take a peek into the lives of emerging creatives and discover how they’re following their destiny in real time. each episode is packed with impactful career advice, lots of laughs and a sprinkle of intuitive magic.
today's episode is one of my favorites so far - covering everything from finding daily inspiration within the world around you to creating genuine work from the heart with my new friend, ashlie johnson coggins. she describes the different "threads" in her life that have brought her to where she is today, and how her intuition guides her creative practice.
ashlie johnson coggins is a fine art photographer and artist from chapel hill, north carolina. she focuses on the ephemeral beauty and sublime strangeness of the natural world. her work features dimensional, painterly images that draw upon the improvisational tradition of abstract expressionism. in addition to her practice, she is part of the electro creative workshop at the clorox company, working as a senior designer for burt's bees and fresh step.
