“Behind the Numbers” is a podcast of the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UN DPPA) on the meaningful participation of women in peacemaking efforts. Episodes include conversations with peacemakers and decision-makers on the challenges and opportunities of the UN’s women, peace and security (WPS) agenda. Launched on the 20th anniversary of Security Council Resolution 1325 in 2020, the series continues to the present day.
The views expressed in the series are those of the interviewees, and do not necessarily represent the views of UN DPPA.
