Not actual pirates, but we take pride in looking at life, product, and leadership from fresh perspectives that might subvert the dominant paradigm. After taking a break for a couple of weeks, I talk about my blog post, "Just Enough," which is about kids, adults, and eating.
In this solo episode, I talk more about my blog post on not doubting and just doing. We all have decisions to make in our professional/career lives and when we choose one thing we forego another. What if it's possible to forego less? What if our perspective is what really needs to change?
Another solo podcast where I talk about another blog post of mine, "Ten Minutes A Day." This one is about a personal process that managers (anyone really) should practice for at least a week to see whether my assertion holds water. The assertion is: Spending just 10 minutes wrapping up every work day with a review of the goings on pays dividends.
In this episode, I expand on a blog post of mine, "The McAvoy Rating." In 2012 "The Newsroom" aired with an opening like no other. Will McAvoy (the main character) vehemently explains why America is not the greatest country in the world and backs it up with data. I took some time to revisit that data just to see whether anything's improved.
I have a decision to make that involves three opportunities. I have to choose one. I took the opportunity to write creatively about making a specific decision, and in this episode, I read it to you.

Nothing scientific - I simply offer a perspective. I also recommend a book to pick up if this sort of topic interests you. Have you ever wondered how our government came to be as it is today? Why the Constitution is structured as such? What wording might have been part of it and was negotiated out? Good title to pick up.
