AFRI-TUNES WEEK #29. Afrobeat-making process.

Beat-making is one of the most crucial parts of music production.

Good day fam. I hope we are all doing well today. I am D-princy and welcome to Afri-tune week#29.

In this edition of Afri-tunes, I will be entering the community with a video of me making an afrobeat.

In this video, I will only go through the process of making the beat from scratch and how I arrive at the result.

A short story about my beat-making lifestyle

Making beats has always been part of me ever since I was in high institution. I started my beat-making lifestyle 3years ago. I was partially serious about it then because I was in my final year then. In a nutshell, I am presently into production i.e., beat making, song recording., and mixing engineer. I make a couple of beats for some artists and producers like me too.

Everything used in this short production is not much.

. Shakers

Percussion loops

Wood sound

Tight kick

Lounge Lizard piano sound and organ

I actually wish I could do a clearer and clean sound recording, but we are still in the process. Hoping to get there soon by God’s grace.

I just wish you guys enjoy this.

I want to use this platform to appreciate everyone on this platform for the love and support got for you all.

More so, I want to apologize for me not engaging much on the platform. There will definitely be a change from now henceforth.

ENJOY YOUR WEEK. LOVE YOU ALL.

AFRI-TUNES SEMANA #29.

DISFRUTA TU SEMANA. LOS AMO A TODOS.

HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #I28 WITH THE THEME DESAMOR WHICH MEANS HEARTBREAK IN ENGLISH.

Hello friends on hive open mic. I hope we are all good and doing great wherever we are right now? It feels so good to be back here on hive.

On this week edition of hive open mic week#128, with the theme DESAMOR which means HEARTBREAK in English. I will be using this opportunity to sing my one of my songs titled BREAKFAST.

This song is a song I brought out from the experience I had in my last relationship. Just in case you don’t know what breakfast means. Breakfast isn’t just what we eat in the morning alone. We also classify breakfast as HEARTBREAK. It can be served through anybody-to-anybody . A father can server his children’s breakfast likewise a mother too. But this team is mostly used here in Nigeria in the case of a guy and a lady in a relationship with each other.

Breakfast is well served one of them breaks the heart of the other one in the name of he or she is no longer interested in the relationship that is almost leading to marriage. That scenario in tagged “Breakfast well severed” 😂

Let enjoy the lyric together.

LYRIC...

Just like yesterday..

You came to my face..

You told me babe you need some space...

I need to let you go..

I can't even say no

Cuz you've been acting weird lately, I can't even control...

You give different excuses...

I felt like I didn't do diz...

I know i'm not perfect but I don't have to go through this...

Overwhelmed by emotion

I took it like devotion

I gave you some corrections

During my meditation

I did my investigations

When I noticed the situation

Until I find out dat your love isn't real..

This worth a big deal.. For me..

I'm so down for real...

.

.

.

Giving me loves that aren't mine..

Showing me shits and giving me signs...

Making me fell like all tin is fine...

Even on me, wen i had no dime...

But i had the joy to call you mine...(Delay)

Your eye were on the street um...

I thought we were undefeated..

Kept myself on fit mehn

Tryin to mind my business...

Make love no go kill mehn...

I hope you guys.

This song originally sang by my very good friend and I. He told the lead role of the song while I take rap part of the song.

The song was his idea, but I was the one who produced the whole song including the beat.

The major reason we both agreed to this song was because we both had our Heartbroken almost the same month this year.

Tho we are over it already and everything fine.

LA VOZ CANTANTE WEEK #33 | MY WORSHIP BY PHIL THOMPSON.

Hello guys. How are we all doing here? I hope all is well with y’all. I welcome you all to LA VOZ CANTANTE WEEK #33. I am Dprincy and this is my first entering in this awesome community. Going through the community a few months ago and a good friend and boss of mine made me understand more about the community dues and done.

But I must say this, I am not a good vocal person I.e., I sing very terribly. Though I tried to train myself to be good the reverse is the case. But since this community requires singing, I have to contribute mine to the community.

For this week’s entry, I will be singing a song titled MY WORSHIP BY PHIL THOMPSON.

I chose this song because it is in line with the community’s expectations in regard to music selection.

This song is categorized as a Christian Rock song and with so much musical experience in it.

Let’s enjoy the lyrics together.

Lyrics

You Lord, you are worthy

And no one can worship You for me

For all the things You've done for me

And no one can worship You for me (lift it up)

Here's my worship

All of my worship

Receive my worship

All of my worship

Here's my worship (all of mine)

All of my worship (Father, receive my)

Receive my worship (all of my worship)

All of my worship

You Lord, You are worthy (and no one)

And no one can worship You for me (for all the)

For all the things You've done for me (and no one)

LA VOZ CANTANTE SEMANA #33 | MI ADORACIÓN POR PHIL THOMPSON.

Hola, chicos.

Y no me callaré

siempre te adorare

Mientras respire

Siempre te adoraré (diciendo "lo haré")

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #125

With the theme NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

How are we all doing today?

So glad to be here again this week

In this episode, I am going to be doing a guitar cover of a song titled NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE by The Planet Shakers.

THE PLANET SHAKERS.

This of amazing people are just so wonderful. I love virtually all there songs most especially NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE & TURN IT UP. This two songs are just everything i need when i am down or sad. I could December,2019 when The Planet Shakers came to Nigeria to minister at the Experience. With them (THE PLANET SHAKERS) it was indeed and experience i am yet to recover from till now.

Let me tell you little about the experience i experienced @ the Experience 2019.

During the course of the program, the music ministration as been going smoothly and very sweet to the hearing and soul. Ministers like Dom well, Travis Green, Tim Godfrey, Sinah, Sammi okposo etc. All these ministers have been ministering well with there mutual sound. But when The Planet Shakers mount the stage, i was like "Jezzzz" because the whole sound system change.

NOTE; I could really notice this because i am a little bit of sound engineer.

I was so happy to hear their first bass intro which made me scream loud and want to become a bassist instantly. Lolz. I wont lie to you they (the planet shakers) made my traveling down for experience worth it.

I love them.

Through you

I can do anything

I can do all things

For it's You who give me strength

Nothing is impossible

Through you

Blind eyes are opened

Strongholds are broken

I am living by faith

Nothing is impossible!

I'm not gonna live by what I see

I'm not gonna live by what I feel

Deep down I

Know that you're here with me

I know that, you can do anything

I believe, I believe

I believe, I believe in you

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #124

With the theme MOONSHINE

How are we all doing today?

So glad to be here again this week

In this episode, I am going to be doing a guitar cover on one of my instrumental titled BLUES JAZZY.

I did this instrumental last year in my Studio, hoping to do a guitar solo on it someday. I guess the someday is today...lolz.

It was from the joy of blues music i made this instrumental and i'am glad i could make it to this extent.. I know it may not sound professional tho, about it worth something to me.

Smiling.

LITTLE GIST ABOUT BLUES MUSIC.

Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep south of the United States around the 1860s by African-Americans from roots in African-Americans songs. Blues incorporated work songs, spiritual, filed hollers shouts chants, and rhymed simple narrative balle. The blues forms in jazz, rhymes and blues, and rock and roll is characterized by the call and respond pattern, the blue scale and specific chord progression, of which the twelve-bar blue is the most common. Blue note (or "worried notes"), usually thirds, fifths or sevenths flattened in l, are also an essential part of the sound. Blues shuffle or walking bass reinforce the trance-like rhythm and form a repetitive effect known as the groove.

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #123

With the theme A BETTER FOR WORLD FOR ALL.

How are we all doing today? I am so sorry this is entry in coming this late. I hope i am forgiven..

In this episode, I am going to be doing a guitar cover of a song by Michael Jackson titled Heal the world.

Michael Jackson was a legendary before he died; and wat did they say about A LEGENDARY? "There legacy leave's forever. Michael was a world known individual.

Jackson influenced artists across many music genres; through stage and video performances, he popularized complicated dance moves such as the moonwalk, to which he gave the name, as well as the Robt . He is the most awarded individual music artist in history.

Let try and enjoy the lyrics together...

👇

There's a place in your heart

And I know that it is love

And this place it was brighter than tomorrow

And if you really try

You'll find there's no need to cry

In this place you'll feel there's no hurt or sorrow

There are ways to get there

If you care enough for the living

Make a little space

Make a better place

Heal the world

Make it a better place

For you and for me, and the entire human race

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

If you want to know why

There's love that cannot lie

Love is strong

It only cares of joyful giving

If we try we shall see

In this bliss we cannot feel

Fear of dread, we stop existing and start living

Then it feels that always

Love's enough for us growing

Make a better world

So make a better world

Heal the world

Make it a better place

For you and for me, and the entire human race

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

And the dream we were conceived in will reveal a joyful face

And the world we once believed in will shine again in grace

Then why do we keep strangling life

Wound this earth, crucify its soul?

Though it's plain to see, this world is heavenly

Be god's glow

We could fly so high

Let our spirits never die

In my heart I feel you are all my brothers

Create a world with no fear

Together we cry happy tears

See the nations turn their swords into plowshares

We could really get there

If you cared enough for the living

Make a little space

To make a better place

Heal the world

Make it a better place

For you and for me, and the entire human race

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

Heal the world

Make it a better place

For you and for me, and the entire human race

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

Heal the world (heal the world)

Make it a better place

For you and for me, and the entire human race

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

There are people dying

If you care enough for the living

Make a better place for you and for me

You and for me (for a better place)

You and for me (make a better place)

You and for me (make a better place)

You and for me (heal the world we live in)

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #122

With the theme EMOTIONS.

How are we all doing today?

I am so glad to be here again this week. I was not opportune to join the community last week because of my church program. I was really busy all through the week. But I am glad to be here this week.

In this episode, I am going to be doing a guitar cover of a song by my brother BERACAH titled YOUR LOVE CAME.

Little gist about the song and the artists.

The song was composed by my boss (Beracahpraiz but I call him pmix). He is a very good drummer, good composer and a wonderful vocalist.

What brought about the song, I don't know... But to me this song is one of my best so far ever since it has been released.

So because this week, week122 is about emotional that's why i choose my brothers song "your love came". Because I get emotional singing this song. Thinking of the Love Jesus have for me...

Let try and enjoy the lyrics together...

👇

Artist: Beracah

Song Title: Your Love Came

“Your Love Came” is a catchy sing-along that repetitively describes the potency and resilience of the Father’s love for us, both at the point of salvation and when we fail as his children.

LYRICS

When I felt the weight of my sin on me

And thought I hid from you

When I thought I needed to be perfect

Before approaching you…

Your love came!

Your love came!

(Repeat)

Bridge:

It came and saved me, it came and changed me

Your love came

(3X)

Now I’m free (4X), now I’m free because

Your love came

When I felt the weight of my sin on me

And thought I hid from you…

¡¡¡Hola!!!

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #119

With the theme PREJUDICE.

How are we all doing today?

In this episode, I am going to be doing an instrumental solo on Tye Tribbet song titled SAME GOD with my electric lead guitar.

Little gist about the song.

This song (Same God) was song I have always have the zeal to render live on stage. Tho I achieved it but it wasn't recorded and it was a hit. After the rendition of the song on stage back then I got a lot of good comments and I was happy about it. The instrumental was a downloaded video I got from YouTube. So I decide to jump on it.

LYRICS

Hey, if he did it before, he can do it again

if he did it before, he can do it again

1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2,3, go

I won't give in, no I'm not gonn' turn around, yeah

I know I'll win, if i don't give up now

I am waiting, for my change to come in I know

He will come through, this is how I'm so sure

If he did it before, he can do it again

Same god right now, same god back then

If he did it before, he can do it again

Same god right now, same god back then

I've got power, I know I will overcome

Greater is in me, the fight ain't fair 'cause I've already won

and yes i may fall, and get knocked down to the ground

I know I'll rise up, this is how I'm so sure

If he did it before, he can do it again

Same god right now, same god back then

If he did it before, he can do it again

Same god right now, same god back then

Please be, encouraged, this is not the first storm you've been through

You've been through worse, you didn't come this far just to lose

He knows your needs, so take no thoughts on what you lost

God will restore, and this is how I'm sure

If he did it before, he can do it again

Same god right now, same god back then

If he did it before, he can do it again

Same god right now, same god back then.

He is he is same God right now

He is, He is same God right now

In this episode, I am going to be doing a solo on a sad beat with my electric lead guitar.

Little gist about my new electric guitar.

I just got this guitar this week with some of the money i acquired from hive block chain. Initially, the money was ment for something else but channeling it into this guitar is what one of the things i am happy to do.

So, if you notice some rusty solo on the guitar, i am sorry, just in the process if getting myself back on feet.

The beat.

Starting from the tempo,beat making process, adding instruments, recording vox signature, mixing and mastering are just so cool.

I hope you enjoy the vibe, get the message and don't be sad.😢

Let try and enjoy the lyrics together...

Mayokun “Certified Loner” (No Competition) Lyrics Meaning

The lyrics of Mayokun Certified Loner capture the reaction of someone who has just forfeited a friendship.

In the song, the persona addresses the friend who is no longer interested in keeping his company directly and makes bold to say that the loss does not freak him.

According to him, he is not surprised that his old listened to people’s advice and decides to fall out of friendship with him.

Here is the lyrics.

``` In this episode, I am going to be covering a song titled
```

"Don't you need somebody by Redone".

This song has really been a song I love right from time. My love for the song starts from how the song is been produced. As a producer, there are some content we listen to in some songs to make full confirmation that the song is properly produced.

Starting from the tempo,beat making process, adding instruments, recording vox, mixing and mastering are just so good.

The vibes, the message, the lyrics the settings e.t.c are nice too

The lyrics and the instrumental are just so interest to me.

So deciding to do the song is vibes on vibe.

Salute

It's Red One

(R. City)

It's Mister Lover yeah

(Na, na, na, na

Ooh, na, na, na)

Enrique and baby Serayah

Wide awake, wake, wake 'til 6AM

(Time to work)

Let me make, make, make you come again

(Ducha)

Keep it hush, hush, hush, don't tell no one

(Undercover Mister Lover yeah)

Got enough, 'nough, 'nough to turn, you on

Baby just keep it our little secret

What they don't know won't do them no harm

We can do mouth to mouth with no speaking

We can see eye to eye in the dark

Oh-oh-oh, don't you need somebody

Baby I wanna, I wanna know

To keep you up all night

Baby I'm at your, I'm at your door

Don't you need somebody

When I knock, when I knock open up

Your love and let me in

Oh, don't you need somebody

Baby I wanna, I wanna know

To keep you up all night

Baby I'm at your, I'm at your door

Don't you need somebody

When I knock, when I knock open up

Your love and let me in

Na, na, na, na

Ooh, na, na, na

(Talk to them Serayah)

Waited long, long, long to get your call

(And don't you need somebody around there)

You're alone-lone-lone you want me now

(I'm mister long night, stretch out the night)

I'mma run, run, run a red, red light

This is to your boy dprincy, also known as DMS which means D-princy Musical Studios with AFRI-TUNES WEEK#15.

On this week edition, I am going to be doing a solo cover of one of my beat.

This is one of the most interesting beat i did when i was emerging as a beat producer. Back then, i was given a name 'DPRINCY Beatz' (LOL). Funny enough i was just emerging.

I got the inspiration for this beat from an African female gospel artist name Deborah Lukalu. Was so obsessed with her pattern of music, so i decided that if i could make something out of this, its going to be lit.. So that's the instrumental with the solo..

I hope you all enjoy it.

God said he's gonna trouble the water

Wade in the water

Children wade in the water

God's gonna trouble the water

We are the sons and the daughters

We gotta stand up and make it loud

Just like our God told the Pharaoh

"Let my people go, go"

We are a new generation

From the ones who have come before

He's calling us into freedom

Let my people go, go

Wade in the water

We dey wade in the water

Children wade in the water

God said he's gonna trouble the water

Wade in the water

We dey wade in the water

Children wade in the water

God's gonna trouble the water

We are the sons and the daughters

We gotta stand up and make it loud

Just like our God told the Pharaoh

From the ones who have come before

He's calling us into freedom

Let my people go, go

We no go shy, no go shame

Ibi your papa God wey, 'e make the heavens

If you know sey you no want trouble

Let my people go, go

With blood, sweat and tears

That we've gathered through the years

If you know sey you no want trouble

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #113

With the theme INFANTIL.

In this episode, I am going to be covering a song titled Anyone by Justin Bieber.

This song has really been a song I love right from when it was realised till now.

Just kept on reminiscing about that one person i cant do without. No one except God alone.

My major aim about this song is just about the LOVE AND WHO YOU SHARING IT WITH...

The love between a parent and children are always unique.. Thought about the love i have for my parent and the one i will be having for my kids..

The lyrics and the instrumental are just so interest to me.

So deciding to do the song is like getting what I am craving for.. Tho, I am still an emerging bassist, so bear with me.

Let try and enjoy the lyrics together...

LYRICS

Dance with me under the diamonds

See me like breath in the cold

Sleep with me here in the silence

Come kiss me, silver and gold

You say that I won't lose you

But you can't predict the future

So, just hold on like you will never let go

Yeah, if you ever move on without me

I need to make sure you know that

You are the only one I'll ever love

(I gotta tell ya, gotta tell ya)

Yeah, you, if it's not you, it's not anyone

(I gotta tell ya, gotta tell ya)

Looking back on my life

You're the only good I've ever done (ever done)

Yeah, you, if it's not you, it's not anyone (anyone)

Not anyone

Forever's not enough time to (oh)

Love you the way that I want (love you the way that I want)

'Cause every morning I find you (oh)

I fear the day that I don't

You say that I won't lose you

But you can't predict the future

'Cause certain things are out of our control

Yeah, if you ever move on without me

I need to make sure you know that

You are the only one I'll ever love

Only one (I gotta tell ya, gotta tell ya)

Yeah, you, if it's not you it's not anyone

(I gotta tell ya, gotta tell ya)

Looking back on my life

You're the only good I've ever done (I've ever done)

Yeah, you, if it's not you, it's not anyone

It's not anyone, not anyone

Oh, oh, oh, oh

If it's not you, it's not anyone

Oh, oh, oh, yeah, whoa

Yeah, you are the only one I'll ever love

(I gotta tell ya, gotta tell ya)

Yeah, you, if it's not you, it's not anyone

(I gotta tell ya, gotta tell ya) gotta tell ya

Looking back on my life

You're the only good I've ever done (ever done, oh, yeah)

climbed up to the highest mountain

I looked all around, couldn't find nobody

Went down into the deepest valley

Looked all around down there, couldn't find nobody

I went across the deep blue sea

Couldn't find one to compare...

To your grace,

Your love,

Your mercy

Nobody greater...

Nobody greater than you

Searched all over...

Couldn't find nobody

I looked high and low...

Still couldn't find nobody

Nobody greater...

Nobody greater no...

Nobody greater than you

Searched all over, couldn't find nobody

I looked high and low...

Still couldn't find nobody

Nobody greater...

Nobody greater...

Nobody greater than you

Nobody can heal...

Like you can

Oh most holy one you are the Great I Am

Awesome in all your ways and mighty is your hand

You are He who carried out redemption's plan

You are He who carried out redemption's plan

Searched all over... couldn't find nobody

I looked high and low...

Still couldn't find nobody

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #110.

It is with great pleasure to participate in this week hive open mic with the theme ABRAZO MUSICAL (MUSICAL EMBRACE)

In this episode, I am going to be covering a song titled Nwoke Oma by Chike. This song speaks about what is currently going on around the world right now. That is, when you are striving hard to become someone in life no one will recognize you. But when wen you became someone great, everybody want you.

``` IN RELATION TO MUSICAL EMBRACE
```

Nwoke Oma is an Igbo language in Nigeria. To my understanding, it means someone or something special.

Musical embrace to me also means giving your all to the musical person you are and open your heart to the music you do.

Now, correlating the two together you will have "giving your all to the musical person you are, you will become someone special someday"

This Pieces is not just about the video only, but more about the song and it lyrics.

.

.

.

Let try and enjoy the lyrics together...

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #109. It is with great pleasure to participate in this week hive open mic with the theme Paper Kite.

In this episode, I am going to be covering a popularly known hymn song titled Nearer my God to thee.

So, in relation with to paper kite.... Nearer my God to thee is like having no one to pure out your heart cry and desires to except God your creator.

A song to bring him closer and nearer to you everyday. I see the song to be an encouragement to the weak ones who feels they are lagging behind and just in the mod.

This song is like a means of communicating to them to move closer to God and come out of there shells and sing to God.

This song is like a motivation to who so listen well and digest.

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer to Thee

Nearer to Thee

E'en though it be a cross

E'en though it be a cross

That raises me

That raiseth me

There let the way appear (in the moment of death, heaven is my strength)

There let the way appear (in articulo mortis, caelitus mihi vires)

Steps unto heav'n (with God's help not to be feared forever)

Steps unto heav'n (Deo adjuvante non timendum in perpetuum)

All that Thou sendest me

All that Thou sendest me (dirige nos Domine ad augusta per angusta)

In mercy giv'n (so we go to the stars, higher than)

In mercy giv'n (sic itur ad astra, excelsior)

still all my song shall be

still all my song shall be

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee (dirige nos Domine ad augusta per angusta)

Nearer to Thee (so we go to the stars, higher)

Nearer to Thee (sic itur ad astra, excelsior)

Though like the wanderer (in the moment of death, heaven gives me strength)

Though like the wanderer (in articulo mortis, caelitus mihi vires)

The sun gone down (with the help of God not to be feared forever)

The sun gone down (Deo adjuvante non timendum in perpetuum)

Darkness be over me

Darkness be over me (dirige nos Domine ad augusta per angusta)

My rest is a stone (yes we go to the stars, higher than)

My rest a stone (sic itur ad astra, excelsior)

angels to beckon me

angels to beckon me

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee

Nearer, my God, to Thee (dirige nos Domine ad augusta per angusta)

Nearer to Thee (so we go to the stars, higher)

Nearer to Thee (sic itur ad astra, excelsior)

Ooh (higher, higher)

Ooh (excelsior, excelsior)

Or if on joyful wing (in the moment of death, heaven's strength for me)

Or if on joyful wing (in articulo mortis, caelitus mihi vires)

Cleave the sky (with God's help not to fear forever)

Cleaving the sky (Deo adjuvante non timendum in perpetuum)

Shine bright like a diamond

Shine bright like a diamond

Find light in the beautiful sea

I choose to be happy

You and I, you and I

We're like diamonds in the sky

You're a shooting star I see

A vision of ecstasy

When you hold me, I'm alive

We're like diamonds in the sky

I knew that we'd become one right away

Oh, right away

At first sight I felt the energy of sun rays

I saw the life inside your eyes

So shine bright, tonight, you and I

We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Eye to eye, so alive

We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Shine bright like a diamond (ooh, oh-oh)

Palms rise to the universe

As we moonshine and molly

Feel the warmth, we'll never die

We're like diamonds in the sky

You're a shooting star I see

A vision of ecstasy

When you hold me, I'm alive

We're like diamonds in the sky

At first sight I felt the energy of sun rays

This is to your boy dprincy, also known as DMS which means D-princy Musical Studios.. On this week AFRI-TUNES week #8. I am going to be covering a song by Brymo titled Banuso. Banuso is a yoruba word which mean Talk to yourself.

This is song is not an old song neither is it new. But the major reason i choose this song is to remind us of a pattern of yoruba instrumental. How soft and touching they can be.

Moreso, The words, the rhymes, the interpretations etc are just a whole lot of lessons.

.

Bá’núsọ Lyrics by Brymo

Translation in English

Needle will go

Needle will g

K′ó nà okùn ó tó dí ò

We will not meet them

We will not meet them

Those that don't want us to get there

Tell yourself

Bá′núso

Do not tell anyone

Tell yourself

Bá′núso

Má b′enìyan só

The tears will dry

The tears will dry

Sadness will turn into laughter

Beloved

We know of our beloved

We are oblivious to the one who loves us

Bá′núso

Tell yourself

Má b′enìyan só

Tell yourself

Bá′núso

Do not tell anyone

The person that will dine with the devil

Must have a very long spoon

One that misbehaves

Will be disgraced

Diplomacy is the key to live

Bá′núso

Bá′núso

Do not tell anyone

Bá′núso

Tell yourself

Má b′enìyan só

Dear friends

Come hear this

Some words are brewing inside of me

Should i share it

Should I?

You should tell oneself

Bá′núso

I won't share it with anyone

Do not tell anyone

Hello!!! Hive open mic week #106. It is with great pleasur to participate in this week hive open mic with the theme Bicycle. I can actually say i dont know how to ride a bicycle. This is not what i am proud to say tho, but i just dont find it comfortable compare to other means of transportation. I conveniently ride motorcycles, drive cars, buses, even trailers but cant tamper with bicycle.

``` So, in relation to the theme bicycle. I thought of what i can do to at least fit in.... So i suggested to do a solemn instrumental solo on my midi and just make it speak out.
      What i am trying to achieve from this is that kind of imagination, when you are on a bicycle with your headphone or Bluetooth earbuld on you and you riding in a free highway listening to a solemn instrumental and some touch of solos on it...
```

That feeling can be waoo while enjoying the breeze too...

*I used sine Lead on purity for my solo.

Heyyyyyy.... What's up guys.

This is to your boy dprincy, also known as DMS which means D-princy Musical Studios.

Felt like ages here man. But anyways, on this week AFRI-TUNES, i am going to be covering a song by OMAH LAY titled GODLY.

But before I continue, I want to use this medium to say congratulations to everyone on the newly launched AFRI-TUNES community. This is absolutely huge and we are happy about it.

.

.

So, about my rendition today. As said earlier, I am going to be doing a guitar cover on Omah Lay song titled GODLY.

One if the major reasons I choose this song is the fact that GOD is GOD. In other word, THANK GOD FOR GOD.

Just imagine, if man na God where u thinks you go dey like diz. So, thank God say GOD NO UNGODLY.

Greetings to you wherever you are and whenever you are watching this.

This is to your boy dprincy, also known as DMS which means D-princy Musical Studios.

On this week afri-tunes, i am going to be covering a song by Magic system, tittle 1er Gaou.

I wish i could do this on my guitar but in it absence, i had to use my studio midi controller

``` The production I went online to download the song instrumental in which i started working on it. Starting from
```

The Lead solo

To the drums

To the BG organ

To bass line.

To the background solo.

Everything you guyz are heard in this instrumental was made directly on my midi keyboard and my bass guitar.

``` Well, because its afri-tunes my song selection must be based on African vibes.
```

So, choosing this song made me remember some years back when the gospel artist Tope Alabi did a song in relation to this song instrumental.

The song was one if my favorite song then cause it makes me dance lolzz.

So, i am so happy rendering this song. Cause it actually made my days when i was younger... More so, this song is related to Awilolokomba. Omooo, back then if you don't listen to these songs then you missed a lot.

But no withstanding, African songs are the best you can ever ask for anytime.

Do well to enjoy my cover on this.

```
I want to appreciate my brother, friend and mentor on this platform @obaro for his support and help. You are exceptional bro. @startstrings you sure boss. Thanks baba.
Greetings to you wherever you are and whenever you are watching this.
This is to your boy dprincy.
I know its been awhile I posted last which ought not to be. my phone got spoilt few days after i joined HIVE.
I was so disturbed cause i had no money to repair and i have to be online. All this left me worried until help rose for me. I just want to say thank you to my brother and friend who stood for me during this time.
Now i am back and ready to share what i have.
The production
This instrumental took me over 3day to cook up in my studio. Starting from
The Loop,
To the chord progression,
To the song itself,
To bass line,
To the synth,
To the brass and
To the background solo.
The funniest thing is that i actually enjoined myself making this instrumental.
Everything you guyz are heard in this instrumental was made directly on my midi keyboard and my bass guitar.
Tho i had an electric guitar but I sold it last year due to my school fee which currently left me with no electric guitar hoping to get another one soon by God's grace.
The lyrics of these songs are
1} You are my strength
Strength like no other
Strength like no other
Reaches to me.
2} Olorun to Tobi
Olorun Baba Agba
Aye o gba o
O f 'orun se Ibugbe
Aye o gba o
O f 'orun se Ibujuko
Olorun to Tobi
Olorun Baba Agba...
3} Lord you are good and your mercy is forever
Hallelujah
You are good and you mercy is forever
Hallelujah.
Do well to enjoy it.
``` Appreciation

```
I want to you this medium to appreciate my brother, friend and mentor on this platform @obaro for his support and help. You are exceptional bro. @startstrings you are the real MVP thanks boss.
