There is a bridal revival reality coming upon this generation centred upon Jesus Christ and His return. This revival has attributes of the previous era's revival messages of salvation, miracles and deliverance - yet it goes beyond just being a temporary revival. The bridal revival will teach us how to live in the tension between His first coming and His second coming, how a bride makes herself ready with her heart, constantly burning and longing for the return of her Bridegroom King. There is no place that she would not go or stay as she feels the urgency of the hour in His coming again.
In Psalm 150:6, we read “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” Praise is not just a song but a declaration of faith. It not only changes our perspective of our situation but it is a weapon against the enemy and a catalyst for revival. So whether you are in a season of joy or a valley of struggle, join us this week to lift up a praise and proclaim who He is!
Hebrews 5 has much to say about spiritual maturity, describing children who are in need of milk and not yet ready to digest solid food. A spiritual infant who lives on milk is not yet pierced by the revelation of righteousness. They are those whose spiritual senses cannot perceive heavenly matters. We need to stop cutting our teeth with milk and start moving on into spiritual maturity desiring the fine meats of revelations from the Word of God.

The oil of God is a copious anointing - it is abundant! When God pours, He doesn’t pour until just enough; He pours until it’s overflowing. The weekend services aren’t ’fuel stations’ where you get pumped and hope the oil lasts the week. That’s an insult to what Jesus died and paid the price for. He died so that you and I can be overflowing with the oil of His Spirit and influence our world!
The greatest invitation of the Lord will always be His table. It’s a place to behold, to dine and to commune with Him. For what holds our gaze, hold our hearts. The invitation to sit as His table in the presence of our enemies remains more as a test of our hearts. Psalm 23- The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Don’t let the enemy fight you out of your seat at the Lord’s table. Let’s learn to sit, and teach our children and our communities to sit in His Presence. The Lord’s table - His blood shed and His body broken is the highest price paid. We sit and feast at that table in the presence of our enemy as a reminder of His victory.

In Luke 7, when a sinful woman came uninvited to Simon the Pharisee’s house and wet Jesus’s feet with her tears, kissed and poured perfume on them, Simon questioned whether Jesus was a true prophet for allowing a sinner to touch Him. Perspectives are formed from the place we choose to look from. Simon the Pharisee reminds us that we can be looking at Jesus but as long as we are looking at Him through our own perspective rather than His, we would always have a distorted view of Jesus in our own lives and situations.
In the book 2 Timothy, the apostle Paul writes his last letter to his spiritual son before he is martyred. In Chapter 1 of verse 7, Paul writes about being bold and courageous through tough times, persecution and distress. He begins by saying that God did not give us a spirit of fear and timidity and he addresses fear as a spirit. When we understand that fear is a spirit, then we understand that fear can only be overcome through the Spirit of the Living God. We do not wrestle with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. In a time where the nations are raging, world economy is unstable and the morality of society is crumbling, fear looms over us seeking to devour our body, soul and spirit. However, the Lord has given us keys to overcome fear! We’re no longer slaves to fear!

From 1980 to 1996, Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh was part of Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry “Christ for all Nations” (CfaN). Heading up the intercession department, Suzette played a major role in the worldwide campaign preparations and the general ministry, later becoming Reinhard’s associate evangelist.On 27th January 2015, Suzette became the founder of the non-profit organisation ‘Cinta Papua’ in West Papua, Indonesia. This has expanded into two training centres called the ‘Love Papua Centre’. Here, thousands of people interdenominationally get inspired, trained and led into a deeper walk with God.An integral part of the ministry is healing, having been used strongly by the Lord for signs and wonders. As well as worldwide evangelistic campaigns, Suzette has a strong call from the Lord to concentrate on cities and local communities.As an author, her anointed teachings, seasoned with experience, have been an inspiration to thousands across the world.
How we position ourselves with the Lord will determine whether or not we receive His blessings. Because Mary positioned herself by sitting at the feet of Jesus, she began to draw from His heart. Because the woman with the issue of blood positioned herself in a posture of desperation, she drew power from Christ. The posture of our positioning is important and we need an enlarging of our capacity for more.
Revival is near and we can sense it. But the enemy is working extra hard to keep revival at bay. The Bible tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities of darkness in the spiritual realm. The powers of darkness are keeping the people of the land in slumber. But God has given us the keys to overcome them. It is when the Church comes together as one to build God an altar of worship and appropriate the power of the Cross through repentance that the enemy will lose his legal right and thus losing his grip over the people of the land.
In Romans 8, Paul describes the overcoming of the affliction, persecution and hardships the Israelites were experiencing in Rome as not so much dependent on the situation they were subjected to but on the “Who” that is greater. In a time where the church is being built upon the apostles and prophets, it is the revelation of Christ as the Chief Cornerstone that is going to usher in breakthroughs and raise up the Ekklesia to becoming more than conquerors.
Back in the days, people wore sandals and walked on unpaved and dusty roads. It was customary for a basin of water to be prepared by the host to wash the feet of the guests. It was a task carried out by the most menial of servants. Yet on the night before Jesus died, He did the unthinkable. He demonstrated the most radical act of humility. A master washing the feet of His disciples. There is something more to this account than just servanthood. Contained within this radical act of humility was the blueprint of salvation. Christ humbled Himself to become man, died on the cross and brought reconciliation between God and man through His blood.
n oil press, a place of pressing and crushing becomes the place anointing is birthed. Not giftings or platforms, but the invitation into sorrow and afflictions works out in us an eternal weight of Glory. To know Him in all His Glory is to know Him in His suffering.As we find a measure of Christ in the valley of death and utter “Not my will but Yours be done”, it becomes the most intimate exchange that is birthed and Christ is truly glorified.

The church that God is raising up in these last days is a church that is made up of laid down lovers of Christ. People with passionate and unwavering devotion to Christ that are willing to lay down their lives for Him. We cannot talk about revival unless there is a company of love slaves that are willing to pay the price to see Christ revealed to the world. The Bridegroom King is longing to be with His Bride and so we must be ready and prepare the way for His return!
One often overlooked aspect in today's world is singleness. Too many rush into relationships to fill perceived gaps, leading to more brokenness. Let's break free from these lies and see singleness as a valuable, purposeful gift from God. Whether single or married, true contentment and fulfillment come from a deeper relationship with Him.
When Jesus came and gave up His life on the cross as a ransom for the world, the redemptive power of Christ didn’t just stop at the remission of our sins but ultimately brought us back into the fullness of the Presence of God.
Join us this week as we explore the profound truth that God’s Presence is as intimate and essential as our very breath. As we ascend the mountain of the Lord onto Zion, the great reward is not a bigger church or more anointing but it is His manifested Presence that will bring the Kingdom of Heaven down here on earth.
Pastor Kevin joined the full-time ministry (Cornerstone Community Church Singapore) in 2012, following a successful career as the Head of Information Technology in a multinational company. Rev Solomon Bulan is currently the Senior Pastor of BEM Cornerstone (Borneo Evangelical Mission, Cornerstone). He worked as a high school teacher and later became a lecturer at the Teacher’s College before he left for the Bible College of New Zealand in 1993. He returned to Sarawak to pastor in several BEM(SIB) churches and had served as the Deputy President of BEM/SIB for a term.Closer to home, he is of course the father of our beloved Ps Rachel Bulan and we’re blessed to have him minster this coming weekend!

Datin Sri Garnette read English Literature at University Malaya and did post graduate in Linguistics at University of York, UK. She gave up her teaching career to be a full time homemaker. Her home become the base from where she serves the Kingdom by opening the doors of her homes to prayers and hospitality. Her teaching career did not cease but extended into lay work in the Anglican Diocese as a speaker at Women’s conferences and retreats.

The Lord is more ready to pour out His spirit than we are ready to receive it. At a time when the Lord is speaking about the great harvest of souls and revival, He is also raising up a glorious bride for the outpouring of His spirit.
Like the wise virgins, we must be prepared and have oil in our lamps for the return of the groom. He is doing a deep work in our hearts to increase our capacities for the more to come.

God is accelerating His end-time purposes to bring about a restoration of His glory on the earth before the return of His Son. The Church must ready herself.

Religion is the greatest threat to the kingdom because it intends to substitute the kingdom. When the kingdom of God is truly functioning in a house, it produces kingdom culture - one that reflects the King. However, when religion is activated in a house, it produces a mere system - one that causes people to strive into
‘righteousness’ and when full born, they will bear fruits of self-righteousness. This weekend, we will rediscover the kingdom of God from the perspective of overcoming the religious spirit in the houses of our hearts, our family and in our land.
There are many descriptions that God uses in the bible to illustrate what the church of Christ is meant to be. Of the many, one such description is that of being God's house, but not just any house. It is one built with living stones - lives that are wholly devoted to God and joined together by God Himself. His house is not contained by brick or mortar, nor built by human hands. His house is a spiritual house and we are his building blocks. We are the church. We are living stones.
A King forged in fire, not empires
What was it that established the Kingdom of David? That even Jesus Christ was said to sit on the throne of David. Was it his courage as he fought off lions and bears? His musical gifting as he played the harp and demons would flee? His ability to slay giants, to command armies? Was it even his “Kingly” anointing? But how could the Lord be impressed with the annointing that He gifts?
There is a great difference between the outward clothing of the Spirit’s power and the inward filling of the Spirit’s life. In the first, despite the power, the hidden man of the heart may remain unchanged. In the latter, that monster is dealt with. For it is the heart that makes the King.
Our God has many facets and dimensions to who He is. There are over 300 names of God in the bible. He is known as the Lord of Hosts, the Holy One, the Alpha and Omega, our Healer, the Lord our Banner and the list goes on. With all those names to His characteristics, He is also a personal God who came to us as a Good Shepherd. Do you know Him?
Much of the Church has known the Gospel to be in three predominant realms - The death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and quite rightfully so. Yet, even though that is the Gospel, it isn’t all of it. We have left out one more crucial dimension, a higher realm that Christ has died for us to come into! And until we have a relevation of this higher dimension of living, we will not be effective in our walk and in our warfare.

The weight is not just upon what we do, but it's upon who we are. True mission flows out from true identity. What we do must flow out from who we are because if not, then we're missing the point and not hitting the mark. We're called to be a strong church and we must not lose nor dilute the core of who we are!

We are all made to have a relationship with God and to be in communion with Him in a place of love and rest. But ever since sin entered the world, self-strive has defined how we look at our works, families and ministry.
This week we revisit God’s original divine order for mankind. He has given us His presence and we are to return to Him the fullness of ours. How do we do that? We guard our secret places.
We are thrilled to have Ps Jonathan Chandra with us this Sunday. When he was 13 years old, he had a life changing encounter with the Holy Spirit that led him to the assignment of preaching the Gospel. He pursued his ministry training in Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, Redding, California. Currently, he is the lead pastor at Calvary Community Church, Johor Bahru.
This year we are called to ascend the hill of the Lord with clean hands and pure hearts. Essentially, what it means is to seek the face of God. Moses, whom the Bible describes as one who would speak with God face to face, like how a man would speak to a friend, exemplified to us what it means to seek the face of God. Before he embarked on his journey to the Promise Land, he sought after three things from God: His heart, His presence and His glory. A generation who knows how to seek the face of God is a generation who can pull Heaven down.
If you look through the Gospels, you would see that many times, people tried to distract Jesus away from His mission and it wasn’t just His enemies who brought distractions but even His disciples. At every time when Jesus saw someone more mindful of the things of men than the things of God, He would put that behind Him and move forward towards his mandate. We’re living in days where accuracy is essential if we’re going to walk in the fulfillment of the Lord. It’s no longer time to be dull and aim any-oh-how in hopes to hit the target; rather, we must sharpen our spititual hearing and discernment and be accurate in hitting bull’s eye!

In Psalm 24, we are presented the King of Glory who is strong and mighty. This is the King of Glory that we are awaiting to come riding into our world and to make every wrong thing right. However, in Matthew 21:5, we are presented a King who is lowly and sitting on a donkey. Which of the two is a right representation of our King of Glory? He lies in the tension between these two revelations, that the King who is mighty in battle is also gentle and lowly at heart. It is because of His humility that makes Him worthy to be exalted as the One who is strong and mighty.

In Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. “
The concept of purity is often linked to abstinence, sobriety or having higher moral ground. Yet the very first revealing of the Messiah (asides the disciples), was to a Samaritan woman who was with a man that was not her husband. Her repentance allowed her heart to be cleansed and opened her eyes to see Jesus as the Messiah. While the Pharisees who devoted their lives to religious acts of ritual cleansing could never see God. Jesus addresses “pure in heart” which goes beyond external purities because when out hearts shift towards Him, our lives will reflect it.
Set our affections on Christ so that we would allow Him to create in us a clean heart. For it is never the reformation of character, or our willpower that would lead to a pure heart.

Psalm 24: Who shall ascend the mountain of the Lord? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.Not he who has the most followers, or he who has achieved the most for Christ. Purity is the mandate for the season, purity of heart is a posture of a beautiful surrender and not a state of achievement. It’s realising that without God we are nothing, and apart from Him we will do nothing. So this year we are prepared to go mountain climbing with our hands wide open. To seek the face of the Lord, and as we ascend we leave our baggage behind. Come up higher, my beloved! Come up higher, my bride! For blessed are the pure in heart, they shall see God.

With greater works comes greater strength, and this strength comes only from God as we learn how to wait on Him. It is the strength that will take us up higher, a strength that rises through the storm to come to a place of rest above the storm. We are going from strength to strength into the new year!
It’s not how we start but always how we end. This year has seen many ups and downs, joys and tears, challenges and victories but yet, it’s been through the hardships that we’ve seen strength and emerged refined conquerors! When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19-20)
In every season, God always found a faithful people to lift up His standard against the enemy. A people that will not succumb to the standard and the pressings of the world or their circumstance, but will look to the cross. For by His blood that was shed, a standard was raised that no enemy will ever be able to overcome.
All throughout our lives, from the moment of childbirth and to our final breath, we are immersed in a sea of voices. As a child, it is the voices of our parents, teachers, and caretakers that perhaps have the loudest volume in shaping our everyday lives. These voices tell us how to behave, how to think, and how to act. And as we mature with age, more and more voices emerge, ones that we had not been aware of before, and yet now seem to be deafening. With the voices of societal pressures, cultural expectations, and popular media, everybody seems to have got something to say to us. What happens then when these voices do not agree with each other? And yet in the midst of all these, there is One Voice that speaks truer than any other, One Voice that has spoken us into being, One Voice that has the power to truly bring change. God still desires to speak today, but are we listening?
This season has seen some of the darkest times, the attacks of the enemy put us in a constant state of reaction- tension, worry and fear. Now more so than ever, FAITH has to arise in this hour to trust and rest in Him. Trusting that God still is victorious and ready to bring in the greatest harvest we’ve ever seen.
In Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies” we see God’s perfect provision is supplied especially in trying times where the enemy is on the offense. To overcome is to be established in faith in Christ.

In Psalm 24, we are presented the King of Glory who is strong and mighty. This is the King of Glory that we are awaiting to come riding into our world and to make every wrong thing right. However, in Matthew 21:5, we are presented a King who is lowly and sitting on a donkey. Which of the two is a right representation of our King of Glory? He lies in the tension between these two revelations, that the King who is mighty in battle is also gentle and lowly at heart. It is because of His humility that makes Him worthy to be exalted as the One who is strong and mighty.
Our spiritual journey of faith is parallel to a marathon. Like every long-distance runner, there is a season of preparation and training. We then strive forward and persist on towards the finish line. As Christians, we must train with purpose, run with determination, and discipline our souls for the everlasting crown. The Holy Spirit came upon the early Church in the form of divided tongues of fire that turned the world upside down for the kingdom of God. Today, that same fire must be kept burning on the altar of His church. We must steward it well! For there to be fire there needs to be a sacrifice. No sacrifice, no fire.
In Romans 12:1, The apostle Paul pleaded with his audience to offer up their bodies as a living sacrifice. A living sacrifice is a life laid down in complete surrender for the Holy Spirit to take full possession.
If you look through the Gospels, you would see that many times, people tried to distract Jesus from His mission and it wasn't just His enemies who brought distractions but even His disciples. Every time Jesus saw someone more mindful of the things of men than the things of God, He would put that behind Him and move forward toward his mandate. We're living in days where accuracy is essential if we're going to walk in the fulfillment of the Lord. It's no longer time to be dull and aim any-oh-how in hopes of hitting the target; rather, we must sharpen our spiritual hearing and discernment and be accurate in hitting the bull's eye!

Romans 8:17 tells us that we are "heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together".
The Greek term translated as 'heirs' in Romans 8:17 refers to 'those who receive their allotted possession by right of sonship.' Our position as sons and daughters of God affirms our inheritance in Him, not one of worldly value, but of eternal significance. Our inheritance is a great inheritance - it is the kingdom of God which is both coming and is also now. The invitation to be co-heirs with Christ still stands today, if we are willing to take our position next to Him, in suffering, and in glory.

With every transition of seasons there is a call to be prepared and equipped before stepping into the new. Promotion without the right foundation will eventually crush us. Often its in the wilderness where things of our hearts are revealed and refined.
This week we will be looking at the journey of Joshua's generation right before crossing River Jordan into the Promised Land. We'll learn from the instructions given by Moses to ensure that we will be successful in taking our Promised Land, and also in keeping it through the generations.
Many a times, when the urban folks come into a village, they tend to look out for “what can be done better” which sometimes leads to, “how can I help them to improve”. Consumed by the lack in what they see with their natural eyes, they tend to forget that the villages and the valleys were places that God has often chosen to pour out His spirit and reveal His glory. It is with the longhouse people, those who are poor in spirit, the hungry and thirsty for righteousness, and the meek whom He reveals His glory to. There is much the villages can learn from the city, but there is also much the urban people can learn from the longhouse people. It is not that one is greater than the other, it is the convergence of both the garden and the city coming together that will release a powerful move of the Spirit of God!
Simply living off past encounters and revelations can only bring us so far. When God is on the move, we must move along with Him. Our Christian walk was never meant to come to a halt, but convenience has led us to compromise with complacency in our relationship with God. In a world where settling for the status quo is commonplace, we need to refix our eyes onto the one prize that matters for a life that is sustained not by our own human might or power but one empowered by His Spirit. We cannot settle for any less of God; there is more.

Everyone is searching for a purpose and often a void that can only be filled by God. We were made to be loved by Christ and love Him in return; and a part of it has to be demonstrated in the love for people.
In a world of "a tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye", we need to learn and demonstrate mercy. Mercy is one of the great attributes of God and is a foundation stone in society. It defies natural explanation. The most natural thing in the world is to want vengeance and to see your enemy punished. The most unnatural and supernatural thing to do is to show mercy and totally forgive the one who has hurt you. True godliness is when you demonstrate graciousness and mercy even though it hurts. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
We have been hearing it all around us, that God is about to do a new thing. He is about to pour out His new wine and we the Church must become new wineskins if we are to contain this new move that God is birthing. God is on the move and we must be flexible to move with Him. Our hearts must be teachable to learn new things from the Holy Spirit as He guides us into all truth. Freedom will be the hallmark of this new move of God, for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!

In the 1800s, the vineyards of Europe faced a crisis. The entire winemaking industry was on the brink of closing their doors for good as the roots of their grapevines were not resistant to a decimating disease. However, horticulture experts in grafting were able to save the fruits of their labour by importing a variety of grape rootstock which was resilient to the attacks of the disease. In John 15, we are introduced to the true vine, Jesus and how we are to abide in Him. As we abide in him , we become resilient and are able to bear much fruit . Are we grafted into life or death today?
The moment God promotes a church into a new realm, you can be sure that she is going to be opposed by the devil. The warfare is just accelerated anytime a church is lifted into the realm of revival and we must never be unaware of the enemy's schemes. In these seasons, we are not to lose heart but to come into alignment with who God is as a mighty Man of War! He is the Lord of Hosts and He has an armory in heaven, and His glorious Bride must be ready in and out of season to warfare.

It was Helen Keller who said, “The only thing worst than being blind is having sight but no vision.” To give birth to something, you must first conceive it by seeing it through the eyes of faith. Our great father of faith, Abraham, was one who had vision. It was the vision that he saw when the Lord spoke to him through the number of stars in the sky, and the number of sand on the sea shore. That one vision set him for life, and despite the circumstances that looked impossible, he persevered because he had a God given vision. If we are going to birth the dreams of God’s heart, we need a vision from Him. If you can see it, you can have it!

There will be times in life where we will be hard pressed on all sides. There will be times where we find ourselves in situations where there seem to be no way out. These are times when we start to doubt the promises and dreams that God had given us. Yet, we must not forget that our God is the Lord of Host, Jehovah Sabaoth, the God of angel armies who is going before us to fight for us. It is He who makes a way for us when there seems to be no way. He is our defender and our mighty deliverer! What is too hard for the Lord of Host?
The battle is unto the harvest! There’s a call to enlist in the army of God as we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness. So as warriors we are to put on the armour of God, and to stand our ground.
No longer will the enemy wage fear in our midst. We’re pitching our tents and possessing the land, our city belongs to the Lord. Are you battle ready?

God is on the move! There is such an excitement in the Spirit because God is about to unleash an outpouring of His Spirit like never before. However, we see throughout history that these moves of God are cut short because of division. God would not move if His people are divided. He holds the unity of the Church so dear to His heart. That is why the Apostle Paul instructed the Church in Ephesus to make every effort to safeguard the unity of the Spirit. A house divided against itself will not stand!
At what point does a place become a home?
When we decide to stay and take ownership over it. This shift in passivity was fundamental in the early acts church. Discipleship isn’t just salvation or adding to a number count but helping people develop ownership. We’re raising them to stay the course- “sticky people”

In 2010, Ps John and team started TransforNation Centre, which is a purpose driven community-based organization undertaking leadership training projects in the areas of Governance, Marketplace, Arts, Education, Sports and Social communal work in Kuching. He is presently also the Chairman of Eden on the Park Sdn. Bhd., a private limited company undertaking a pioneer project on an integrated Retirement Facility in Samarahan, Kuching.

In the first two verses of the bible, we are introduced to Spirit of God as One who hovered over the face of the earth (Genesis 1:2 NKJV). And wherever He hovers and moves, He creates. When the Word and the Spirit came together, it resulted in creation. The Spirit of God is still hovering today, seeking for those who would speak forth the Word of God and let His Spirit bring forth creative power. By His word, food was multiplied, the limbs of the lame were fortified, the sight to the blind restored, and even the dead are raised. God is on the move, we must move with Him!
Who is our Heavenly Father? Do we know Him as someone who has a rod in His hands waiting to punish us when we do something wrong? Or do we know Him as a Father who loves us unconditionally with a compassionate heart. It is important that we know how much the Father loves us, because that will determine our identity. Either we live as sons and daughters of the kingdom who are loved by the Father or hired servants who are constantly striving to gain the His approval. Our Heavenly Father is a Good Father and His love for us is unfailing!

King David knew the importance of the Presence of God. Upon being anointed as king, he pursuit the return of the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. David’s kingdom was always presence oriented, it was how he fought and won his battles.
The prophet Amos prophesied that God will restore the tabernacle of David (a foreshadowing of the Church being the dwelling place of God). Therefore, if we are to become a dwelling place of God, we must build according to the pattern that is found in Scripture. Then we can truly say “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven!”
Proverbs 23:22 states, "Listen to your father who begot you, and do not despise your mother when she is old." How you treat your parents really do matter to God, so much so that He said it will be well with you if you honour your parents and you will live long. We're told not to despise our mothers when they're old. For all that they've sacrificed and given, we ought to return the honour back to them.
Beyond knowing mothers as just the lovely women that shower us with hugs, warm meals and words of affirmation. Mothers were designed to birth life, nurture it and “create realities”. This Mother’s Day, join us as we rediscover the authority of mothers (physical and spiritual) in our lives. That behind some of the greatest Kingdoms and influential men of God, was a praying mother.
When you’re in the right place at the right time with the right people, in the right city, and under the right anointing, a spiritual spontaneous combustion happens and God propels you into your zone. Israel was a composite of twelve tribes and each tribe had unique anointing. Depending on which tribe you belonged to, that would be the anointing you would come under and you will also share in the inheritance allotted to that tribe. Your vibe attracts your tribe! “Who’s your herd?”
We are indeed living in a time where we are to arise and shine for our light has come for the glory of the Lord has risen upon us. God is looking to manifest His presence and His power through us the Church. His eyes are searching high and low for vessels that would carry His glory. Vessels who will reflect His glory and not absorb it. Vessels of glory are earthen vessels that are weak and frail but having the power of God working mightily through them. It is when we are weak then we are strong!
Ps Alex Larsen was involved with the Assemblies of God Fellowship since his conversion in 1970. He served as a youth Leader in the Upper Hutt Assembly and when the senior pastor resigned from the Church, he was invited to take over. He pastored in Upper Hutt since 1978 for 6 years. In December 1984, he moved to Manurewa and became the Senior Pastor of the local Assembly in March 1985, a position he filled for 32 years.After a personal Holy Spirit encounter with the Lord back in 1986, he had an increased passion to see the things of the prophetic both understood and practiced in the wider Body of Christ. Much of his more recent ministry is focused on things related to the prophetic.

The kingdom of God is unlike the kingdom of the world. While the kingdom of the world is seen, pompous, and often spectacular but shallow; the kingdom of God is unseen and hidden but mighty in influence unto tangible transformation. The kingdom of God doesn't come by observation but by revelation and If we don't see this, we become narrow in our thinking and theology. We preach the kingdom and build the church!
Back in the days, people wore sandals and walked on unpaved and dusty roads. It was customary for a basin of water to be prepared by the host to wash the feet of the guests. It was a task carried out by the most menial of servants. Yet on the night before Jesus died, He did the unthinkable. He demonstrated the most radical act of humility. A master washing the feet of His disciples. There is something more to this account than just servanthood. Contained within this radical act of humility was the blueprint of salvation. Christ humbled Himself to become man, died on the cross and brought reconciliation between God and man through His blood.

Is there more to the Christian life than just being a Sunday churchgoer? The heart of God is always for His children to grow in their faith so they would become mature sons and daughters who would reflect Christ. We can either remain stagnant in our faith or grow in our walk with God by becoming true disciples of Christ. True disciples of Christ are those who would follow Him unto the very end despite the circumstances that they may have to face in life. As they faithfully follow Him, they will start to become like Him. We grow in our walk with God by becoming true disciples of Christ.
Celebration is going to be a key component in moving forward in our faith life. If you’re always stretching and never celebrating, you’ll eventually break. Celebration is intentional and we don’t have to wait for a special occasion to celebrate. The art of celebration will take us a long, long way!
Joseph’s greatest place of battle with his family is where he found his greatest places of inheritance, even unto his family. Joseph’s betrayal and rejection from his brothers would also lead him to bring salvation to them in the future because of God’s great plan. When we are standing right in the eye of a storm and we have no strength to carry on, we begin to wonder if any of this pain and struggle is worth it. The answer is yes! If you saw the greatness of your inheritance, you would understand the magnitude of the battle you are fighting.
There is no middle ground with prayer - You either love it or loathe it. Prayer has unfortunately become a last resort of solution for believers today instead of the first response. And yet, prayer is the very foundation of our calling. We are called to be a house of prayer for all nations. Many churches have become a house of preaching with great and entertaining communicators, or a house of programs with a lights, sight and sound experience, all the while losing our design to be a house of prayer. We must not quench or grieve the Holy Spirit. We need the spirit of prayer and intercession - the kind that will touch heaven and change earth, back in our churches!
Even as we step into a year of abundance, of provision with purpose, of breakthroughs, there is a greater need for consecration. Our body has impulses and we need to govern these appetites. There are boundaries that God sets for us in this life. It’s in these boundaries that true life occurs. You’ll never take a fence down unless you know why it was put up there at first. And in order to enjoy the abundance of God's blessings, we need to learn to respect the boundaries!

We all experience a measure of joy in our lives, whether it’s in a kind word, in a friend’s hug, in our team’s victory or when we have good food with good company. However, Christmas is not a normal joy. Christmas, the Gospels say, is great joy. Christmas is not natural joy, but supernatural joy. Christmas is a time to remember that God had sent His Son as our long awaited Savior. The normal joys in our lives are just but a glimpse of the great joy that we are to experience through the birth and the gift of God’s Son for us.
I came back from Israel, after encountering the humanity and humility of Christ, with one conclusion: We have become over-familiar with a God we barely know. There is a new surge of hunger to desire Him and to see Him for who He is. We have erected images of what we know of Christ and they have become idols in our hearts. And yet, He looks at these idols and says, “That’s not Me. That’s not who I am.” There are attributes that attract the Lord to reveal Himself to us and there are traits that put Him off. Do we really know Him?
Pastor Dian was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He joined the military after high school and served as an officer in the 1 Parachute Battalion. A parachute accident brought him to encounter the Lord and turned the course of his life around. He left the military and began a different training with YWAM where he gave up his military career for missionary work. Pastor Dian teaches at Tung Ling Bible College in Singapore and is currently on staff at Cornerstone Community Church. He is passionate about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and moves fluently in the areas of prophecy and healing. He is married to Eve and they have three children.

Have you ever organized a banquet? It takes times to plan - from the seating arrangements to the dinner menu. Nothing is more frustrating than having your invited guests bail out at the very last minute after tirelessly preparing for the occasion. Jesus in Luke 14 spoke of several parables of which one was about the great banquet which we’re all invited to. His banquet is no ordinary feast – it symbolizes His gospel, kingdom, and life. Would we partake in this feast or say “Sorry! Have to Pangseh”?
So often we come to this place where we’re believing God for great things but it’s not come to pass. It feels like we’re stuck in this never ending airport transit desperately trying to get to our destination. So how do we navigate this awkward season and in turn make it some of the best seasons of our journey.
Jesus was able to go through excruciating pain in obedience unto the cross because of the “joy that was set before Him”. Joy is not dependent on our circumstances or on our feelings. Joy is a choice. When we choose joy above our circumstances, we are giving purpose to our everyday life and purpose is what gives us the endurance to go through the trials and challenges that we face. It’s in this place that we truly understand that the joy of the Lord is our strength!
Building is never a lone sport. It takes a team to build. Nehemiah needed a team to rebuild the broken down walls of Jerusalem. Moses had to learn that no matter how gifted an individual was, help is always needed. The disposition of the church is never meant to be passive or in spectator mode. We must all be activated! We must all be involved! We must build!
Ps Alex Larsen was involved with the Assemblies of God Fellowship since his conversion in 1970. He served as a youth Leader in the Upper Hutt Assembly and when the senior pastor resigned the Church, he was invited to take over. He pastored in Upper Hutt from 1978 for 6 years. In December 1984, he moved to Manurewa and became the Senior Pastor of the local Assembly in March 1985, a position he filled for 32 years.
After a personal Holy Spirit encounter with the Lord back in 1986, he had an increased passion to see the things of the prophetic both understood and practised in the wider Body of Christ. Much of his more recent ministry is focused on things related to the prophetic.
Today, we are living in a time where it is all about me, myself and I. This may be the world’s culture but it certainly is not kingdom’s culture. The Apostle Paul exhorts the Church in Romans 12:10 to “outdo one another in showing honour”. It is an act of submission where we are able to acknowledge the importance of others rather than ourselves. This is kingdom culture!

Luke 8:40-56 details two miracles that happened in a single account – one, a woman with the issue of blood and two, the raising of Jairus’s daughter from the dead. Paradoxically, the woman with the issue of blood laid hold of Jesus’s hem and received her healing while Jesus laid hold of the Jairus's daughter's hand and raised her to life. Truly Jesus is our Healer, Redeemer and Saviour. There is much we can lay hold unto!
We live in the age of a supposed knowledge explosion. Never has humanity been so within reach of knowledge. With the advancement of technology and widespread adoption of the internet, we can seemingly acquire information and knowledge with a few strokes of the fingers. And yet with all the access we have to information that technology has afforded us, we seem just as equally confused if not more than before. The problem we face today might not be that we do not have information, but that we have too much of it. In a sea of voices screaming to be heard, who do we listen to? How do we differentiate truth from falsehood? How do we navigate our lives and find our way? How do we find True North?
When the battle horns were sounded by the prophetess, Deborah, some of the tribes of Israel responded while others didn’t bother. The reasons why some tribes didn’t respond to being deployed unto battle gives us a prophetic picture of our current state as well. God is taking a census and He’s doing a headcount as to how many are for Him. Will you be counted?
If there is a perfect scenario that describes fighting a battle from the place of rest, it has got to be the story of David and Goliath. With one sling of a stone, the mighty giant was slain. Today, God is still in the business of raising up giant slayers who would fight His battles to bring down the giants that are holding His people back from breaking through. These giant slayers are those who fight from a position of rest.
In Revelations 7:9, we have been given insight into a divine place and divine time of God where there is a gathering of a multitude of people from every nation, tribe, people and tongue surrounding the throne of God. It is a glorious image of God’s divine plan and purpose for what is to come. It reveals what is upon the heart of God - the unity of the many distinct tribes who have overcome the world through tribulation. The ancient key of every nation is in the hand of the natives and tribes, the first born and “anak sulung” of the land. May we come into unity to run our unique race in our specific calling, destiny and purpose.

We have continually cried out for a new thing, but God needs new wineskins that will be able to stretch to contain His move. So are we learning to find flexibility or have we become so stuck in our ways? A typical adult today spends an average of 40 hours a week at work. That's a significant amount of our waking hours. Although the type of work we do has undergone many transformations since men walked the earth, such as moving from the fields to the offices, introducing the use of technology, diversifying into all sectors, there's no denying that work remains a large part of our lives. And hence it has also been greatly pondered upon by people of all eras. Is work a curse? Is it virtuous, or is it a meaningless pursuit? Is it simply a means to provide for ourselves and our family? This weekend, we seek to answer some of these questions by turning to the One who created work from the very beginning and seeing what the Bible has got to say.
The parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15), speaks of a shepherd leaving the ninety-nine flock and going after the one lost sheep. Economically speaking, it isn't the most responsible thing to do. In fact, it can be deemed reckless and careless. On the flip side, this action also reveals the passionate side of the Shepherd in the value He sees in that one sheep that He would leave the ninety-nine behind. True love is a love that goes beyond just affection, feelings and romance. True love is having a Shepherd who would lay down His life to give you life.
The Bible has many principles that are a paradox to one another that seemingly look like a contradiction - To have life, you must give it away; to be a leader is to be a servant; to be full is to be hungry. There is a greater revelation of God through Jesus awaiting every one of us. It begins with knowing the greatest paradox of all - that Jesus is not half man and half God but that He is 100% man and 100% God. Jesus Christ came from heaven and walked on earth. He set captives free and was killed for it. He resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven. His death on the cross defeated death itself! We are alive because He is alive!
At the mention of the name of Jesus, there is no polite neutrality. In the Bible, we see that people are either passionate lovers of the Lord –willing to die for the Gospel and the expansion of His kingdom– or we see His name stirred up anger and hatred in those who were against him like the Pharisees and Sadducees. In the midst of all the miracles and wonders, debates, and preaching of the word, Jesus asked two questions to his disciples:
First, "What do people say I am?"
And second “Who do you say I am?”
If Jesus was standing before you, what would you say?

There is a call over the Church today to arise and shine in these times that are getting darker. Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden”. In these distressing times, the Church must become the lighthouse that reflects the light of Christ to guide those who are lost back to safety.
Shy what shy? Many of us grow up in a culture where it’s wrong or proud to speak highly of yourself or to praise someone close to you like your children or your spouse. The truth is, when you become fully alive in who you are, it doesn’t reduce the people around you, instead it actually inspires the people around you! What are the roots to this "paiseh" culture we grew up in? We shall deal with these root systems this week!
Share what share? The spirit of kepo for many of us will say something like, "Aye did you hear about...". Gossip is a cancer in the body of Christ that, if not removed, will destroy the fellowship. Gossips are among the most destructive tools that Satan uses to destroy the church. People’s reputations can be forever destroyed by a simple gossip that has been spread throughout the congregation. Gossip and other sins of the tongue have absolutely no place in the body of Christ. None.
Scared what scared? The command to "fear not" is one of the most mentioned exhortations in the bible. Why? Because fear is humanity's most common problem. The pandemic today has not brought about fear but rather, it's exposed and revealed the fears that have been inside of us all along. We need to be "kiasi no more" as we move along in combating fear face-on!
If there is a word to describe Dr. Naomi Dowdy, it is that she is a pioneer. She started as a missionary in the Marshall Islands (think Robinson Crusoe), and became the first woman senior pastor of a Singapore church, back when women pastors (of any kind) were unheard of. She has founded several organizations of global impact, and she is still pioneering today. If there is one theme that constantly echoes through Dr. Naomi Dowdy’s teaching, it is that God is constantly shifting His people from one level to the next, always advancing them from one divine assignment to another. She is inspiring and raising a new generation of world-changers.
A survey was done on the reasons why Christians aren’t serving in churches, and here are some of the responses. Many Christians struggle with the idea that they are not needed, unqualified and that serving requires too much of a commitment. Some feel that ministries are best left to be done by paid church staff and professional hires. Sadly, some also stopped serving because of past experiences and conflicts. However in 1 Peter 4:10, we are commanded to serve with the gifts that He has bestowed upon us. When the people of God truly understand the importance of serving, we glorify God and we edify others. We can find joy and experience joy when we serve! Serving was never intended for pain. Let’s serve!
Breakthrough can be likened to the process of chopping firewood. The breakthrough of the firewood comes after many strikes at the same area repeatedly. After months and years of praying the same prayers, many of us feel like we are far away from our breakthrough. Sometimes things need to get worse before they get better. God has a purpose for the delay but now it is time for the promises of God to be fulfilled. There is a call to keep striking at the same area repeatedly. He who doesn’t quit wins!
Whenever we are pressing into the promises of God, there will always be resistance. And that’s why we must contend for the breakers anointing. God is the "Owner of breakthroughs" and He goes before us. There is nothing that He cannot break open, break through or break into. We are going to see mighty and significant breakthroughs this year!
