In this episode, we get to talk about Anxiety, social anxiety, and Overthinking. For the past three weeks my my anxiety has been horrible It feels like I hit rock bottom. The main question is where does my anxiety come from? What is the main source of it? I hold high expectations of myself and when those expectations are not met I get this daunting feeling of disappointment and feel like a failure. I have been feeling very anxious about going on dates, playing soccer, being social meeting new people. It's January 1st, 2023 and these are my New Year's Resolutions For 2023. In this episode, Ismail talks about the power of independency in spending quality time alone. Recently people have questioned how distant I am from everybody but honestly, it's something that I need. There is a distinct difference between existing and living and for the past year and a half I've been in this realm of existing in my case trying to figure out who I am on my own and at times it can be very confusing. I feel like I need a hard reset on my life and wanting to spend time alone allows me to extensively start doing things that I really enjoy along with growing as individual person on views, perspectives and experiences as much as it can be a lonely confusing road. Anxiety, Failing & Self-Acceptance. I always had a particular feeling since I was a kid but I've never known what It was in retrospect I had anxiety. I recently watched the film C'mon C'mon which is a great film and I highly recommend it without spoilers. The film is about what we expect to do in the future and the fear, and pressure of fear, joy and disappointment, sadness and wonder. In my confusion and delight about the future and past, I always struggle with constant thoughts about what happened in the past or something that might happen. I talk about ways that help me to coop with my anxiety and things that I do to make me feel better. I've dealt with a lot of issues throughout the years and it's been quite a journey but decided to share and hopefully I can help some of you.
