The Self Care Sessions podcast is devoted to sharing self care strategies that help you live a lifestyle you love. When you’re taking great care of yourself first, it allows you to live the life you truly desire, instead of getting overwhelmed and exhausted, and losing yourself in the chaos, to-do list, and negative influences. Self care encourages growth into the best version of yourself. So, grab a cup of coffee, or your favorite soul soothing beverage and enjoy!
We're taking a little summer break to recharge and really focus on that self care we talk so much about ;) While the podcast is on a little pause, I hope you enjoy taking time to pause and unplug during your summertime fun too!

I’ve had a few conversations recently in which it seems that women feel like their options are very limited when it comes to solutions for issues relating to the menstrual cycle. It seems that 'the pill' is suggested more often than not, and there's not much else offered up as options. I'm not discounting their use across the board, sometimes hormone prescriptions are necessary, but as a blanket approach to this issue, I think we can do better. It's probably no surprise that I believe there to be several natural ways to approach hormone dysfunction and menstrual woes. Enjoy the episode!

Mmm, that first golden sip of the day really touches your soul, doesn't it? If you're as serious about your coffee ritual as I am, then you know what I'm talking about. The thing is though, coffee can either be a helpful part of your day, or it can really hinder your health, depending on how you use it and whether you're a chronically stressed person to begin with. Regardless, if you're like 90% of the population that relies on caffeine as a regular part of your day, I think you'll find this conversation interesting!

As I was sitting down to write out this episode, my husband texted me with this quote from Kobe Bryant: “The biggest mistake we make in our life is thinking we have time.” Wow...kinda gives you chills, right? It's so true though, and puts things into perspective. Time is precious, spend it wisely - connecting with loved ones, connecting with yourself and what's really important to you, and doing things that are important to you and call to your heart. The only moment we know we have for sure, is right now.
