Transient loneliness is a short-term, fleeting feeling of loneliness.
Chronic loneliness is generally correlated with negative effects.
The holidays are a lonely time of year for many.
Perhaps this is due to a lack of connection, distress, relationship quality, FOMO on social media, and so much more.

Recognize your feelings and plan ahead to combat your loneliness.
Try to connect to a friend or family member at least once/day.

It is driven by emotions and personal experience. As the Holiday seasons create time for family gathering it is important to be aware of personal triggers, and stressors that can contribute to conflict.
