Immerse is a podcast through Cocalico Community Church where our goal is to immerse ourselves into life together and we seek to live like Jesus. We'll have interviews with friends, dive into theology, and answer questions that listeners submit as we do life together.
In this episode, we kick off our summer series! I have a new guest with me, Ethan Pierce, and we jump somewhat back into our Character Formation series, but we are focusing on the fruit of the spirit over the next few weeks! As always, hope this episode is encouraging and helps you grow in your walk with Jesus.
In this episode, I explain the 4-8 standard, which comes from Philippians 4:8 as a great formative tool for becoming more like Jesus. I also take some time to talk about the situation in Ukraine and pray for God's peace and for a resolution. As a podcast that talks about theology and life, it's important to be aware of what is broken in the world and in need of God's hand to do the miraculous.
In the episode, we take a break from the current series to share with you a valuable lesson learned over the past 2 months. Life isn't always easy, many of the mountain top moments are quickly followed by struggle, so how do we find joy in those times when everything was going so well?

The main idea of this episode is what will you put in your box in the attic to move on from and what will you put in your life backpack to take with you wherever you go.
