Today we start out our conversation with a discussion about Red Bull and the International Arm Wrestling League, that quickly morphed into the fellas spring break plans, and ended with a discussion about what it means to be enough in Jesus. "I Am" is the latest sermon series we are working through on Sundays at Park Church and will continue through the same series for the next few weeks. We talked about speaking things into existence and the practice of hoping the universe will align for your favor, vs. having your faith in the Lord and being enough in him. We talked a bit about seeing a counselor if you are struggling with mental health whether it be a certified biblical counselor, or a secular counselor, make sure you are taking care of yourself and chatting with someone if you need it. Trent is indeed a certified biblical counselor and is always available for appointments or walk-ins if you need his services.

This week we welcomed in Special Guest and sending Pastor Mike Augsburger from Soteria in West Des Moines. Mike has been the lead pastor at Soteria for the past 14 years and has grown the church to new heights, even planting a new church on the East-Side of Des Moines, Park Church! Mike joins us today as we talk about elders, pastors, and bishops in the church, what it looks like to have a toxic culture in churches, and how we can attempt to avoid that with constructive conversations. Transparency goes a long way in communications, and grace plays a part as well in not holding our administrative team to different standards than the next sheep in the flock. J

We talk a little about Applebees, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and leading sheep; not accumulating sheep.
