This is the sign you have been looking for. Sometimes things do not go as planned, sometimes the prophecies we believe are proven wrong with time. But, we have a God who ordains all things that come to pass, A God who foresees all.
A poem I wrote when I was at my lowest, I sat in a park and watched the birds fly by wondering how they viewed God.
This is not a perfect poem but it was definitely written when I was desperately trying to get closer to Jesus.
Most times I pray that God just stops me sinning, I do not want flesh no more , I just am tired of constantly failing Him. But I know HIs mercy and Grace , it never runs dry.
Wind, moving through my feathers,
My eyes,
Looking into the sharpness of the sun
Without wavering,
My wings stretching out and touching the clouds
I can dive down and gravity does not hold me down,
I see movement between blades of grass miles away..
Yet they do not believe I have a creator,
They think we are all just one coincidence,
One big explosion of nothingness …
The trees, they speak..
Of the strength of God,
For they die for a while but they rise up when they see the Sun
The fish, they tell me,
“ I can breathe underwater, yet I live”
The worms tell me:
“For this very purpose I live, to feed you,
For that is the will of our Creator”
But why,
Why does man do things
That the Creator did not intend for them
Why be anything else but peace,
Why be anything else but loved…
I am a bird, yet I know my very purpose…
I serve the most high by doing what I was meant to do,
I fly, I gather, I multiply and I hunt for His splendor.

"Christian" is a word thrown around so easily, but what does it mean to truly be a Chrisitan.
