Prussian Socialism Episode 22: The German Settlement of Transylvania [featuring Jazzhands] RSS feed MP3 Download
You have heard of America’s Wild West… but what about Europe’s Wild East?
In the 1100s, several hundred Western Europeans came to Transylvania at the invitation of the Hungarian king, Geza II. Their mission: to secure the Carpathian Mountains against the attacks of the horse-archer peoples of the Eurasian Steppe.
Over the next four centuries, they built castles, churches and cities, holding the south-easternmost outpost of Western Christendom. Briefly vassals of the Turks, they returned to the Hapsburg fold after the 1683 siege of Vienna and played a crucial role in the politics of Austro-Hungary and later Romania.
The settlers—known as the Transylvanian Saxons—were reinforced by later inflows of colonists from northern Germany and the Low Countries. By the 1930s, they numbered 300,000.
The Transylvanian Saxons are just one piece of a larger, millennium-long tale of settlement, trade, and conquest—the Drang nach Osten, the “Push to the East”. Starting in the 1100s, Germanic peoples pushed eastward into the Baltic, the Balkans and even farther afield. They brought cities and agriculture to the sparsely populated and disorganized East. Their movements surged and ebbed throughout the centuries, but by the 1700s, Germanic settlements reached as far as the Volga.
Unlike the later sea-borne expansions of the Spanish, Portuguese and others, it is almost unknown in the English-speaking countries.
Join Greg Conte and Fash the Nation’s Jazzhands McFeels for a discussion of this little-known but highly consequential history. Jazzhands brings not only knowledge, but also relates his own experiences in Saxon Siebenbürgen—the land of the seven cities.

Prussian Socialism Episode 21: The Stab in the Back and Treaty of Versailles RSS feed MP3 download
In November of 1918, a leftist cabal overthrew Kaiser William II and sued for peace with their country’s enemies. These traitors agreed to withdraw German troops from all enemy land and to surrender her fleet.
In so doing, they stripped Germany of all her bargaining power. It is not surprise that, in the ensuing peace-conference, Germany was made a slave of International Money-Power.
This is not a controversial view. It is—more or less—the consensus of mainstream historiography.
And despite the cease-fire, Britain maintained its hunger-blockade, causing famine throughout Germany, Austria, and much of central Europe.
In the shame-treaty that followed, signed at Versailles seven months later, Germany was forced to accept guilt for starting the war and pay a huge indemnity, among other indignities.
This was indeed a stab-in-the-back. And yet even while acknowledging all of the facts, some still allege that this betrayal was a “legend” or “a conspiracy theory”.
Jews, communists, and liberals fomented a revolution. They sold their country out. They delivered its people into the clutches of International Jewish Finance. How is that NOT a stab-in-the-back?
The Treaty of Versailles was the most crucial turning point of the last 200 years. It destroyed the European balance of power and, in due time, made the whole White World subject to Jewish money power.
Germany’s fate has become our fate.

Jews seem to have a thing for blood. For centuries, Europeans have accused them of stealing the blood of gentiles. Of course, Jewish academics and media deny the "blood libel".
Is this a case of Europeans irrationally hating Jews? Or a case of Jews doing evil things and getting called out for them?
In this episode, Greg Conte and William discuss the so-called blood-libel and other manifestations of Jews in European folklore. They reference the academic work of truth-seeking Jew, Ariel Toaff, who spent years digging through medieval Italian court-records to write his book "Passovers of Blood".
According to him a sect of "extremist" Ashkenazi Jews was kidnapping Christian children, torturing them, and drinking their blood. Who would have thought?

Prussian Socialism Episode 20: The Teutonic Knights and Germanic Holy War [featuring Warren Balogh] RSS feed MP3
Everyone knows about the Crusades in the Holy Land. But what about the Crusades in the Baltic? For 300 years, the Teutonic Order waged war across the Baltic, Poland and even Russia to bring Christianity to the last Pagan peoples in Europe.
The Order was founded in Acre in 1190. After a brief stay in Transylvania, it found its calling in the swampy forests on the north-eastern edge of civilization. Under its Grandmaster Hermann von Salza, the Order established a military mini-state devoted to holy war. Trudging though snow and frost, its heavily armed knights and swarms of crossbowmen raided villages, built castles, and brought Christianity to the heathen.
Germans, Poles, Russians, and everyone else have often depicted the Northern Crusades as violent—yet glorious—race-wars. On the other hand, many modern historians have downplayed this interpretation. Who is right? Were the Teutonic Knights evil predators, noble holy-warriors, or something else entirely? Gregory Conte and Warren Balogh explore this dark and nearly forgotten chapter of European history.

Prussian Socialism Episode 19: Goethe’s Faust, Part 2 RSS feed MP3
“Faust Part 2” is the ultimate expression of the European cultural idea. In this vast, 7000-line poem, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe lays out his mature worldview.
There is hardly a topic that Goethe does not deal with: metaphysics, ethics, economics, politics, poetics, even geology. While “Faust Part 1” mostly sticks to the traditional Faust-story, “Part 2” creates a gigantic poetic-allegory. Faust ceases to be a mere lust-driven scholar and transforms into a personification of Creative Power.
With his servant, Mephisto, Faust travels across Germany and Greece, all through the ages, striving to satisfy his urge to create and to know. Along the way he meets gods, men, mythical creatures, literary heroes—the full imagination-world of Western culture.
In this episode, Gregory Conte and Romanized Visigoth (“Roman”) sketch the basic themes of this sprawling poem. “Faust Part 2” is not an easy work. Goethe was a 200-IQ genius who had comprehended Western art and philosophy from the Greeks on. But why does this universally recognized masterpiece of European literature get so little attention today? Could it be because of the Jews?

Prussian Socialism Episode 18: Goethe's Faust, Part 1 RSS feed pleb-friendly MP3 download
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) was one of the greatest and most versatile poets of all time, a rival to Dante, Shakespeare and Vergil.
His masterpiece is the philosophical epic Faust, which he worked on for over 50 years.
In the traditional Faust-story, Faust sells his soul to Mephistopheles in exchange for 24 years of sin and fun. In Goethe’s re-telling, Mephistopheles is bound until Faust is content with life (Werd’ ich zum Augenblicke sagen, “Verweile doch, du bist so schön”).
Faust, Part 1 is concerned with Faust’s attempts to find satisfaction in his personal life, especially by seducing the innocent girl, Gretchen. In Part 2 (not discussed in this episode), Faust goes out to work his will on the world.
Faust is generally considered the most important work of German literature, and one of the most consequential in all of European history. It is a great loss that it is barely known in America and Britain.
Greg Conte and Romanized Visigoth (“Roman”) recount the facts of Goethe’s life and the plot of Faust, Part 1. They then discuss some of the main ideas.
Translations:
Kaufman, Walter (Jew). Edition contains Faust Part 1 and a couple scenes of Part 2, German and English on facing pages.
Arndt, Walter (Dartmouth professor). Full translation of parts 1 and 2. Lots of good notes and explanatory analysis.
Turns out both translations that I have read are by a Jew and a anti-German traitor (Arndt). It’s not really a big deal. You can only screw up a translation so much.
There is also a 19th century translation by American poet Bayard Taylor available online.

Who was Germany's greatest WWII general? According to Field Marschall Erich von Manstein, it was himself. In his 1955 classic Lost Victories, Manstein argues that if Hitler had only listened to him more, Germany could have won the war.
He might have had a point. In 1940, Manstein masterminded the invasion of France through the Ardennes. In early 1943, he ingeniously fought off a series of titanic Soviet offensives after the battle of Stalingrad, saving tens of thousands of Axis troops from almost certain capture or death. He even argued that Germany could have won at Kursk, and that the proposed invasion of England (Sealion) was not as crazy as it seemed.
Was Manstein smarter than his Führer? Or was he a braggadocious know-it-all? Gregory Conte and Hans discuss the life and legacy of one of Germany's top leaders and strategists.

Prussian Socialism Episode 16: The Disintegration of the Roman Republic RSS feed
In 202 BC, the Roman Republic was at its height. It had beaten Carthage its most dangerous rival in the Western Mediterranean and was now free to go on a career of expansion and exploitation.
In the following 50 years it conquered Greece, much of Spain and north Africa. The Romans got filthy rich. But in the next 70 years it began to break down, a victim of its own success. The Patricians became greedy and undutiful, snatching up land and gold and squeezing the soldiers and peasants ever harder.
After the final defeats of Carthage and Greece in 146 BC, a series of politicians tried to combat the ills that were tearing the Republic apart. In this lecture, Gregory Conte discusses the lives of Tiberius and Caius Gracchus, Marius and Sulla. It them, we see the sort of men and the sort of methods it will take to overcome America's own political problems.

A petty Italian city-state went on to conquer Italy and dominate the Mediterranean. At first a town of little consequence, Rome was forced to become a regional power after it was humiliated by invading Gauls in 390 BC. After consolidating its power in Italy, Rome came into conflict with the great sea-empire of Carthage, with whom it fought two titanic wars from 264-202 BC. Rome won, but just barely. It took the steadfastness and organization, plus the genius leadership of P. Cornelius Scipio Africanus to save its state and bring Carthage to its knees.
In this lecture, Gregory Conte gives an overview of the rise of Rome and the Punic Wars and their meaning for Europeans and Americans today.

Prussian Socialism Episode 13: Guderian and the Blitzkrieg RSS feed
It's August 1941, do you drive on Moscow or the Ukraine? Take Moscow, and Germany deals a huge blow to Soviet moral and cripples the USSR’s logistical system. Take Ukraine, and Germany captures hundreds of thousands of Soviet troops and secures the breadbasket of Europe. Of course, history can only play out one way. Hitler ordered a drive on the Ukraine. But what if he had ordered an all-out attack on Moscow? Could Germany have won the war in the East in 1941?
After the war, many generals argued that Germany could have won. Prominent among them was tank-warfare theorist and Panzer commander Heinz Guderian. In his post-war book Panzer Leader, Guderian recounts his role in shaping Germany’s armored units and doctrine, arguing that Germany could have won if Hitler had listened more to his generals. Was Guderian right, or was he just coming up with excuses?
Greg Conte discusses Guderian’s arguments and record, and the role of mechanized warfare with fellow autiste and WWII-enthusiast Hans.

Prussian Socialism Episode 12: Frederick the Great, the Autiste King RSS feed
Over the course of nearly 50 years, Frederick II (1712-86) made Prussia from a minor German state into a European power to rival Austria, France and Russia.
After snatching the rich region of Silesia from Austria, Frederick embarked on a series of legal and administrative reforms that made Prussia into the world's most enlightened state. His work was almost destroyed in the Seven Years War (1756-63) when his small and territorially divided country was invaded by Russia, Austria, France and even Sweden. Leading the army, usually in person, Frederick inflicted major defeats like Rossbach and Leuthen on his enemies, and, with a bit of luck, forced his arch-rival Maria Theresa of Austria to make peace.
Frederick is known as a man of many talents. He was a world-class flute-player, a good composer, and a prolific writer and reader. With the help of eight daily cups of coffee and many nose-fulls of snorting tobacco, Frederick packed many lifetimes of accomplishment into his 74 years. Despite his love of music and learning, he always placed his duty to his land and people first. As a military leader and man of culture, he was an inspiration to many great Europeans, including Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler.

Italian philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli (1469-1527) is famous for his realist political outlook. But is the reputation deserved?
Warren Balogh and Greg Conte apply Machiavelli's thought to modern examples including Adolf Hitler, Napoleon, and America's Jewish power-elite. They also work out what parts of The Prince are the most crucial for White Americans to understand.

For three millennia, they built up and maintained the world’s first great culture. But after that, its memory vanished for two thousand years, only to be preserved in a few vague Biblical and classical retellings. But in the 19th century, in one of the greatest feats of European scholarship, the writing and languages of ancient Mesopotamia were rediscovered and deciphered. The half-Japanese aristocrat, Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, is notorious as a promoter of race-mixing and globalism. But was that all there is to the man? Was Kalergi just a foaming-at-the-mouth defender of multiculturalism and Jewish power? Greg Conte and William discuss the life and writings of this now nearly forgotten Japo-Austrian noble, who was one of the key players in the formation of today's European and World orders.
Since his childhood, Kalergi took an intense interest in languages and philosophy. In his mid-20s, he started a movement to form a united Europe, to be led by intellectuals, statesmen, artists and financiers. Backed by Warburg money, Paneuropa was the talk of the European elite in the inter-war years.
But then Kalergi's well-laid plans were frustrated by a man who, in his view, was no more than a low-born, uneducated, Alpine peasant. It wasn't until almost a decade later that the Count was able to link up with the likes of Winston Churchill and Charles de Gaulle and to--at last--turn Paneuropa into a reality.
Given his seeming importance, why is Kalergi so little talked about today? Why are most of his works untranslated? Was he a villainous genius, a Jewish puppet, or something else? Greg and William cover all this and more and conclude that the European Union might in fact be worse than Kalergi even intended!

Prussian Socialism Episode 2: Adolf Hitler's Foreign Policy featuring Warren Balogh
Adolf Hitler's strategic decisions have often been criticized, and even ridiculed, as tactical mistakes or even acts of insanity. But most of this criticism is unsound. According to German war-hero Otto Ernst Remer, it was the Jews and their stooges in the international elite who instigated the bloody, civilization-wrecking conflict. Greg and William review and discuss Remer's book Kriegshetze gegen Deutschland.
About the Show: "Prussian Socialism" will cover the great men and ideas of European history and culture from a National Socialist perspective. The emphasis will be on Germany in the world wars, but we will talk about a wide range of topics from ancient times to the present.
The purpose of the show is to reframe Western history. What events and ideas really matter? What leaders and heroes should the Americans and Europeans of today admire? Could it have all turned out another way?
Sure, the race is real and the Jews are powerful. Yes, the Holocaust is a dumb lie. But what else is there to know? So much more. Our conclusions are sure to shock all but the most hardened NatSocs.
Our first episode discusses the causes of WWI. We base our discussion on Otto Ernst Remer's untranslated "Kriegshetze gegen Deutschland" (War-mongering against Germany). Remer was a Wehrmacht general and life-long National Socialist. He is most famous for crushing the 20 July '44 coup-attempt.
In future episodes, we will talk about Hitler's foreign policy, Kalergi's Paneuropa movement, and Clausewitz's philosophy. And that's just the beginning.
