Then, we have an update on Gov Stitt's secret plan for a new Governor's Mansion, and another new Stitt scandal with one of his political allies being indicted for corruption--this time for setting up "ghost" licenses for medical cannabis grows to allow out of state (and even out of country) interests to get their hands on the Oklahoma cannabis market. To close out, Brittany discusses the ridiculous right wing attack on schools claiming that there are now litter boxes for kids who identify as furries.
This week, Kris and Brittany discuss the state of the Governor and Superintendent races in Oklahoma, with big news about Joy Hofmeister getting a joint endorsement from Oklahoma's largest tribes, a new Stitt scandal brewing surrounding the Gov's mansion, and Jena Nelson making a great appearance on KFOR's Flashpoint. We also discuss how some states run Gov and Lt. Gov on the same ticket, while Oklahoma elects each one individually. Brittany has a brief update on the Minnesota Gov's race. Also, big news from Pres Biden on cannabis reform at the federal level.
This week, Kris and Brittany discuss what happened in last week's Oklahoma legislative extraordinary session which was needed to allocate the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The legislature passed all the funding, but required OU Health to stop providing medical treatment to trans kids. Brittany discusses the messaging that seems to be working for Minnesota Dems, and why Oklahoma Dems may want to push harder on the abortion extremist angle.
On this episode, Kris and Brittany discuss what OK Republicans are doing right and what OK Democrats are doing wrong at this point in the campaign season. Brittany has some tough love for Dems regarding messaging and fundraising. Kris provides insight from his night at the OKC Golf and Country Club fundraiser for GOP candidate for Oklahoma County DA, Kevin Calvey. Also, an update on the latest extremist legislation from state Sen. Shane Jett.
This week, Kris and Brittany discuss the Oklahoma Supreme Court decision on SQ 820, and what it means for the November ballot. Then, the topics turned to the status of the multiple criminal and civil investigations of the former President, followed by an update on Putin's continued failed war on Ukraine, and how that's playing out with his allies.
