Description: In this sermon, the speaker addresses a critical concern within the Christian community: the growing misunderstanding of the Bible's authority among believers. The sermon begins by highlighting the alarming trend of Christians questioning the Bible's divine origin, emphasizing the necessity of recognizing the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, not merely a collection of texts determined by the church. The preacher delves into the core issue: contrasting views on the source of the Bible's authority, where one perspective credits the church's role in canon formation, inadvertently placing ecclesiastical tradition above Scripture, while the correct stance acknowledges God as the ultimate author, thereby making His Word inherently authoritative and unchangeable, irrespective of human acknowledgment.
The sermon passionately argues that God's inspiration, not human consensus, confers authority upon the Bible, using vivid illustrations from Scripture and theology to affirm that the Bible's truth remains steadfast, serving as a guiding light for personal faith and righteousness. The preacher underscores the transformative power of the Bible, illustrating how it shapes believers' lives by providing clarity, conviction, and direction in a relationship with Christ. Finally, the sermon calls for a recommitment to the Bible as the foundational truth, urging the congregation to make informed, Spirit-led decisions that honor God's Word above all human tradition or interpretation, ultimately leading to a life rooted in divine truth and purpose.
The sermon titled "Not Ashamed" (Part of the 'Living Godly Lives in the End Times' Series) by Gio focuses on living godly lives in the end times. It starts by emphasizing the importance of trusting in God despite the darkness of the world and the certainty that He will complete His good work in us. The sermon then highlights the individuality of salvation, using Noah, Daniel, and Job as examples of obedience, singleness of mind, and trust in God, even in difficult times. These qualities are described as proactive, deliberate choices made when grounded in God's Word.
Gio shares a personal story from high school to illustrate the concept of being ashamed of one's faith. He recalls a moment in a French class where a teacher asked students about their belief in the Biblical creation story, leading to a discussion on the concept of being ashamed of Jesus and His teachings. This concept is further explored through the examination of Mark 8:38, which warns that Jesus will be ashamed of those who are ashamed of Him.
The sermon emphasizes the cultural context of honor and shame during Jesus' time and its relevance today. Being ashamed of Christ, especially in a sinful and adulterous generation, is depicted as having eternal consequences. Gio stresses the need for Christians to be bold in their faith, regardless of ridicule or societal pressure.
Gio cites Clifford Goldstein’s book "The Day of The Dragon" which discusses the challenges Christians will face in the last days, including the temptation to abandon faith due to ridicule rather than persecution. The sermon underscores the importance of not being ashamed of any aspect of Christian faith, even those that may seem outdated or unpopular.
Paul's teachings in 2 Timothy 1 are referenced to emphasize the importance of standing firm in faith despite potential suffering or ridicule. Paul's example of not being ashamed of the gospel, despite his own imprisonment and suffering, is highlighted as a model for Christians.
Gio returns to his high school story, revealing that only one student, not himself, raised their hand in belief of the Biblical creation story. This moment of personal shame is compared to Peter's denial of Christ, emphasizing the importance of not repeating such mistakes.
The sermon concludes with a call to focus on Jesus, the "author and perfecter of faith," who endured the cross and despised its shame for humanity's sake. Gio urges the congregation to stand boldly for Christ, ensuring nothing, especially shame, separates them from their Savior. The sermon ends with a prayer for courage and growth in grace.
In this enlightening sermon, Minister Gio delves into the profound lessons of Ezekiel 14, focusing on the theme of living godly lives in the end times. The sermon emphasizes the importance of unwavering faith and steadfastness in the face of spiritual and moral challenges, as foretold in the Bible.
Key Highlights:
The Dark Canvas of the Last Days: An exploration of the challenging times predicted in the Bible, stressing the need for strength and endurance through faith in Jesus Christ.
Reprimanding Spiritual Leaders: A critical look at Ezekiel 14, where God reprimands leaders, especially spiritual ones, for idolatry and setting bad examples.
Idolatry and True Worship: The necessity for believers to have hearts solely devoted to Jesus Christ, free from the idols of this world.
Learning from Noah, Daniel, and Job: Inspirational examples of these biblical figures who exemplified obedience, determination, and trust in God amidst their trials.
Individual Faith and Action: The sermon underscores the importance of personal commitment to God, mirroring the faith and actions of Noah, Daniel, and Job.
A Call to Personal Commitment: An invitation for introspection and a challenge to live a life of obedience, resoluteness, and trust in God, following the examples set by biblical figures.
This sermon is a must-watch for those seeking guidance and inspiration on how to navigate the complexities of faith in modern times, drawing strength from the timeless wisdom of the Scripture.

Summary:
In this sermon, delivered on January 6, 2024, Gio discusses the importance of enduring faith and trust in God during challenging times, especially as described in the context of the last days. He emphasizes the need for steadfastness and perseverance in the face of adversity, as foretold in the Bible. The sermon is part of a series on living godly lives in the last days, and it aims to prepare the congregation for the trials and tribulations prophesied in scripture.
Gio draws parallels between the physical endurance required in athletics and childbirth to the spiritual endurance needed in the last days. He cites various Biblical passages, including Matthew 10:22, 24:13, and Mark 13:13, to illustrate the necessity of enduring to the end for salvation. The sermon also delves into the challenges faced by early Christians, as described in the book of Hebrews, highlighting the struggles and persecutions they endured for their faith.
Further, Gio warns of the dangers of complacency and the need for constant vigilance and preparation for the trials ahead. He uses powerful imagery from the Bible to depict the severe hardships and moral decay that will characterize the end times, drawing from stories like those of Noah, Lot, and the state of society in the days of Judges.
The message concludes with an uplifting note, emphasizing that despite the hardships, believers can find peace and overcome the world through their faith in Jesus Christ. Gio encourages the congregation to develop a personal, enduring faith in God, preparing them spiritually for whatever lies ahead.
Summary:
In this inspiring sermon, Gio delves into the critical choices we face in our spiritual journeys, especially as we contemplate living in what could be the final days of God's timeline. He uses the backdrop of Moses' farewell address in Deuteronomy, paralleling it with Paul's final messages in Acts, to emphasize the gravity of choosing between life and death, blessings and adversity. Gio focuses on the theme of making conscious, daily decisions to walk closer with God, highlighting the urgency and personal responsibility in choosing a life aligned with Christ's teachings. He also addresses the distractions and challenges that can lead us astray, such as worldly temptations and false teachings within the church. Ultimately, Gio urges the audience to prioritize a personal relationship with Jesus Christ above all, emphasizing that our choices have eternal consequences. This message serves as a poignant reminder to reflect on our spiritual progress and to make conscious decisions that lead us towards eternal life with Christ.
Summary:
In this sermon, Gio focuses on the Christmas story through the unique perspectives of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. He starts by giving an update on Glenn, the atheist they've been praying for, then moves into the core of his message. The sermon delves into the emotional and spiritual journeys of Mary and Joseph as they navigate the miraculous birth of Jesus. Gio draws parallels between their experiences and contemporary Christian life, emphasizing themes of faith, trust, and surrender to God's will. He also reflects on the prophetic significance of Jesus' birth, highlighting its long-anticipated role in salvation history. Throughout the sermon, Gio interweaves personal anecdotes, including his own experiences with faith and parenthood, to illustrate the impact of Jesus' birth and the power of faith in everyday life. The sermon concludes with a prayer, inviting listeners to embrace the gift of Jesus and share the message of eternal life.
In this episode, Gio explores the concept of the hiddenness of both God and the enemy, Satan. The discussion begins with a recap of previous sermons on the resurrection and the hiddenness of God. Gio explains that God’s hiddenness is not to coerce belief but to invite genuine love and faith in His character and message.
Gio then shifts focus to the hiddenness of Satan and the role of a judge in a courtroom, drawing parallels to the divine courtroom drama depicted in the Book of Job. He examines how God and Satan negotiate within certain parameters, highlighting the limitations placed on both in the story of Job. This leads to a deeper discussion on the nature of temptation and the strategies Satan employs to sway humanity, including blessings, riches, power, and the manipulation of our senses.
Gio addresses the role of the enemy in contemporary society, including its influence in the music industry, Hollywood, and scientific communities. He criticizes the atheistic perspectives in science, pointing out the logical fallacies and absurdities in denying the existence of a creator.
The sermon concludes with an appeal to choose between the light of God’s truth and the darkness of Satan’s deception. Gio emphasizes the importance of discernment in recognizing the evidence of both God and Satan in the world. The choice, as presented, is between love, free will, and truth versus the nihilistic views of atheism.
The prayer at the end calls for guidance in choosing life and light over darkness, asking for divine discernment in understanding the evidence of God’s presence in the world.
Summary:
In this sermon, the central theme is the evidence supporting the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The speaker begins by contrasting the beliefs in creation from nothing, as held by atheists, with the Christian belief in God's creation of the universe. The sermon then focuses on examining the evidence for Jesus' resurrection, acknowledging the extensive information available and the need to distill it to essential points.
Key aspects of the sermon include:
Biblical Foundation: The sermon opens with a reading from 1 Corinthians 15, emphasizing the significance of the resurrection in Christian faith. Paul's writings are highlighted to establish the resurrection as a cornerstone of Christian belief.
Historical Context: The sermon acknowledges the differing views of liberal and conservative scholars on biblical texts but emphasizes the historical authenticity of specific New Testament books, particularly those authored by Paul.
Scholarly Perspectives: The views of prominent scholars like Gary Habermas and Bart Ehrman are discussed. Habermas is noted for his work affirming the resurrection, while Ehrman, despite being an atheist, acknowledges certain historical aspects of Jesus' life, death, and the belief of his followers in his resurrection.
Evidence Analysis: The sermon addresses common skeptical arguments, such as hallucinations and delusions, and counters them with logical explanations and biblical accounts, particularly focusing on the conversion of Paul and James.
Witness Accounts: The sermon underscores the importance of eyewitness accounts, particularly those of the apostles who endured hardships and martyrdom for their unwavering belief in the resurrection.
Personal Reflection and Appeal: The sermon concludes with a personal reflection on the transformative power of faith in the resurrected Christ and a prayer for those seeking faith.
Throughout, the sermon interweaves theological insights, historical scholarship, and personal belief to present a compelling case for the resurrection of Jesus as a fundamental truth of the Christian faith.
The sermon "Hidden In Plain Sight" delivered by Gio begins with personal anecdotes about his challenging week, including a minor accident and breaking his new computer. He then transitions to a thought experiment about inheriting $300 million, highlighting the challenges and changes in relationships that such sudden wealth can bring. This leads to a discussion about why God doesn't make His existence more obvious, and the concept of the "hiddenness of God." The sermon argues that a clear, unambiguous presence of God would influence people's behavior out of obligation rather than genuine belief or love, similar to how people might act differently in the presence of a police officer or a wealthy individual.
Gio discusses various philosophical perspectives on acquiring knowledge: empiricism (knowledge from sensory experience), rationalism (knowledge through reason), and constructivism (knowledge constructed by individuals based on their experiences). He emphasizes that while these approaches are valuable, they must be balanced with faith in God.
The sermon highlights examples from the Bible and science to argue that there is sufficient evidence of God’s existence in nature and our surroundings. The eruption of Mount St. Helens is used as an example of how rapid geological change can challenge the slow processes typically associated with geologic change. Gio argues that faith is necessary to maintain belief amidst doubts and rational challenges.
Towards the end, Gio encourages the congregation to actively seek truth in all areas of life, emphasizing that this pursuit will invariably lead to a deeper understanding and relationship with God. He reassures them that despite moments of doubt or lack of tangible evidence, faith and a personal relationship with God provide a profound sense of assurance and purpose.
In summary, the sermon "Hidden In Plain Sight" explores the relationship between faith, reason, and the perceived hiddenness of God. It argues for a balanced approach to knowledge, combining empirical, rational, and constructive methods with a steadfast faith in God, concluding that an active pursuit of truth in all aspects of life will ultimately lead to a deeper understanding of and relationship with God.
Summary:
In "The Heart of Giving: Seeking God's Glory in Acts of Kindness," Gio reflects on the importance of sincerity and humility in Christian service, drawing from a recent sermon on the Sermon on the Mount. He emphasizes that while acts of kindness, such as giving to the poor, praying, and fasting, are commendable, they should be done not for public acclaim or self-satisfaction but for the glory of God. Gio critiques the superficiality that can accompany public displays of charity and stresses that true Christian service is characterized by a genuine, selfless desire to honor God. He discusses the dangers of hypocrisy and the need for personal introspection to ensure that one's motives align with God's will. The sermon concludes with a call to prioritize God's glory and honor in all acts of service and worship, assuring that such a focus will lead to divine reward, whether on earth or in heaven.
This episode takes a unique turn as we dive into Luke chapter three, focusing on the interplay between material wealth and spiritual contentment. We start by comparing the beginning of spiritual journeys to the challenge of starting a new project or endeavor, emphasizing the uncertainty that often accompanies these initial steps. The sermon transitions into a reflection on the 400 years of divine silence between the Old and New Testaments, drawing a parallel to our own experiences of unanswered prayers. When the silence is broken, it's through the unexpected voice of John the Baptist, who emphasizes repentance and the evidence of a transformed life as the true measure of faith. Specifically, John's message to the people—and to us—is that salvation is not found in the abundance of possessions but in the sharing of our resources, honest living, and contentment with what we have. This episode encourages listeners to reevaluate their relationship with money, understanding that the love of it is the root of all kinds of evil and that true contentment comes from a life lived in generosity and integrity, bearing fruits that reflect the heart of God's teachings.
Summary:
In this profound sermon, Gio reflects on the nature of thankfulness in the midst of life's inevitable changes and challenges. He begins with a personal anecdote, sharing a dialogue with a non-believer named Glen, inviting the congregation to pray for Glen's encounter with God. As the sermon unfolds, Gio interweaves stories of Thanksgiving, loss, and the ever-shifting composition of family gatherings, touching on the bittersweet nature of the holiday season. Through biblical narratives, he highlights the reasons for gratitude even when faced with unanswered prayers, like Elijah and Jonah, or when healings don't occur as with Paul's thorn in the flesh. The honesty of Scripture is emphasized, particularly its open invitation to scrutinize the resurrection—a fundamental aspect of Christian faith. Gio concludes by acknowledging the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus, whose answered prayer at Gethsemane led to the salvation of humanity. This message serves as a reminder to be thankful for God's love, the answered and unanswered prayers, and the certainty of His will, calling us to cherish our faith in a living and loving God.
Summary:
This sermon, titled "The Narrow Gate: Living the Beatitudes in the Last Days," focuses on the challenges faced by modern Christians in living out the teachings of Jesus as outlined in the Sermon on the Mount. The minister, Gio, begins by sharing a humorous anecdote about the practical struggles of their current church setting, transitioning into the need for a dedicated church building. He then delves into the conclusion of a series on the Sermon on the Mount, focusing on Matthew chapter 7, verses 7-14. Gio emphasizes the contrast between the expectations of a messiah figure who would lead a revolt against oppressors and the message of Jesus, which calls for a life of humility, mercy, and love—even towards one's enemies.
Throughout the sermon, Gio highlights the difficulty of adhering to the Beatitudes in one's own strength, pointing to the necessity of divine assistance through prayer—asking, seeking, and knocking—for the transformation of the heart. He calls for introspection among the congregation, urging them to let go of grudges, to be genuine in prayer and service, and to seek the transformation that aligns with the nature of the Beatitudes.
As the sermon progresses, Gio addresses the need for continuous spiritual growth and commitment, encouraging the congregation to intentionally choose the narrow path of following Christ, which requires an active and intentional faith. He concludes by drawing parallels between the Beatitudes and the actions of Jesus, particularly His sacrifice on the cross, and extends an invitation to live in accordance with these principles, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The sermon ends with a celebration of baptism, welcoming new members into the faith community, and a final affirmation of the commitment to live out the teachings of Jesus, without turning back, as the world watches and as the day of His return approaches.
Join Minister Gio as he brings the Sermon on the Mount into a modern perspective, tackling the challenging ideals set by Jesus in Matthew 7. In this episode, we delve deep into the essence of true discipleship — it's not just about following Christ in name but embodying His teachings in every aspect of our lives. As we wrap up the series, we confront the stark warnings against false prophets and self-deception, and the stark reality that not everyone who claims to follow Christ truly knows Him. Through scripture, personal reflections, and tough questions, we explore what it means to bear good fruit, live by the Spirit, and build our lives on the solid rock of Christ's words. This powerful conclusion to our series is an urgent call to examine our hearts, our habits, and our obedience to God's commandments. Whether you're at the beginning of your spiritual journey or well on your way, this message is a beacon guiding us towards the narrow gate that leads to life.
The speaker discusses the concept of atonement, drawing parallels between biblical events and the journey of salvation. They reference the Day of Atonement, where the sanctuary is cleansed from the sins of the year. They mention Jesus' proclamation, "It is finished," interpreting it as the guarantee of salvation, but with remaining steps in the process. The speaker also refers to the Book of Revelation and the transition from Jesus' priestly role to his kingly role. They emphasize the importance of accepting Jesus' sacrifice and choosing to be in Christ. The speaker concludes by looking forward to discussing the "live goat" in the next session and the final phase of the process.
In this sermon, the speaker explores the symbolism of the sanctuary service in the Old Testament and its significance in the plan of salvation. The speaker emphasizes that the daily rituals and the annual Day of Atonement represent the continuous intercession of Jesus Christ for humanity. The sermon underscores the importance of accepting Christ's sacrifice and remaining faithful to Him, as He applies the merits of His sacrifice to our lives continuously. The speaker also highlights the individual and collective implications of these rituals, explaining that they represent not only personal salvation but also the ultimate judgement of humanity. The sermon concludes with an invitation to trust in Christ's sacrifice and a reminder of the promise of eternal life for those who do.
This sermon examines the profound significance of the Sabbath in the spiritual journey from slavery to freedom, drawing from biblical texts. The speaker emphasizes how God chooses the fourth commandment as a symbol of sanctification, a process likened to a child being cleaned and dressed in their best by a loving parent. He explains that the Sabbath acts as a sign, symbolizing God's power to sanctify and provide rest. Additionally, he discusses the transformative role of sanctifying the Sabbath, highlighting the personal relationship it fosters with God. This exploration of Sabbath sanctification offers fresh perspectives on understanding and living out this sacred commandment.

The speaker addresses the challenges of being single in the church, regardless of age or relationship history. They suggest that being single has its advantages, but also comes with its challenges, which the married individuals should acknowledge and offer support to those who are single. The speaker emphasizes that one's relationship status should not define them, and that we should focus our lives on serving God, whether married or single. They suggest that one can either do it God's way or the world's way, and that God's way is better. In part two, the speaker will discuss the different stages of being single and how to do it God's way.

The talk discusses the negative impact of hookup culture on society and the pressure on single people to be defined by their sexuality. The speaker explains that God has called us to be holy, and whether married or single, we should strive to be holy in him. The hookup culture is shown to be soulless and immature, with the emphasis on physical pleasure rather than emotional connection. The chemical reactions in the body during intimacy create involuntary commitments, and every time we give ourselves away outside the confines of the biblical mandate, we separate ourselves further from Christ. The talk concludes by emphasizing that the happiest men and women when it comes to intimacy are those who do it under the banner of Jesus Christ.

I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom Visit us at https://woodlandsadventist.org (https://woodlandsadventist.org)
