First I want to say Happy New Year! 2024 is going to be an interesting year. The Lord has me in a season of unraveling. A time of undoing mindsets that I’ve adapted from the world and even the church. A time of investigating who I am becoming in the process. Sometimes fear can hold us back from accomplishing our dreams. The only requirement that Jesus ask of us to fulfill the greater plans he has for our lives is to believe in him.
Lately I’ve been asking God a lot or questions about the purpose of my life. A lot of us at one moment in time have wondered this. Let’s dive deep and figure out what we are called to do.
“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed (psalm 126:1).” Can you imagine the desires of your heart being fulfilled?! A lot of the time we can’t fulfill our dreams because we lack the faith to believe that God can help us get there. Our dreams are an extension of our purpose, the plans that God has and wants us to fulfill.
Our identities are found in who we have been made in the image of and that is God. When we know who we are and conform to the image of who we are then we experience a wholeness within ourselves and make an impact.
