Jozef (Jumping Joe) Sabovčík is a Slovak figure skater who competed representing Czechoslovakia. He is the 1984 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time European champion (1985 and 1986), and a six-time Czechoslovak national champion. His quad toe loop at the 1986 European Championships was originally approved as the first quad jump landed in competition, but a few weeks later it was deemed invalid due to a touchdown with his free foot.
Brandon Frazier is an American pair skater. With his skating partner, Alexa Knierim, he is the 2022 World champion, the 2023 World silver medalist, a 2022 Olympic silver medalist in the figure skating team event, the 2022 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a two-time U.S. National champion (2021, 2023), and a three-time Grand Prix gold medalist.
With his former partner, Haven Denney, he is a four-time Grand Prix medalist (2 silver, 2 bronze), the 2013 World Junior champion, and the 2017 U.S. National champion.

David Inserra is a retired teacher and head football coach at Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois. Under Inserra, Maine South football won the Illinois 8A State Championship six times.

Kenny Albert is an American sportscaster, the son of NBA sportscaster Marv Albert and nephew of sportscasters Al Albert and Steve Albert. He is the only sportscaster who currently does play-by-play for all four major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL). He is the author of the new book “A Mic for All Seasons.”

Timothy LeDuc is a retired American pair skater. With their skating partner, Ashley Cain, they are a two-time U.S. national champion (2019, 2022), the 2018 Four Continents silver medalist, and a two-time Grand Prix medalist. They are the first openly gay skater to win the pairs title at the U.S. Championships and the first openly non-binary athlete to qualify for the Winter Olympics.

Sam Auxier was elected as U.S. Figure Skating’s 33rd president in 2022. Auxier previously served as the organization’s president from 2014 to 2018. He has been a member of U.S. Figure Skating’s Board of Directors the past 12 years, serving previously as Midwestern and First Vice President and, prior to that, as Secretary. He has served as an official for more than 30 years and is an ISU singles/pairs judge and referee and sectional singles technical controller. He has also judged at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, two World Championships and served as chief referee for several qualifying competitions.
Ashley Cain is a retired American pair skater. With her skating partner, Timothy LeDuc, she is a two-time U.S. national champion (2019, 2022), the 2018 Four Continents silver medalist, and a two-time Grand Prix medalist. Earlier in her career, she also competed in single skating, becoming the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist and the 2012 U.S. Junior silver medalist.
Alexa & Christopher Knierim are American former pair skaters. They are 2018 Olympic bronze medalists in the figure skating team event, two-time Four Continents medalists (2016 silver, 2014 bronze), three-time Grand Prix medalists, and three-time U.S. National Champions (2015, 2018, 2020). At the 2018 Winter Olympics, the Knierims became the first American pair, and the second pair ever in history, to perform a quad twist at the Olympic Games. Alexa is the 2022 world pairs champion with her current partner, Brandon Frazier.
Lyndsey Fry is a retired American ice hockey player. She was a member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. She played college hockey for Harvard University. Fry competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, where the USA team won the silver medal. Fry is an analyst with the Arizona Coyotes radio broadcast team and President of the Arizona Kachinas girl’s hockey association.
88 Paul Wylie is an American figure skater and the 1992 Olympic silver medalist in men's singles skating. He is in the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame and is currently the Director of Sport for the New York Olympic Regional Development Authority.

Kelley Morris-Adair and Donald Adair. Donald Adair is an American former ice dancer. With Renée Roca, he is the 1986 U.S. national champion. An injury led to Adair's sudden retirement from competitive skating prior to the 1987 World Championships. He married Kelley Morris, the 1977 U.S. junior champion in ice dancing. They have coached at the Indiana Skating Academy in Indianapolis and the Louisville Skating Academy in Louisville, Kentucky.

Maia and Alex Shibutani are American ice dancers. They are the two-time 2018 Olympic bronze medalists, three-time World medalists (silver in 2016, bronze in 2011 and 2017), the 2016 Four Continents champions, and two-time U.S. national champions (2016, 2017). The Shibutanis have also won six titles on the Grand Prix series and stood on the podium at 14 consecutive U.S. Championships, at five levels including eight as seniors. They are two-time members of the US Olympic team, competing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. In 2018, the siblings became the first ice dancers who are both of Asian descent to medal at the Olympics (winning bronze in both team figure skating and the individual ice dancing event). They are the second sibling duo to ever share an ice dancing Olympic medal, and the first from the United States. The Shibutani siblings are often referred to by their nickname the Shib Sibs.
Brian Orser is a Canadian former competitive and professional figure skater. He is the 1984 and 1988 Olympic silver medallist, 1987 World champion and eight-time (1981–88) Canadian national champion. At the 1988 Winter Olympics, the rivalry between Orser and American figure skater Brian Boitano, who were the two favorites to win the gold medal, captured media attention and was described as the "Battle of the Brians". Orser turned professional in 1988 and skated with Stars on Ice for almost 20 years. As a coach, he has led both Yuna Kim (2010) and Yuzuru Hanyu (2014, 2018) to Olympic titles. He also coached Javier Fernández to Olympic bronze (2018) and the 2015 and 2016 World titles. He is a Skating Consultant at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club.
Nancy Kerrigan is an American former figure skater and actress. She won bronze medals at the 1991 World Championships and the 1992 Winter Olympics, silver medals at the 1992 World Championships and the 1994 Winter Olympics, and she was the 1993 US National Figure Skating Champion. Kerrigan was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2004. At the Olympics, Kerrigan won the silver medal in a controversial showdown with gold medal winner Oksana Baiul. She then started touring and performed with several ice skating troupes that included Champions on Ice and Broadway on Ice. In 2017, she was a contestant on season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.
Caryn Kadavy is an American professional figure skater and former competitor. She is the 1987 World bronze medalist and a four-time U.S. national medalist. She also competed at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
Lorrie Parker is a World and Olympic figure skating judge and a Team USA Leader. She and David were the 1970 Novice Pairs silver medalists.

Kevin Weeks has more than 30 years of experience as a golf instructor, and has had one of the most decorated teaching careers in the Chicagoland area. Kevin is ranked as one of Golf Digest's 50 Best Teachers and Golf Magazine's Top 100 Instructors, and he is Golf Digest's No. 1 teacher in the state of Illinois. A three-time Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year, Kevin has had success with players ranging from the PGA Tour to junior golf. Since 2006, he has worked with nearly 100 PGA Tour players—including 10 tournament winners—and more than 200 of his junior students have gone on to play college golf with 12 achieving All-American status. Kevin's PGA Junior League team has advanced to the national finals four times, and his high school students have won numerous individual state championships.
Allison Manley is a recovering (and award-winning) designer who applies her creative and organizational skills to marketing strategy for Kanopi Studios. Her diverse, multi-disciplinary background — which in addition to design includes glassblowing, publishing, podcasting, and figure skating — contributes to strong relationships to which she offers a broad perspective. She also considers figure skating the best sport in the world and created the Manleywoman SkateCast years before podcasting became a thing.
Dr. Gloria Balague is a preeminent sports psychologist. She has worked extensively with USA Track and Field, USA Gymnastics, and USA Field Hockey. She worked as a sports psychologist at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, and was the Team Sports Psychologist for the Chicago Bears 2015-2020.
Dr. Nicole Gonzalez Van Cleave is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Brown University and an affiliated faculty with the American Bar Foundation in Chicago, Illinois, She is the award-winning author of the book, "Crook County: Racism and Injustice in America's Largest Criminal Court." She is a Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University and is a former figure skater.
Jenni N. Meno is an American former competitive pair skater. With her husband Todd Sand, she is the 1998 World silver medalist, a two-time World bronze medalist (1995, 1996), and a three-time U.S. national champion (1994–96). Meno first partnered with Scott Wendland and won two medals at the U.S. Championships. She began skating with her future husband Todd Sand in April 1992. They competed in two Olympics and won three national titles and three medals at the World Figure Skating Championships.
Todd Sand is an American pair skater. With his wife Jenni Meno, he is the 1998 World silver medalist, a two-time World bronze medalist (1995, 1996), and a three-time U.S. national champion (1994–96). With his previous partner Natasha Kuchiki, he is the 1991 World bronze medalist.
Following their amateur career, the pair skated professionally in the Stars on Ice tour for six seasons. Meno also appeared in the 2006 FOX television program "Skating with Celebrities". Meno works as a coach with her husband. They formerly coached John Baldwin / Rena Inoue and Mary Beth Marley / Rockne Brubaker, and Jessica Calalang / Zack Sidhu. Currently, they coach Alexa Scimeca Knierim / Chris Knierim.
Sinead Houston Kerr is a Scottish former competitive ice dancer who represented Great Britain. She teamed up with her brother John Kerr in 2000. They are two-time (2009, 2011) European bronze medalists and the 2004–2010 British national champions. They placed 10th at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, and 8th at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Grant W. Marshall is a Canadian former ice hockey right winger who currently works on behalf of the Devils Alumni Association. He played for the Dallas Stars, Columbus Blue Jackets and New Jersey Devils of the NHL. He last played for the Devils' minor league affiliate, the Lowell Devils, during the 2007-08 season.
Michael Santee is David’s younger son, a former Captain in the U.S. Army, and played hockey for several minor league teams and West Point.

Michael Mersch, Jr. is an American professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League (AHL). He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 4th round (110th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Mersch previously played collegiate hockey for the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Men's Division I Big Ten Conference. In his senior year, Mersch's outstanding play was rewarded with a selection to the 2013–14 All-Big Ten First Team.
Eric Levine is an American hockey player. He is a journeyman goalie who has played for 16 teams in 8 years as a professional. Eric also owns the Midwest Goalie Academy.
Max Aaron is an American former figure skater. He is the 2013 U.S. national champion, the 2015 Skate America champion, the 2011 U.S. national junior champion, and a three-time U.S. International Classic champion (2012, 2013, and 2014).
Rockne Brubaker, II is an American former competitive pair skater. With Keauna McLaughlin, he is the 2010 Four Continents silver medalist, the 2007 World Junior champion, and a two-time (2008–2009) U.S. national champion. With Mary Beth Marley, he is the 2012 Four Continents bronze medalist and 2012 U.S. silver medalist.
Stefania Berton is an Italian former competitive pair skater. With partner Ondřej Hotárek, she is the 2013 European bronze medalist, the 2013 Skate Canada International champion, and a three-time Italian national champion. Berton/Hotárek are the first Italian pair skaters to win European and Grand Prix medals.
Rockne and Stefania married on June 5, 2015 in Wisconsin.
Elyse Matsumoto is Chair of the Dance Development and Technical Committee of U.S. Figure Skating, an International Ice Dance Judge, and Senior Marketing Coordinator for the New England Sports Network (NESN).

The Kwan Sisters - Michelle Kwan is an American retired figure skater. She is a two-time Olympic medalist (silver in 1998, bronze in 2002), a five-time World champion (1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003) and a nine-time U.S. champion (1996, 1998–2005). She is tied with Maribel Vinson for the all-time National Championship record. She competed at the senior level for over a decade and is the most decorated figure skater in U.S. history. Known for her consistency and expressive artistry on ice, she is widely considered one of the greatest figure skaters of all time. For well over a decade, Kwan maintained her status not only as America's most popular figure skater but as one of America's most popular female athletes. Kwan landed numerous major endorsement deals, starred in multiple TV specials and was the subject of extensive media coverage. From 1997 to 2005, she was the U.S. Figure Skating Association's top-paid skater in appearance fees and prize money, as well as one of the highest paid Winter Olympic athletes in endorsements. Kwan was also the highest paid skater on the Champions on Ice tours.
Karen Kwan Oppegard is best known as the older sister of figure skater Michelle Kwan. Karen is two years older than Michelle and was an elite figure skater herself. The Kwan sisters began figure skating at the same time and trained and competed against each other for years. Karen, like Michelle, was coached by Frank Carroll at the Lake Arrowhead training center. Though Karen's results never quite matched Michelle's, she was known for her long legs and arms that added a lyrical style and an elegant dimension to her skating. She also had consistent triple jumps and good technical spins. Karen also represented the United States at numerous international skating events, and won the bronze medal at the 1996 Nebelhorn Trophy in Germany. She retired in 1997 to focus on school. She attended Boston University. Since ending her competitive skating career, Kwan has maintained her connection to the sport. She has worked as a choreographer and is the skating director at the East West Skating Palace, in Artesia, California. The Kwan family owns and operates the rink. Kwan graduated from Boston University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in communications. She interned with clothing designer Vera Wang (a relative), who is noted for designing figure skating costumes and personally designed Michelle's costumes.
Philip Hersh spent 28 years as Olympic sports writer for the Chicago Tribune and has gone on to write about the Olympics and figure skating for icenetwork and NBC Olympics. He has covered 19 Olympics -- 11 Winter and 8 Summer -- seven soccer World Cups (four men, three women), 35 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 20 World Figure Skating Championships, 12 World Track and Field Championships, two Pan American Games and more than two dozen other national championships in Olympic sports.

Mark Ladwig is an American former competitive pair skater. He is best known for his partnership with Amanda Evora, with whom he competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics, placing tenth. Linda Fratianne is an American former figure skater known for winning two World Championship titles (1977, 1979), four consecutive U.S. Championships (1977–1980), and a silver medal in the 1980 Winter Olympics. After the 1980 season, Fratianne retired from competitive skating and performed in touring shows, including ten years as a lead skater of Disney on Ice. In 1993, she was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
Patrick Chan is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is a 2018 Olympic gold medallist in the team event, 2014 Olympic silver medallist in the men's and team events, a three-time World champion (2011, 2012, 2013), a two-time Grand Prix Final champion (2010 and 2011), a three-time Four Continents champion (2009, 2012, 2016), and a ten-time Canadian national champion (2008–2014, 2016–2018). On April 27, 2011, Chan set a new world record of 93.02 points for the short program. On April 28, 2011, Chan then set a new world record for his free skating, receiving an overall score of 280.98. In recognition, Chan was named the recipient of the Lou Marsh Award as Canada's top athlete. Chan is considered by many to be one of the greatest Canadian male figure skaters of all time.
Jordan Mann is a former figure skater and a nationally-certified coach for figure skating, speed skating, and hockey. He is the Facility Supervisor at the Oakton Sports Complex in Park Ridge, Illinois. He is the 8U Hockey Director for the Northern Express Hockey Association, as well as the head coach for the Express 2012 CSDHL team. He has won two AA state titles as an assistant coach focusing on skating skills, and AA state runner-up title as a 10U head coach. He is also the current First Vice President of the Chicago United Hockey League and is active in hockey administration. Jordan is a USFS double-gold medalist and former Junior Nationals competitor, who has built up a background in figure, hockey, and speed skating through 20 years of coaching. He holds an active PSA Senior Rating in free skating, as well as a Level 2 Ranking, and is the current chair of the PSA Hockey Skating Committee.
Todd Eldredge is an American former competitive figure skater. He is the 1996 World champion, a six-time U.S. national champion (1990, 1991, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2002), a three-time Olympian (1992, 1998, 2002), and a six-time World medalist.
Christopher Knierim is an American former pair skater. With his wife, Alexa Scimeca Knierim, he is a 2018 Olympic bronze medalist in the figure skating team event, a two-time Four Continents medalist (2016 silver, 2014 bronze), a three-time Grand Prix medalist, and a three-time U.S. National Champion (2015, 2018, 2020). At the 2018 Winter Olympics, the Knierims became the first American pair, and the second pair ever in history, to perform a quad twist at the Olympic Games.
John Misha Petkevich is an American former figure skater. He is the 1971 U.S. national champion and North American champion. He placed 6th at the 1968 Winter Olympics and 5th at the 1972 Winter Olympics. His best finish at the World Championships was 4th in 1972; he placed 5th in 1969, 1970, and 1971. In 1972, he won the gold medal at the World University Games. He was composer-in-residence at Eliot House, Harvard and has composed a clarinet quintet, a piano trio, a sonata for piano and a number of songs in different genres. Most of the compositions have been played in small concerts. As of 2021, Petkevich remains Chief Investment Officer at V2M Capital, LLC.
Sarah Kawahara is a Canadian figure skater and choreographer who has won two Emmy Awards. She joined the Ice Capades at age 17 and skated with them for seven years. In 1997, she became the first skater to win the Best Choreography Emmy Award, receiving the award for Scott Hamilton Upside Down. She won her second Emmy in 2002 for choreographing the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Kawahara has choreographed for numerous competitive skaters, including synchronized skaters. She was a coach and choreographer for the film "I, Tonya" and for the television series "Spinning Out."
Carol Heiss Jenkins and Hayes Jenkins. Heiss is an American former figure skater and actress. Competing in ladies' singles, she became the 1960 Olympic champion, the 1956 Olympic silver medalist, and a five-time World champion (1956–1960). Between 1957 and 1960, Heiss dominated women's figure skating. She was the World and U.S. Champion each year, and at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, California, Heiss captured the gold medal. By winning the 1960 World Championships held after the Olympics, Heiss became one of three women to have won five consecutive World Championships. She then retired from competitive skating. She is married to American figure skater Hayes Alan Jenkins, who is the 1956 Olympic champion, a four-time World champion (1953–1956), and a four-time U.S. national champion (1953–1956).

She has served in multiple roles—judge, technical referee, technical controller and team leader. Having served as assistant chef de mission for the entire U.S. Olympic team at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Tanger saw the judging scandal that beset the pairs competition firsthand. When there was talk of developing another scoring system, which became the International Judging System (IJS), she jumped in to participate in its development.

Peter Cain is an Australian pair skater who currently works as a coach. With sister Elizabeth Cain, he is the 1976 World Junior bronze medalist and a four-time Australian national champion. Their highest placement at the World Championships was 12th in 1977. They competed in the 1980 Winter Olympics, finishing eleventh. He is the uncle and former coach of Australian national champion Sean Carlow and father of American skater Ashley Cain. He currently works as a coach in the Euless, Texas area.
