What is Prayer? Prayer is a relationship that exists between God and His children. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35. This is the wisdom of God that is considered by many to be foolishness. Many today will not help or give to others until they have clearly understood what in it for them, because they do not believe in the wisdom of God. Faith must be built on Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of it all. It's true that the name of Jesus Christ when called in holiness and righteousness is a source of salvation, peace, healing, deliverance and all of God blessing. Since the name of Jesus Christ is a source of all that we have received, we can only maintain the later except through the name of Jesus Christ. Romans 12:1-2 If we cannot offer our bodies in confessing the name of Jesus Christ then our relationship with Christ is very much questionable. If we claim to love Jesus Christ, how can we not dedicate our time, I mean His time to the things of the spirit? Christianity is about the relationship we maintain with Jesus Christ and the atmosphere produces by that relationship.

By saying that come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. When we entertain offense this will produce grudges these will turn into bitterness, into pain of the past and these will break our communion with God and there Faith will also certainly, be killed. In Psalm 107:20. He sent his word forth and healed them and rescued them from the grave. We see this word of prophecy being brought to past by Jesus Christ in the book of John 4:43-53. The official took Jesus at his word and his son was healed and literally rescued from the grave. If you take Jesus Christ at his word, it will come to past for you too!

Saying thank you to God before and after our prayers simple pushes God to do more for us. Give thanks to God in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. 1Thessalonians 5:18. Jesus Christ simply said that you God for I know you have heard me. This was said before even offering his prayer to call out Lazarus out of the tomb and God heard Him. No one who came to Jesus Christ for a solution to their problems, was in a state of denial of their situation. The acceptance of the truth is a victory in itself. Acceptance strengthens our position in Christ through faith. 2 Kings 5:11 The commander accepted that he had leprosy and, he was healed through acceptance of truth in Christ Jesus.

The devil is using our weaknesses to connect us to himself, our unrighteousness creates a loophole for satan to have access to our lives. Let us be holy as our heavenly Father is Holy. Holiness is constantly dying to our sins and living for the righteousness of God. 1 Peter 2:24

Active and Passive Faith both strongly believe in God's Power to heal, to deliver, to save and, to bless. Passive Faith believes it is all up to God and not up to me, i have no role to play. Active Faith believes that is not all up to God and certainly not all up to me, I have a role to play in the path of getting my breakthrough in whatever, I may be seeking from God. The women with the issue of blood, practiced her Active Faith, touched Jesus Christ and received her healing Luke 8:43-48.

We need to think deeply inwardly before our prayer or meditation, so that we don't pray or meditate through the spirit of unforgiviness, pain of past, bitterness and the lack. Forgive as God has forgiven you and let your prayer be fruitful. Mark 11:25

Always remember to pray for forgiveness of what our great grandfather might have done which might be affecting us today. God is a forgiving God. Deuteronomy 5:9, Exodus 34:7. If we confess them to him, he is willing to forgive us and break every chain. Psalms 32:1-5

We believe therefore we speak and with the same spirit of faith we believe therefore we pray. 2 Corinthians 4:13. Prayer changes us, meaning our focus but faith causes things to happen. Have faith in God as prayer and your life will not remain the same. Jesus said to the blind man, your faith has healed you and not your prayer has healed. Mark 10:46-52. Have faith in God!

Forgiveness can only take place once we have acknowledged our sins and confess our iniquities without hiding any of them. PSALM 32:5. One's conscience must be alive and alert to be able to truly confess their sins and receive the forgiveness of God. It's the will of God to forgive and sanctify us. 1 THESSALONIANS 4:3.

You are the only perosn who is most hurt by unforgiviness. When we remember that we have benefited from God's forgiveness, it becomes easy to forgive others, this pave way for harmonious relationships even with our worse enemies. Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing (LUKE 23:34). We are strongly recommend to forgive others when they sin against us and we shall be forgiven, for Christ has forgiven us.

Just as the Israelites were held in captivity in Egypt by their oppressors. The devil has held so many in captivity and subject them to spiritual oppression through the sinful nature.
