A Seat at the Table is a podcast to gather around and share our stories. This podcast was inspired by all the times I've been given a seat at a table, shared a meal or a cup of coffee with someone, and subsequently forged this intimate bond with them through the sharing of stories. This is a practice that transcends time and culture, and takes various forms as technology changes and advances. My hope for this is to help connect humanity and create fullness of perspective, all through the ancient art of storytelling. So take a seat, get cozy, and enjoy the story!

In this episode of 'A Seat at the Table,' we hear the musings of an incredible storyteller by the name of Alyssa McGrail! She creates visual stories through her photography, and has captured the art of simple significance in her words. She talks about her "why" behind her storytelling, and includes encouragement for those who have only just begun their journey into storytelling. Give her a follow on Instagram @alyssamcgrail to hear her stories!
Hello and welcome back to A Seat at the Table! In this episode we get to hear from Jezie, an amazing friend of mine who is currently in a program called G42. In this podcast, she shares with us how her cultural background growing up influenced her values now, and shows us that an invitation into family goes so much further than just flesh and blood.
In the first episode of A Seat at the Table, I have the privilege of providing a space for Darcy Solis - my mom - to share the beginning chapters of her story. She is an incredible woman who has overcome so much, by the goodness of God, and she continuously inspires me to live my life to the fullest for the sake of following Jesus. We only just scratch the surface of her story, and already God's hand is so evident in it I hope y'all glean as much as I have from these first few pages of her life! Take a seat, and enjoy the story!
