Relentlessly, they fought an onslaught of goblin-like metallic creatures well into the night. When news of this bizarre event hit the news, however, a new kind of invasion began. Hang on, friends. In February of 1993, 27-year-old Gary Sudbrink made a surprise visit to his parents in Long Island, New York. Stationed at an Air Force base in Texas at the time, Gary opted not to tell a soul that he was heading home in order to really sell the surprise. Within a day of his arrival, Gary would receive the first of 4 bizarre phone calls from an unknown entity who ominously informed Gary that “you’re being impersonated by the other voice.” What was the true nature of these calls? But all of that would come crashing down in April of that year after an encounter with a woman who claimed to be a witch. After declining her advances, the woman told Christopher she had cursed him and that he’d die in 7 days. And 7 days later, Christopher was found deceased in his home. What happened to Christopher? In the immediate aftermath, her husband’s strange behavior was dismissed and Zona was buried with almost no questions asked. Within weeks of her death however, Zona’s mother was visited by the ghost of her daughter who informed her that she was murdered. After serving multiple prison sentences for fraud, John graduated to murder, plotting to take the lives of wealthy people who he would charm and build relationships with in order to gain access to their wealth. After killing his victims, he dissolved their remains in barrels of acid, believing the term “corpus delicti” to mean “no body, no crime.” However, it wouldn’t be long before John’s plans would be found out and he would go down in history as one of England’s coldest, most calculated killers. On the final night of the trip, however, the Bluebelle went down with only Julian Harvey known to have survived. But just as Harvey’s testimony to investigators was wrapping up, the news came in that another survivor was found, 11-year-old Terry Jo Duperrault.
