The war between Russia and Ukraine continues to damage cities and lives at the time of this recording.  Why does Russia have such disdain for Ukraine?  Why do they feel war is the only resolution to their issues with a neighboring country?  Today, we discuss these types of questions with a Ukrainian friend and brother, Sasha Misiats.  Sasha explains that that this conflict is more of a religious war than what much of the mainstream media shares. While Sasha (Alex) is now a university professor in the US, he still has deep ties and close relationships with those back in Ukraine.  If you hear a cell phone go off during this recording, that's actually Sasha's phone giving the "all clear" from the Ukrainian government.  Before we started recording, there was another sound from his phone signaling an enemy (Russian) air raid and warning citizens to seek shelter immediately.  Continue to pray for Ukraine!
