disney/Pixar release a new movie called Turning Red. It's the coming of age story about a 13 year old Chinese Canadian who wakes up one day to discover that she has become a red panda!
It's a funny movie that deals with serious issues, but has received some very negative feedback - particularly amongst conservative Christians. As Christians ourselves, we wanted to weigh in on the concerns and offer you what we believe is a reasonable response. Does it deserve the outrage it has received or not? Therefore this episode is fully committed to all things Turning Red.

On this episode we are talking about being on the same page with your partner. This needs to start BEFORE you get married. Talking about the big things before you jump into "till death do us part" is incredibly important because if you don't, you may hit unnecessary bumps along the way. Things like faith, future goals, and whether you want kids or not are conversations you need to have before you commit. Then, once you DO commit, how do you stay on the same page through all the ups and downs of marriage and parenting. There is something in here for everyone, so we hope you'll check it out!

The last 2 years have been overwhelming to say the least. Throw on top of that the brutal and unprovoked attacks on Ukraine and it can feel like the world is crumbling. When we sat down to record our podcast this week, we just couldn't do it. It felt frivolous in light of recent events. Instead we decided to have a vulnerable and candid discussion about how all of this is affecting us, and what we can do to pull ourselves up when the world seems too heavy.
If you need to talk about all of these, please reach out. You can find us on the web and on social media. We would love to chat.
