David and Bo like to read but they like to talk even more. From Brandon Sanderson to Stephen King, from fantasy to space opera, each week a deep dive into characters, plot, and predictions.
booktube #brandonsanderson #stormlightarchive This episode David and I discuss our thoughts on Rhythm of War and how it turns common fantasy hero tropes upside down. Our favorite characters, some of which only lasted a chapter. What could Shallan's secret be? Will Adolin live up to his father's image of greatness? Will he be his own man? Could Taravangian be right about Odium? We're really loving this fourth book of Stormlight Archive and kinda sad to be caught up with the series.
Reportedly the first novel written by Stephen King. Published under the name Richard Bachman, this story depicts a group of 100 juvenile walkers who are competing to walk until they can no longer. Maintaining a pace of 4 miles per hour and to stay alive. We had differing opinions on this novel but agree that it's a cult classic for good reason.
