Welcome to our new article series, Learning at SAS by Dr. Jennifer Sparrow! I am excited to take on the challenge of explaining the most important aspects of how teachers teach and students learn at Singapore American School. My goal in writing these articles is to help parents understand how students are taught at SAS, explain some of the harder-to-understand terms that SAS faculty members tend to use, and ensure that parents, students, and staff are all on the same page when discussing the SAS educational experience.
