Forward Into the Past
J.C. Rede
Narrating classic tales of suspense, mystery, Sci-Fi and fiction, J.C. Rede lends his voice to the past to bring these stories into the future. All of the stories featured in Forward Into the Past were originally written as featured stories in various Dime Novels, Story Papers and Magazines of the late 1890s to the early 1930s. In the mid to late 1930s, Dime Novels began to shift in tone, but still continued through the early 1950s. Most of the focus on this podcast will be from the early stages of the Dime Novel (1890-1930) Please keep in mind that these stories are products of their time and may contain themes, words, and ideas that may not hold up well using modern ideas. Please try to keep an open mind while listening to these stories. All stories read on this podcast are in the public domain and are free to download by anyone.
