This has been a topic of controversy for quite some time now, and the question is should high school athletes get paid? Our show feels like the answer to that elaborate question is yes. If they are doing things to bring recognition and exposure to the school then they should be compensated for that. Robert Nkdemniche put Grayson High School on the map, and Travis Hunter set Collins Hill High School up for popular attention. After the athlete leaves the school will have national notoriety forever. We also discuss Coach Prime and how they are limiting his access to recruits by imposing a new rule that he cannot take pictures with them unless they are on an official visit. Lastly, we discuss key issues on why it is critical to be positive and we even give some healthy reasons how you can be happy and vivacious no matter what.

Pushing Past Prime is a play on words that lets you know intricate details about what today's podcast is about. Pushing is what I am personally doing as we have to rediscuss our book release with my team. Also, we have to look into how we will promote it and schedule things that will allow us to be more successful. Past Prime is a phrase that indicates someone should stop doing what they are doing because age has caught up with them. However, that is not how we mean it because we are discussing Coach Prime in Colorado and how they are doing a great job. But, what needs to stop is the hate that some individuals are giving this man because they are jealous of the recognition he and his team get.

Often times we have to get out of our own way in order to be successful. At times we are too comfortable to change things in our life that should not be there. But, change begins with first seeing a problem. And, after you see a problem there has to be a solution that goes along with that problem. If not you are just going to constantly see that problem and have no solution; which eventually will lead to insanity rather than results. In order to get results you have to get uncomfortable.

I had so much stuff going on today that I didn't get to post the episode until later in the day. But, I had fun having some conversations and learning things in life. By far the talk of the day was the 2 Georgia bulldog 2 defensive tackles that literally destroyed the NFL combine in Indianapolis this past weekend. I am surprised that it didn't increase their draft stock as I thought it would. But, with so many teams needing offensive linemen it wasn't many places to jump too. The NFL draft will be fun this year.
