Jefry is a young boy standing next to an airstrip in a village high in the West Papuan mountains. West Papua is occupied by the Indonesians and life is tough. When this young boy turns 15 - mum and dad want a better life for him and his little brother - that is their vision. After a year working through the wilds of West Papua, building a dug canoe and eventually getting on a boat, Jefry Yikwa arrived in Australia. 15 years later Jefry now has a critical role working as an engineer working for Boeing.
