🚶🚶♀🏞Join us on a journey of exploring perspectives and impulses on life. It allows you to experience true positive energy and a place to lean on when you struggle following through with your dreams.
🤔🖼🛣 The goal is to get you on track to follow through with what you desire. What do we provide for you? A perspective far from what you are bombarded with through daily media, a perspective that is enabling you, instead of pumping the breaks, "because things are too risky, or you can't do that".
✅⏱⏸ Allow yourself to take 10 minutes, out of your day, to come down and breathe, to pause life, to pause, “I got this deadline, I got to do that, I’ve got to ......., I’ve .......” Stop it, give yourself those 10 or 20 minutes to actually be in the moment, and not in the future (deadlines. Etc.) or in the past (I should have), put those thoughts away, grab some headphones and tune in.
🤔🙅♂ Or if not, try to take those minutes anyway and ask yourself: "What do I actually have to worry about, right now in this moment?" - I am guessing, if you are honest to yourself, there is nothing that prevents you from enjoying this moment right now. Please do it and add some quality to your life right now.
Du erfährst in diesem Gespräch:

🎧📅🇨🇷🇲🇽🚎If you followed the podcast throughout the last 6 months, you will probably have noticed, that I was traveling to Costa Rica, and Mexico. During that journey, I was fortunate to make unique experiences that will always stay on my mind. Yet I also discovered that always being on the move is not the perfect match for my personal space, my work, and my environment.
❌🏞🔋📉Having the lack of a stable environment costs me a lot of energy and caused me to not be very productive besides being in new places. Ever since I came back, I was looking for that stability, and now I have found it. For the moment, yet this will stay an important topic.
🎙🛣🔎💡During this episode, I will take you with me on that journey, and reflect on how I addressed this discovery. Of course, this is once again a topic, which will keep coming back from time to time, I hope to give you inspiration on how to address this issue, by running through my current example.
❗ Most important message: One small positive thing at the time. ➕1😊
Enjoy,
thank you for your support. 🙏

🔎❓➡️😰You might have encountered the following questions, or if not, you will probably have to deal with them at some point: 👣➡️🏫🎓👶What's the next step? I am not sure what is coming next…..
How can I deal with this uncertainty? Where does it come from?
What stage of life am I at? (Uni, end of Highschool, change of work) What does that mean for me?
❓👤🏊♂️🔭📖➡️🤔🛣🌇What do I want to do? How can I build the life I want to live?
🔎🤯➡️👤😓What pressures do I have to deal with?
What jobs, industries, experiences did I gather, or try out? Why do I like certain things? Why do I not like some things? How familiar am I with certain jobs, habits, situations?
👤🔎➡️👤🥳📈Besides running through those questions, providing the answers I found for myself, I specifically go into the following questions:
What do I like, and how did I find that?
My motivation and reward, when I am doing what I like.
🙏🎙🎧As always, thank you for listening. We appreciate your support.
🍀📅😊Best of luck to all of you. Have a great week.
💯🎙🎧👥100 Episodes Wieduwilt brothers – What happened behind those numbers?
✨🛣📉📈This episode is a very special one to both of us, as it is not just a milestone in our podcast output, but it also captures large parts of our personal journey during that time.
🎊🎙👨🏫💡To celebrate that occasion, we decided to do an interview with each other, and to unravel how we started, the challenges we faced, and the things we learned during that time.
Some of the covered topics are:
🛠🎙➡️👥What does creating this podcast mean to us?
📚🤓 🔎The Podcast, our diary?
🤩🎙❗The most important podcast episode for us.
🗣🔁👁How the interviews helped us change our own perspective.
🛤🗺🇲🇽🇨🇷Our journeys (Costa Rica, Mexico) and experiences during that time, and how they affected us.
👥📞🤗How our friend group works.
😓📲Having trouble posting, and
💎🛠🎙Our values, when it comes to creating our podcast.
🙏👤➡️😊🙏I really hope you enjoy this view behind the scenes of our podcast, and our journey. It has had quite a few ups and downs, yet we are super glad we made it to 100 episodes, and we are looking forward to publishing a few hundred more. Thank you also for your support, that is our fuel, which fills us up with motivation, and gratitude.
❌🚎✈️💬Are you familiar with this? You encounter a certain situation or challenge. You might have just missed your bus or flight, how do you go about it?
🤷♂️➡️😡🤬/🤔🔎🚖🚴♀️🚶♀️You might get mad at some things, complain a little bit, why the train was delayed, or why the alarm did not go off correctly. But the single most important piece to remind yourself of is: “All of those things leading up to this moment have happened, and no matter how hard you try to complain or blame others, you won’t be able to turn the time back”.
🧠🤬➡️🏖📉Because if you get caught up in this blaming and complaining mind you will just make the whole day much worse. Everything you will do or start already begins with: “This is stupid, I am basically just waiting for the next thing to go wrong”. Guess what, unfortunately, you get that favor granted a lot of times.
🤔➡️❌🔀🔎🛣So, fortunately, my mind gets to that realization pretty quick, even though I do have to remind myself from time to time. The second thought leads directly to: “I can’t change it, so it makes no sense to worry about it right now”, and the third thought getting in my mind is: “What are my alternatives right now? How do I reduce cost? How do I reduce risks? How can I find another way?”.
😰🤯➡️🧠🔎🔀If you know that you usually stress yourself in those situations, then this episode might give you a nice insight. As it shows how I changed my way of thinking in those situations. Or if you like to think solution-oriented already, this might just be a nice checkup on questions and priorities I include in my process, as compared to yours.
👤😊🤝👱🇮🇹🇹🇭 I am very happy to introduce today's interview partnerPhilip Peroni from the north of Italy. We got to know each other 3 years ago in Thailand, collecting intense memories, including amazing sights, as well, as a motorcycle crash. So, we really went through both ends of the joy-scale, which has led towards a short, but intense phase of getting to know each other.
🚗🗣➡️🎙After visiting Phillip in Munich last year, I knew I need to have him on the Podcast.
❗📛❗Here are the main topics, we discussed:
🗓❓🛵👤 Our backstory, how we ran into each other, where we are at in life.
🥺📈🤔💬 How to deal with anxiety?
📚📈💪 The improvement reading can bring into your life. The power of a book club.
❓🔎📚 How to learn from fictional books, novels, and stories?
🔢➡️🧠😇 How to become more mindful? (Observing yourself, and others)
❓🥳🏎➡️📈 How we motivate us? What gives us our drive?
🥊➡️🧐🧠 How envy can sneak in, especially in a competitive mind?
⏳➡️😇 The use of time, and how important it is regarding your life quality.
⌚💬➡️🚕 The quality of taking the time to talk in-depth with clients, and taxi drivers.
🇪🇺👀➡️🇨🇳 How is China, from a European point of view?
⤴️🥡➡️🏖🏞🌃 The biggest takeaway from all of those experiences.
🙏🎙🎧I hope you enjoy the interview as much, as I did. If you think any one of those topics is interesting, or you are looking for inspiration, on how to go about certain life situations, this episode will definitely provide very good insights.

🌅➡️🍁➡️❓📈Summer turns into Fall, who would have thought? I quickly go into my way of coping with bad Weather, and less Vitamin D. (Fall, Rain, Darkness, Depression, Vitamin D, Social Circle)
👨🌾🤗🇳🇱➡️🏙👥Settling in. As I moved to Eindhoven, I am getting to the joyous phase of being in a new, still quite interesting environment, yet I can clearly feel, how familiar I get with the new environment. (socially, and by location)
🇧🇾🇨🇴🇱🇹➡️💡/🤔➡️🙏Cultures, which I can already relate to, and others, which I am not informed about too well (yet). , Those encounters have given me quite a few insights, and in some cases, a lot of thankfulness.
🛣💊🆚🥃🛌A quick trip into Medicine, and good old household-recipes
🎉🤝👥🌲🌳How I will use the time I have right now, while things can still be done outside.
😴➡️🏄♀️❓🤝How I go about being comfortable (or rather stop being comfortable)
🙏⌚📈Thank you for listening, have a great week, and make the most of your time.
🤔🌃💭Do you know those moments, when you are in a place, where you can see all the lights of the city. All the little windows, car lights, streetlights. Those are moments where you can reflect very well, and that's what I did in this podcast episode.
👀🔎💡➡️👥I decided to reflect on the topic of sharing light. How do you share light? Do you pass a torch to the person next to you? Do you use a flashlight? Not quite, the sharing of light I am referring to is symbolic.
🧔🏼☀️💬😊➡️🚪🆕In a way of bringing good energy with you, and potentially opening up the room with the amount of positivity you provide. That behavior will allow you to experience things, you would never be able to, without sharing light. But how do you do that?
🎧🎙🙏😊Tune in, and enjoy this episode, as I go into my way, and experience of sharing light and positivity. As always, I hope you had a great week. Thank you for your support.
👩🏽👱🏼♂️🤝🌍🇧🇯🇫🇷In today's interview episode, I am very happy to feature Aude. We met in 2018 when my family started hosting Workawayers, and Aude happened to be one of them. So in connection with the podcast, and also to catch up in general, I reached out to her to make this interview happen. Being born in Benin, living in several African countries until the age of 11, and then moving to France has certainly provided her with a very unique perspective.
🗣🤔➡️❓Diving into the episode we unraveled a lot about her background, the personal development she went through, and where she is at right now. The following questions and points provide and insight into some of the topics we went through.
👩🏼👩🏿🇧🇯🇫🇷🤷♂️👥„I am fully both. Not white, not black, but 100% of both“. - The difficulties of being a child of a European-African family, with mixed ethnicity, and finding a place to belong. Where do I belong having a white French father, and a black mother from Benin?
⏭🚘⏭🛥⏭🏘Society nowadays seems to always be in a rush, to always compete for the next bigger thing. But! You have time! -Why can we afford to say that, and why do we emphasize so much on it?
📲👀⏳➡️❌➡️🧠👎Do know those days? You don’t really have much to do, or you may have to get something done, but somehow social media is pulling you away. Yet in this episode, we are not just focussing on the matter of inefficiency, but more on the matter of Mental health.
How is social media related to our mental health, and why is the whole topic contractionary as fxxk?
📱💵🚗💵🏡💵➡️🤒The system we live in, and how it is affecting us! In specific we dive into Payment models, and expectations of society, which drive big chunks of our generation in a direction they do not want to be in.
🤔👀👤➡️👣🛤The issue with comparing us with others. He is on the top, and it seems unreachable, but never forget he is also a human.
How can we focus on ourselves, and become more content with our development, while walking our own path?
🙏🎧🎙🔄👁🗨I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did. It was a very nice angle of looking at things from a very different background than my own. If any of the points mentioned above seem interesting to you, or you might also have entered a new environment, then I would highly recommend tuning in.
😊🗓📈🤙Have a great week and enjoy your progress.
🇳🇱🏙🏠Eindhoven is the City. City of what? The City where housing is quite expensive, but a ton of students still decides to come here. The city that has made me feel right at home in a very quick fashion. Ultimately my new city.
🤔✋🧑🏼🔎👤📈 You might be thinking hold up Franz isn’t this podcast more about personal development than the promotion of your new city? If that just popped up in your mind, you are 100% correct, and that is the reason why I use this episode to take you with me on my journey of settling in this new environment.
🔎🗣🤝👥🇱🇻🇱🇹🇺🇸🏴I specifically go into the way I was able to meet and connect with others, cultural differences I was able to experience so far and some of the following questions:
🔄🏠👥➡️🧼📝How does changing your place, your social environment cause you to get a clean record in your new social setting?
❓📝🙌➡️👤📈How can that record help you to develop better as a person?
👀👥😊🛠How can be more aware of the new social environment you start to build?
❓❓❓🔎👤🤝The questions I commonly ask, in order to identify the people I want to surround myself with.
🤔🙇♂️👨🏫👤💡How do those questions help me to learn more and more about people in general?
😍🍻👥🥳The beauty of having a social life again.
🎙🎧🔎🧑🏼💭This episode is a little more focused on my personal experiences here, so I hope you can relate to some of those questions and general thoughts.
🙏🗓📈😊👥👍As always I want to thank you for your support. Have a great week, and I hope you can establish yourself in whatever environment you are in right now.
👋🇨🇷🤔⚙️Hola de Costa Rica, this is another episode recorded here. It really focusses on my experience of arriving in a different place, and adjusting to new environments.
🧠🔄🐢🧉🏔Our body is great at adapting to those new situations, along with all the different people, and places you encounter. Yet it is not only the body which needs to adjust, it is even more importantly the mind, which needs to be adjusted to that new situation.
I specifically focus on the following topics:
❗🛬🏔🇨🇷What is important to know, when you arrive in a new environment, and how did I go about it here in Costa Rica?
🏫🗓🌎How I arranged my long term travels with my University situation?
🧒❓🙇♂️We are young, why is it important to remind yourself?
😰➡️⬇️🤷♂️How pressure affects us in certain situations?
🔎💪🔝How you find passion, and how it elevates your process?
One question that is worth asking yourself without pressure, is the following:
🌎➡️🗓Where will you be in one year?
🤝🛩🧠I hope I could take you with me a little bit on my journey, especially mentally.
🙏📆☺️➡️📈And further on as always I want to wish you a great week, enjoy, and a good start, or continuation of your own journey.
🇨🇷🛩🏖🎒Costa Rica, the beautiful country, both of us were, fortunately, able to visit this year, quickly emerged as the main topic in this episode. While Franz visited Costa Rica early this year collecting incredible experiences, and amazing friends, Joseph is looking for his own adventures right now.
🧓🎙🧔🏼❓As we interview each other we dive into our reasonings, perceptions, and learnings of our journey. This experience of us really resembles the mindset we have going outside of our comfort zone.
🤔🔍🤷♂️What are our expectations?
🤷♂️❓😱Are we ever alone or uncertain?
😍🛩👥🚙Why do we love this experience so much?
👥🗣❓🤝Who, and how do we meet?
➡️👨🏫➡️🧠Our major takeaways.
➡️👣🗓The next steps.

🏁📖❓🤷♂️Whenever you start a new chapter in your life, something you have not done before, uncertainty will be part of it. A lot of those „What ifs…..?“ arise, and you can become a little scared of the unknown because you just do not know what to expect.
🇨🇷🤷♂️🥵🤔As I am currently on my travels in Costa Rica I also had some uncertainty, which I had to deal with. So, how can you deal with uncertainty, and a possible fear, or anxiety that comes along with it?
🚫🗺🔎The first thing that comes to my mind, is the fact, that you can not plan everything. Obviously, we prepared ourselves for the upcoming travels, but you just can not control every single situation you run into, and if you could, life would be much less exciting.
🚫🇮🇩🦠➡️🇨🇷No Bali, Costa Rica it is. Some things just do not work out the way we expect. My girlfriends and my dream was travelling in Bali, to enjoy nature there and also to live on a pretty low budget, as the country itself is relatively cheap for Europeans. But COVID -restrictions crossed that plan, so we readjusted our plan and expectation which were both equally important to fully enjoy our stay now.
🙏📈🚫🕹🤨Once again the one thing that has proven to be key, is trusting the process. Sometimes you just need to give up that urge of controlling everything and instead be open to new people and situations, that emerge. And that is ultimately where the adventure lies, those moments, which you did not expect will be the ones, that stay in your mind.
🎙🤷♂️➡️🚶♂️😊In this episode, I will dive into ways of dealing with this uncertainty, which has represented itself as a challenge, that I am currently taking on. And I believe that you will encounter uncertainty not just during traveling, but generally in life. So check out this episode, if you are in a situation of uncertainty, or if you need to be reminded how that feels, and what beauty it brings with itself.
👤🗣➡️📈👱♂️You might have run into a situation, where you were you are actually trying to give advice which would be really needed by the person you are talking to, yet somehow they do not want to understand it.
🚫🤬➡️👁👀➡️🚫And I am not talking about being a smartass or trying to embarrass the other person, by showing his flaws. I am talking about a genuine discussion on an eye-to-eye level. But somehow the other person does not understand, how much your advice could help them out.
🤷♂️🤔Why is that?
🧠📈➡️🗣🚫👂Well, it could be that you are wrong, and they are in a different situation, but if you are pretty self-aware, and you come into the conversation with a positive mind, then it is likely that you are not speaking the other person's language.
🚵♀️😊🤢➡️👱♂️🤷♂️I am not actually referring to the literal language, but rather towards situations, feelings, and actions the other person did not experience, and thus can not relate to.
🗣👱♂️➡️😶So if you are telling someone: „traveling is great, it will really change your perspective on life, and it will help you to understand yourself, and your origins better“ - then the other person might understand that statement logically, but not emotionally. If they never traveled in an environment, which let them engage with locals from a different country, and culture, those words will not mean much to them.
🚴♂️🔄It is as if you are trying to teach someone to do a backflip with a BMX. You explain very carefully when he has to lean into the jump when he should start and stop rotating, how to fall, in case it does not work out, and so on…
👍➡️👱♂️🚫🚴♂️🔄The person you are trying to teach might look at you a little funny and thinks that’s great, and it sounds very logical, yet I will not do that.
❓🤔Why?
👱♂️🤷♂️🚲➡️🚫He does not know how to ride a bike. So no matter how good you explain or show that backflip, he will not be able to develop that skill, until you teach him how to ride that bike. It is the very same when you try to give any other advice to someone, they might understand it logically, but if you do not reach them at the level of thinking, and with their current value system, they will not show any action, or even agreement.
❓🗣➡️👱♂️💡➡️🚴♂️🔄How can you speak that other person's language to reach them, and to pick them up right where they are at?
🎙📈🙏🎧🗓👍Tune in to my most recent podcast episode, as I go right into the topic. I think this is something which could avoid many arguments, and it will help you to provide your advice much more efficiently. Thank you for listening, and your support. Have a great week.
🎙👱♀️🇨🇱🇺🇸In today's interview, I am joined by Tamar Sharony. She was born in Chile and lived there for the first ten years of her life until her family moved to Florida. Another ten years later her family moved within the USA to California, making her a little bit of a nomad, as she never stayed somewhere too long. Having that background she adopted to seeing her family as an anchor, rather than a specific place.
🔄💪🧠Apart from her physical journey, she also lived through a quite journey mentally. From 16-18, she had a hard time and found herself experiencing depression and anxiety. The key to turn things around was meditation, and spirituality as it helped her to
🧘♂️🗓🤲🃏As she practiced every day doing breathing work, mantras, and the more she did practice those things, she kept on feeling more and more contempt for herself. As she became more known with those practices, she began to add Tau-Cards which worked with for six years now reading for herself, for friends, and family. Those cards represented a tool allowing her to connect with the universe a to remind herself, that there is a higher power (however you want to call it), and that she is not alone when facing an existential crisis.
After covering her background we dove right into the following questions:
🤔🧠🕵️♂️How did she find out, that she basin a difficult state?
🤝👤🏥How, and why did she take her first steps towards self-healing?
🏞➡️📈How her personal journey continued?
🔎😖👁How she found out, where her anxiety was coming from, and how she dealt with it?
🥵📈🩹👆How unpleasant the process of healing is, yet how important it is.
🌋🔄🏞How you go through different stages and vibrations, of development, as it is impossible to always be on a high level of energy.
❌🤨➡️😊How to deal with expectations?
🌄➡️👱♀️➡️🏞How your environment shapes you?
🤔✅🔄👁How thinking solution-based can change your whole perception.
🎪➡️👁➡️👀Events, that really shifted Tamar's perspective.
🚫🙇♂️👼Do not forget the little moments!
😊😇🚙✈️🇪🇺The best, and most memorable moments on her journey.

👱♀️🔄🗓💪🧠Today's interview guest is Avital, and as she is changing every day instead of going into her past to describe herself we went right into the interview and went through the following topics. All of those points have immense power when it comes to mental health and personal development.
❓👁👤How did she become more self-aware in the first place?
❤️👤➡️👥🤝The role of self-love in that process of becoming self-aware, and how others helped her get to that.

🙏📆📈As always have a great week, may the right things come to you. Getting to know people and their stories energizes me.
🗣👥➡️😊Not sure if it is just me, but especially while traveling in small groups it is a complete game-changer, once you open up for conversations, and events with other groups. As that has been happening to me right now, I felt it would be a great opportunity on how that impact can look like, once you open up.
In this short episode I go into:
⏲👥🤝Recent things, especially the amazing people I have met.
🤝🏴🇪🇸👁⚽How I met English Spanish couple by just watching the soccer game together in public. And it resulting in a great night with them, and a nice morning with an American friend
❓👤😊🏃♂️How, Why, I met those people, and why it made me feel so alive again
🔓➡️👣🧠Open up and those things will come to you. Obviously, it depends where you are at. I also have harder times connecting with random people in Germany (might be a cultural thing?) But whenever I go somewhere I feel so welcome by others just by carrying good vibes, being flexible in my planning, and having an open mind. Tune in, if you feel like you should go out there in a more open manner to experience some adventures.
🙏🗓👍➡️🤝As always I hope you had a great week, and I hope I could inspire you to go out there and from time to time just seek situations, that allow you to get to know great people.
🇪🇸✈️❌🤪I am in Spain right now with a couple of friends and thus I have made quite a few unique experiences. Yet for some reason I was not too excited going into this trip, or even attending it.
❓<💵/🦠Why? Because I kept on coming up with excuses like „I am saving money for a bigger trip“, or „There is so much stuff that has to be done“ and so on and so forth. Well fortunately I was wrong, and now I am having a blast over here.
So today I am addressing:
-🏋️😌🧐How to overcome your comfort zone,
-❓💸💎Why it is worth to do so
-🤏🤦🤷♂️Things that are holding you back
-➡️🧠😕The influence of your thoughts
-👉🏻🏡❌🔄What happens if you stay in your comfort zone
😊🎧🎙🗓🙏Enjoy this episode and look out for things where your ass might just be a little too stuck towards your comfort zone. Have a great week, all the best wishes for you!
🎙🗣🇿🇦🏘Today's interview partner is Sizwe Madzeni Nyanga from a small township east of Johannesburg South Africa. His passion is coming up with creative ideas to solve personal and communal challenges.
🛤🏫🤔➡️🎨His journey started back in high school when he was studying visual arts and learned about what’s possible. Having that experience and coming back to his hometown he really felt that there were no art centers or other cultural amenities where artists could meet and exchange their ideas. Having finished Highschool he wanted to change that, and contribute in a way of community activism to provide places, that could offer that exchange.
📈👩🎨👨🎨🏠🖼This effort developed into a movement called „legalize arts“, and together they managed to arrange a House from a friend who was staying alone, which then was turned into an art center called „art-hub“. Once it was established exhibitions and exchanges were continuously offered. Further on they developed a strategy to invite tourists to visit those towns, to be able to experience the rich culture.
⏳🗓🎓🖌After 4 years of working on those projects, he has found an opportunity in an art-, and advertisement-school for young creative people. This education helped him to learn the strategy and proper technical implementation of marketing means. Having finished with a major in multimedia, he discovered that this might no be the thing he wants to work in.
🔎👁🛤👤➡️🇲🇼To find out more about where he wants to go in life, he decided to backpack to Malawi and to create a body of work. Based on those experiences he wrote a book about his journey. With only 130 USD support he decided that he will be able to pursue his dream of arts, instead of giving in to his parents' idea, of becoming a doctor or lawyer.
🤔❓🎤Further in this episode, we go into the following topics:
-💪👁🗨📈The power of imagination
-🔁😰➡️🎵🎨The role of worry in daily life, and the importance of arts, and music
-🎒🚶♂️🎭The cultural experience of backpacking
-👏🤝👥The help of others during his journey
-🙇♂️💡🛤🗺The biggest realization during his journey
-↪️🥳The turning point to get happy
-👎👉👥The negative effect of social norms
-🤔💸🆓How he wants to set up his financial freedom
-🧘♂️➡️👁🛣How can we center ourselves to have a clear vision of our path
🎙🎧👁🌍👁🗨➡️💭This interview once again resembles a unique perspective, which is quite different from our western views. Bearing that thought in mind, it shows you what is possible once you channel your imagination into action. If you feel like things are just not going your way lately, then this is probably a good inspiration for you.
😊🗓🙏👥🔎👤Once again, we wish you a great Sunday and a satisfying week. Thank you for listening to the podcast, together we can find ourselves.
👨👩👧👧🚸🏫❌📈Most of us are raised in a way that we experience some standards we go through, like kindergarten, elementary school, and high school. Those are commonly the first 3 big sections in our "western"-life. Those three parts will have a major impact on our development, along with our family's education and our culture, yet I think they are not designed to bring us to our maximum potential.
🤔👉🛤--> 🏘🚘=🏅After those main stages of our early life, we start to choose paths more or less freely. Uni, or not? Gap year? What kind of Job?
There are a lot of questions, and many seem to be influenced by what is being displayed around us. Money, big cars, and materialistic values are commonly displayed as "you made it, life is easy from here on", but as you start looking closer at people that achieved those things, they do not seem to make them happy for long.
🧠-->🎙❓With that in mind, I took today's episode to dive into the following questions:
-⛳🛥🚁➡️❌😇Why are those materialistic milestones not the final answer to our journey?
-🤑➡️😣The flaw of adapting very quickly to new standards.
-🤔🎮➡️❌🤗Why this system might just not be designed to make you happy within it?
-❓👤➡️✅🏁How to finally win the game of life! ->In my opinion
-➡️💡🤗How to get closer to that idea, that can fulfill you more than any materialistic thing?
-❓❌🚘🤗Is it wrong if I do not want to measure success in materialistic things, but I still want to drive a fast car?
📆➡️🛤😅➡️🙏👁Today's, very long episode is an approach to take you on a journey, which goes through difficult situations and questions everyone will have to face at some point, I hope it helps you to reflect better, and to put things into perspective.
🤔😯🤗/➡️👥➡️😠Today's episode is supposed to be a little reminder for you to be more conscious about kindness in your life. I think it is one of the most remarkable abilities that you can put out there, especially if you are around others. It is nothing new, but especially within the last weeks, I have noticed that there are quite a few social environments, that seem to be pretty mean to one another, which just leads to a very negative vibe.
🔀👤🏋️♂️➡️🤗This could be influenced quite a bit if you just start putting in the work to be more understanding of others, and you start abandoning your ego a little bit and decide to be more down to earth when it comes to social interactions. I am trying my best to approach every person with that same kindness, even if it can sometimes be hard, and you have overcome your prejudice towards that person. That is not always easy if you are honest with yourself, but I want to encourage you to really try.
With that in mind this episode focusses on the following topics:
-🤔⏳➡️👉Why it is better to judge later, and why we seem to have such a struggle with it.
-🔎⌛➡️👉Indicators of you making quick judgments
-❓🛤➡️🤔🤯How, and why to go away from "he is an axxhole, towards why is that behavior triggering me?
👥🗣👎🤬🎙🎧If you find yourself in an environment, that seems to be spreading pretty negative vibes, or that just seems to be much harsher, than it could be, then this episode is definitely one worth your while. It will also help you if you seem to be unable to find connections around you.
🙏📈🗓💪Also, I wish you a great week as always, and all the energy you need, to grow into the next better version of yourself.
👥🙏➡️🤗❌👤💡Todays interview partner Maddi, has been a people pleaser for a very long time, and chose what ever made other people happy over my own actual interests.
Why would someone do that? Well, it can sometimes be very tought to dismantle that behaviour, as it became like an automated mechanism, especially during highschool.
👣🛤🤔📹🗣🧐Having gone through that journey, she decided to start a Video project facing that urge, to please others, rather than doing things, that would please her. As a result it has brought attention to a lot of people, who spoke up to her and started to relate to her story and position, which was surprising, as she thought it was only something she was concerned with.
🤬➡️👥🌎She quickly realized, that this seems to be an issue that is very deeply anchored in our society. Just to give a few examples for Maddi that way of people pleasing in highshcool meant:
👗👁👍/🎵/👩⚖️"The way she dressed, the way she was acting, the interests she had, the music she was listening to, the carrier choices that she was aiming for" --> none of the ways she was following actually represented what she was feeling, and what choices she would have taken if she just followed her own ideas.
🥱➡️😬🤕It sounds easy, but it takes a lot of currage to live up to your own dreams, as you expose a lot of voulnerabilaty.
👥🤏📲-->🤯As this matter of following societies expectations seems to be a big issue, especially paired up with social media exposure, we dove into the following quetions which might be very interesting.
They will help you especially if you sometimes have the feeling that you are not sure if you are following what you want, or if you are following what others are expecting from you:
⏳🔀How and when did you realize that you needed to change?
🤔➡️👥👍➡️✅How people seem to get into this thinking of external approval?
🔎👤💎How to analyse and set you own values?
🏫➡️🤼♀️🏃♂️The effect, of social tiers in highschool, and how students seem to chase for their place.
😧➡️🔀The influences which made her reconsider herself.
🤔📭🧠How to keep an open mind towards growth.
🗣❓🤔The main question everybody should ask themselves, if they did not do it already.
✖️💥➡️👤What can be initiating factors for going on that journey of getting closer to yourself?
💡🔥🎙👱♀️💗👱♀️This inspiring interview from Maddi is a very nice and personal report on that journey towards finding herself, selflove, and the inner strength. It is definitely something everyone who currently is in highschool, or who just left it, should listen to.
🙏👏👌➡️📈Thank you for your support, and all the best for overcoming your current challenges and reching your goals.
🧠🤔👀Mindset, thinking, visualization.
👥😅🏋️♂️🤔➡️✅Most people are struggling in some areas, all the way from their relationship, their income, towards losing weight. There are a lot of things we want to reach, but it will not just happen along the way, it takes a lot of effort. And it is very easy to be distracted, thus in my opinion all major changes should start with your mindset. How do you think about your challenge? Are you thinking solution-oriented?
🧠🔥➡️🗓😂Keep in mind, 99% of challenges you are facing today will be irrelevant in 1 year, 5 years, or 10 years. This does not mean, those challenges are irrelevant today, but you will move on and look back at it, as an experience, or development. Obviously, there are few exceptions, of challenges, that stick longer with you, yet it is pretty rare.
🙇♂️📸/👣🔀/❓😅/❗🧠/❓➡️📈The main thoughts I focus on in this episode are the following: What are the first steps to change your current situation? How do I approach those challenges, which might seem overwhelming now? What are important things to keep in mind? How you can get around others limiting you, and how can you reduce limiting yourself?
👂🎧 🎙✅➡️🤔❌Check out this episode, if you are sometimes thinking along the lines of: „This would be awesome, but I guess it is not meant to be for me.“ I know there are probably 50 different „entrepreneurs“ out there stating mindset is everything, and after 3 months you will be driving a Ferrari, but this is not what this Episode is aiming for. I just want you to closely watch how you think because you might be limiting yourself, just because you can not picture which possibilities you actually have.
🤗📆👍Enjoy your week, all the best wishes from Joseph.
➡️📆❓🧠Throughout the last week, I have been working quite a bit in marketing research for my mother's company, and while listening to interviews with our prospects I was quite impressed by how much I learned. This sounds obvious but I truly was. So, I started wondering why we tend to assume so much, instead of just asking, what’s on somebody else’s mind.
❌🔎🏢⤴️👥I am not referring to just market research but rather to our personal life. There are so many arguments based on wrong assumptions only. Starting off with the simples things like: “I thought you would a bring some snacks with you when you go shopping“. Anything like that will potentially trigger a disagreement simply based on different assumptions.
👁🗨🗣🧊Facing those situations with clearer communication will decrease potential misunderstandings immediately. If that doesn’t work, then it might also help you to understand and select the people around you by asking the right questions, and understanding somebody else’s behavior.
👀🤔🧠❌Along with that topic I have closely watched my thinking and discovered that some thoughts keep on coming back which I did not want on my mind, as they pulled me down a little bit. So I go quickly into the way I change that thinking.
🗣📆👌🔥Last but not least I have put in my phrase of the week, as well as the one sentence that has really fired me up this week. So, check out this episode, as it will serve you as a nice reminder to watch yourself closely, as well as I go into the way I am doing it.
👩🏽💻👓🏢Charu Thomas is our guest in today’s interview, she is the founder of Ox, which was called Oculogx until the end of 2020, and she brings a very unique entrepreneurial perspective. Her company provides the tools and strategies to improve the supply chains of retailers, and the company does so well, that she as the entrepreneur behind it, made it into the Forbes 30 under 30 lists in 2020.
❓🐂📈❓But what is it that Ox actually does?
Well, it builds the tools retailers need to transform their brick & mortar stores into micro-distribution centers. In simpler terms, their technology is improving the supply-chain of retailers, in order to compete with giants like Amazon, as deliveries are expected to be faster and faster. Among her clients are the likes of Walmart, Google, and Newell Brands. Not just the 30 under 30 list is proving her success, but also the actual improvements the company delivers, such as a 2600% increase in ROI of one of her clients.
👩🏽💥🤔➡️🧠As she has made quite an impact so far, it might be hard to imagine, what major points lead her towards taking the bold decision of founding her own company, as well as running with it so successfully. So, this podcast will focus on exactly that, the person behind such an operation. In order to give you an insight into her thoughts and ideas throughout the process we focused on the following topics, and more:
❓👩💻How does someone become such a big tech entrepreneur
❓👀➡️🗓What is the vision, of someone making such big steps in the tech industry?
❓🤖🧬🗓What role are cyborgs, a mix of biological organism and machine, playing in her vision of the future?
❓😊🔎What were her motivations and inspirations?
❓💎🤝🐂What are the company values of Ox?
❓🔎👨🏫👩🏫How did she find her mentors, and how did they impact her?
❓🔄🆕🥅How to be able to continuously reach bigger goals?
🔑👣🏗🏢Key steps to building a business.
🤔👩🏽🎧🎙If you want to find out more about Charu Thomas as a person, and her perspective, or just get to know more about the mind of someone, who has made a big impact in the tech world, then this interview holds a ton of inspiring ideas and learnings for you.
🤔⏳➡️👤🔁How much time do you have to make your impact? I have found a very nice abstraction, which presented 100 years, so an above-average lifespan in weeks. This resulted in 5218 weeks, which we have to live. If you look at that critically, you already spend 1720 weeks sleeping. Furthermore, you will find that throughout the first 20 years or so, you have to follow the path you are born onto. Not many life decisions are made by you, as you have to go to kindergarten, school, and you most likely live by your parents.
🗓👨👨👦👦⏳So, on average first 1043 weeks have already passed until you can make your decisions 100% by yourself. This is the time, where you might be taking 100% or 90+% of responsibility for yourself. It also means that you will have spent the most time with your parents already, you might see them now 2-5 weeks a year, if you live by yourself, so you will never see them as much as in your first 18-25 years of life. Are you aware of how much time you are spending with your loved ones, not just family, but also friends?
🛠🗓🤗❓Another 600 weeks will be the time you spend on average at work, that’s pure working hours, no transit, no vacation. So, as you will probably be spending 45+ years working, it should be the main priority to find something that is making you happy. Otherwise, you will spend one-third of your life between 20 and 45 workings, in a job which does not fulfill you, while sleeping another third, leaving you only one-third of your time to do the things you desire.
👉🥱⌛If you catch yourself saying: “Oh I will do that later, I will visit that friend later, I will go on my journey around the world later….”, just be aware, do you have the time, and when will you actually get to it.
🎧🎙📈⏱This episode focuses on exactly that, how you can use your time more efficiently, and become aware of what might actually be important to you. If this topic means something to you, and you wonder how to manage your time more aware, then I can strongly recommend you to listen to this episode.
👀👤⏳/⌛I have been watching myself lately and figured that even though a day obviously has 24 hours, it seems that those days vary in length. Looking at my own example of comparing the perceived duration of my days in Costa Rica and Mexico towards being back in Germany.
🤔🏞=⏳I 🏠=⌛Of course, the duration of the days just felt differently, but I was wondering why some days seem to be just flying by, while others seem to be much slower. And I came up with the reasoning, that days, in which I experience memorable adventures, or just something out of the normal daily order, feel much longer. Those are also the ones, which I remember, when I think about „What was I doing back when …..“, it will almost always be something out of the ordinary that pops up on my mind.
🙇♂️🛠🌅So with this episode, I want to share my idea, on how to create those memorable experiences, to extend your days, and to keep them more exciting, especially in times when Europe is coming up with new regulations.
🦻🎧🎙⏳✅So check out this episode, if you have that same feeling, that your days are flying by right now, or if you are familiar with it, and want to find a take, on how to extend them.
🛌⏰🚶♂️Wake the fxck up right now!
📩👤💀💊🔁That was the message Lex Beusink received, when one of his close family members died, while he was a drug addict and his girlfriend was cheating on him. And it hit him like a concrete wall. That was the point where he knew he could not move on that way.
🔎👥🤗And he found a caring community, which led him to the following discovery: “A human soul needs empathy compassion and love”. There is no one size fits all, when it comes to mental healing, or further growth development, as it is all about you, and your values as an individual.
🎧Further on this podcast goes into:
👊📜Core message:
❤️👤🔎„We have an infinite amount of love and capability within us, but it needs to be tapped. Most of us life with the believe, that they are imperfect, take a leap of faith and discover that you have all you need within you!“
🎧🎙🧠👨⚕️This interview is personal, and it offers very relatable points to go into and think about, so I can strongly recommend it, as most likely 99% of us have gotten in touch with mental health, or growth development throughout the last months. Check it out, as it gives so many helpful insights about mind work, development love and community.
❌⏳🗓🔁 Let it go —> don’t waste your day, due to something, that happened yesterday, your mood will not change what happened.
😵🧐👍➡️👤 Ignore them: Concentrate on getting the life, that is best for you, not for others. Even family and friends can influence you in a direction, which might not be yours. Gather people around you, that help you to strive for the goals, which really make you happy.
➡️⏳⛑ Give it time: Time heals everything. Whatever you are struggling with, many times it is just important to let things fall into place. Don’t underestimate what’s possible in a few years.
👤🪞👤 Only compare yourself to the person you were yesterday. Don’t underestimate the power of reflecting where you were, and where you are at now. Figure out in which direction you are moving, and if you don’t like it change work on the things you want to improve one by one.
🤙😇📈 Stay calm:
Don’t stress yourself about not having everything figured out, you will when the time comes. Trust the process.
➡️👤➡️😊 It is on you:
You are the only one in charge of your happiness, no one else is responsible. Don’t fall into the trap of blaming situations, or people, it will never get you closer towards that happiness. If you don’t like the situations you are in, find out how to change it.
🤗😁🎊Smile:
Life is short, enjoy it while you have it. There is no unlimited amount of time that we have. So make the most of it and appreciate the little things.
🏫➡️🇨🇳👩💼❌🇦🇺Towards the end of Highschool, Lorena Tordoya Henckell felt the urge to get to know new things and to grow. At the time her objective was to become a successful businesswoman along with a nice penthouse, nice clothes, and all of the things that come with it. Her first thought was: let’s go to China, learn Chinese, and set me up for the international business world. But a friend convinced her to go to Australia instead.
🇦🇺👩💼⁄🌄🚗🦘This decision of traveling to Australia has really been putting the business idea aside and filled up the hole with a whole new world of life experiences. Spending the time abroad has shown her a whole new side about herself, which she has not discovered in Highschool yet. Once those new discoveries unraveled, she changed her mind about needing those designer clothes, and the nice penthouse, she pictured, before leaving Germany.
👩🌾🍏>💵During that time in Australia, she was working quite a few jobs, to earn some money, as her budget was quite tight. But this exact struggle enabled her to see that it is not money that is determining happiness, but experiences and good people around you. After her friend went back home she was really able to experience true kindness when she was completely broke, looking for a job.
➡️👥🤗🤲She found new friends which were incredibly humble, so much that they took care of her, by sharing their food, and even sharing some of their earnings, just because they saw her situation. The biggest realization after her Australia experience was: “I am just getting started with traveling“
Further on in this podcast, we address the following:
-😊➡️👥Happiness, how to share and attract it?
-😅🏞👉🤪How to allow yourself to be you, and express your true self in the right environment?
-🦠➡️📈How to turn the corona-situation into positive learning?
-🧠❌🍔How get your mind off thinking about food?
-🔎❤️👉👤How to find your self-love?
-🗣🙍♀️😞➡️💪How to go through those daily little confrontations which you get as a woman?
-❌👥➡️ 👤How to deal with loneliness?
🎧🤔👣If any of those topics speak to you, or even if you are just considering taking some steps in a similar direction as Lorena, then this might just be the right episode to listen to.
😊🏙👍🤗Enjoy your day, all the best for you, and your chapter. Keep your stoke boosted and share kindness.
👥📈✅❌My brother and I have been taking a lot of opportunities, and we have probably not taken at least an unequal amount. But how do we decide if something is worth pursuing and when it is time to leave. How many times have we judged wrongly, and what does it take to actually pursue this idea you got in your head or this chance that is being presented to you.
🧩🛣➡️👨💻Further on a big part of my life has been build around my projects, my opportunities, and this might apply to you as well, so I dive into the following question: How can you involve such a big project in your life, especially if you have a job that is responsible for feeding you, as your project most likely doesn’t pay you right away?
👀🙇♂️👨🏻🔬❓Also, I go into my very subtle and simple advice on how to find that thing that suits you perfectly. One thing right away, it will probably not be the first thing you try out. Hold yourself accountable for why you want this opportunity to become a reality, as this is one of the most important drivers to go back to this thing day by day and to put in the work necessary.
👍🎧🎙📈I can really recommend this podcast to you if you are trying to figure out where you go. This episode might not fuel you with an answer right away, but it surely gives you some of the most important questions you should ask yourself when seeking an opportunity.
🗓🙇♂️🥅👥Today's episode is a little reminder, as I was just thinking about my goals and checking in on some of them. While I was at it, I thought it might be a nice reminder for some of you as well.
👀🏁🥗🧠💵🌄So I present my sections, in which I am willing to put up my goals. For me, those are:
🧩‼️📈Each category has its own importance, and it should be measured within specific time sections.

🌯🚮🌎🇮🇩 As food waste all around the globe is a big issue, as 1/3 of all food in the world is being thrown away. Merijn has decided to actively make it his job to do something against it. He was sensitized early on, by having parents from Indonesia where food was handled differently and more carefully.
🍚>👤🇧🇪👨🍳 Along with that mindset food has always played a big role in his life, starting with the home-cooked Indonesian meals, and later on by starting a practical training to be a chef in Belgium, and also worked in a kitchen during his studies. While being in the hotel-management-school, he came across the organization “Slow-Food”, which focuses on enjoying, and appreciating food much more, than the Fast-food-scene.
🍽👀➡️❓As we go into the topic of being more aware while eating, we cover the following questions.
🍽🌯👀What does it mean to eat food more aware?
💨<👣How can you reduce your carbon footprint?
➡️🚮❓What is the impact of food waste?
📲❌🗑What services are available, to save food from being thrown away?
👀📆🤔What to look out for, when deciding to throw food away, or to keep it?
🗣➡️🧠While food is not everything we cover in this podcast, we also touched on the following topics:
❓🥅 How to set proper goals?
🗺⏭How to create a structure that helps you to reach those goals quicker?
💯➡️🤔 How to deal with not being 100% where you know you could be?
🇩🇪🔀🌍 How a different culture helps you to reflect much more on yourself?
❓🗣👌 How to learn a language most efficiently?
👨🏫>🌍 The biggest learnings came from living abroad.
❓✅👨💻 How to find the right mentor for you?
🎧🎙🍖 Check out this podcast, if you want to become more aware of food, or also if you just want to challenge yourself to go out of your comfort zone.
❌👨💻🏡🚗 What happens when you have 10 million in your bank account? Do you decide to just not work anymore? Did you find the passion you were looking for? Are you just spending the money on cars, houses, and other expensive and extraordinary stuff?
Or do you find YOUR purpose?
❌💵➡️😨 The thought of not having money can lead to anxiety and could create fear which leads to the questions: How I can afford the next rent payment? How can I go on the next vacation? How can I buy food with ease? Can I have the same standard as my friends? (comparing with others based on where are they are at in life and what they have compared to me)
❓❌😨 But the question is what would happen if those fears don’t exist anymore? What would you do all day? This morning I was triggered by this question, and I like it because it made me think: What would I do if I could do anything?
🎧🎙🗣Feel free to check out today's podcast. I think this question can also lead you to a lot of very interesting thoughts and could bring you closer to what you want. Enjoy the episode and I’m always looking forward to getting your feedback and option.
Thank you. 🙏
🔊🙄👨💼/🏝 This might sound super pathetic, but finding the right balance is often key to find your place of happiness. And that goes for almost everything, starting with the classic “work-life-balance”, going through finding a balance in your thinking process.
🔎👤🔀⚖️ In my understanding, every individual has got to find their own margin, their own measurement of their balance in life, because it is not always 50/50, and definitely not the same for everyone, as we all have different requirements for our happiness.
🗣🧑🏻🦱👍 While talking to Ruben, who was on the podcast before by his artist name Cxsinensis, we happened to touch on the topic of balance and how it affects all parts of our lives. I felt it could be valuable to share those thoughts.
🎙🎧❌🧠 So this episode is the right one for you, if you are missing your balance, or if you don’t have anything that’s coming to your mind when you think of balance.
🗓🎙⛪In today's interview, Joseph's friend Jaren from Highschool in Texas is sharing where the last 5 years took him, including his very powerful time of a two-year mission for the Mormon-church.
🙇♂️📚🩺🚑As of right now, he is trying to figure out life in general, but as a career, he can see himself in the med-field, as a physician assistant. Yet during his highschool days, he figured out that he really liked talking to people. With that in mind, he went on his mission for two years where he could get to know a ton of new people.
🇺🇸🇪🇸🤝👥During that time he went into a Hispanic area in California and messed up a lot of times saying things he didn’t mean to say, due to his lack of language capability. Yet as people could see him struggling he received more help and understanding from the community, in which he ultimately was integrated more deeply than he imagined. Besides learning Spanish the second challenge came along, through the ban of communication towards his parents, which is only allowed to contact twice a year.
😒✍️🧠Thus he experienced some times when he found himself quite alone and depressed, and as he went through some of those moments he started to monitor himself, and how he was able to go back towards a mindset of happiness. As a result, he wrote down his life vision, which became the simple but powerful center of his mission, and life.
👣➡️😍„This life is meant to be enjoyed, just recognizing and taking all the opportunities and situations around us, will contribute towards finding your purpose “ - that is Jaren's key towards figuring himself out. And it thrived from a background of meeting heartbroken, challenged people, experiencing losses due to gun violence, or deportation.
🙌➡️😇👤The one thing that can keep them going is faith. Not necessarily in the church, but into a better future, and that faith will build the foundation of a better life. This perspective didn’t just show him, that people need faith to hold onto, but it also helped him realize, how blessed he actually is. Once he realized that, it was one of the most humbling and understanding moments of his life, to just self-reflect and realize how good life has been to him.
🙏📈💡👥So the biggest lesson for him was to never lose himself and his belief in a better future in the time of trial and challenge because once you do lose faith, it will become reality. One of the biggest things he worked on, was writing down all the moments, in which he could inspire others and share hope, as it is probably one of the most rewarding things, he could ever experience.
🗣❓-->❗Some of the most important points in this interview are the answers to the following questions:
❓🙏📈 How can you install that belief of things going to be better?
❓👁👨💻 What is a life vision to live and work by?
❓💠👤+🤯 How can you constantly reflect on yourself, your progress, as well as all your most impactful moments in life? ❓❌🔂-->📈 How to not change, but become a better person in life?
❓❌👤➡️🤝👥 How to accept, that you can’t go through life by yourself, as you sometimes just need another person, a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, to get back to your best shape.
🗝💬🛣 His key advice on life!
❓⏱🤔Have you ever taken a moment to really think about what happiness means to you?
🔗📈😊This is related to some other things like success because as I define it, the ultimate success is to be happy where you are at in life.
😊❌=🌎But happiness doesn’t mean the same to everyone, and some, if not most people are being more influenced by society, and culture, than they know.
✈️🧳🇨🇷🇲🇽And especially on my journey here I have experienced different perspectives on happiness:
🤔🏎🏠💵 Some believe certain things will make them happy until they reach whichever goal they set, and often times it doesn’t feel the way they imagined, once they reach it. Especially when they are only in it for a monetary result.
🗓↘️⏳Others are connecting shorter workweeks towards happiness.
💪🛠⚽Or they try to do everything for their local community, or club. Which fulfills them, as they can provide opportunities for others.
👀❤️📈📉📈Some look at it more generalistic and just want to love the process of growing and learning every day, trying to provide something for others. Getting to know new perspectives, to understand more ways of approaching a challenge.
🤷♂️🥅😊👉🏻🙋Whatever your definition or goal is, make sure to check in if it is really YOUR idea about success or happiness, or if it is the idea installed in you, by your dad, brother, friends, etc..
Because if it is not really what you, yourself want, without impressing anyone else, then it will probably not make you happy once you reach that goal. If you haven't checked yourself, and your definition of happiness in a while this podcast will be good support for that.
🕰🤔🧠🔥-->🤷♂️Sometimes we tend to overthink how life-changing a decision can be, and we start to work our minds around every possible outcome, we can think of. The challenge with that process is that first of all, we often can see all the outcomes, and secondly, even if we do, we are usually not able to keep all the outcomes in a balanced scoresheet. After wrapping our brain around all of the options, chances, and risks we are usually just tired and even more confused.
👉👤🙅♂️👨👩👧👧Remember the most important thing about choosing in-between options, and making up your mind about your next step is, that you are the one that has to live with it. It is not your girlfriend, not your mom, or dad, and none of your friends, that are responsible for your choice. Yes, they might be involved, or even part of the decision, but you are the one that has to deal with the consequences. So it can be helpful to get advice, but most of the time it is best if you rely on your own gut-feeling.
❓💡🔀How do you deal with that? The answer is really underwhelming buttery sufficient: If you have a decision about two, three, or six options, which you can’t place in any order, then this podcast will definitely help you.
✚🤔<🛠By the way, 99% of those decisions can easily be adjusted, but you will only know about it, once you committed yourself. So check out the podcast if you are familiar with the feeling of unclarity, or you are about to make a big step in your life, and you are unsure, where you put your foot down.
🧳🧠🇨🇦➡️🇪🇺In today's interview, Alix Jacob shares his literal, as well as his mindset journey on which he went, to leave his comfort zone and to get closer to his purpose. Being born and raised in Quebec, Canada he has spent most of his life in the same areas, visiting the same places, and being with the same people.
🗣👨🗺✈️So when a friend approached him, telling him about his plan of going to Europe, Alix quickly realized that this could be an opportunity to experience life in a totally different way. He decided to buy a ticket the same night, they talked about it, not even knowing how to pay for everything. Because he went into the journey with the mindset of: "Even if it might be a different experience than expected, it will definitely be an adventure".
🇪🇸👀⛵🌴Once he arrived in Spain, he had the opportunity to do a Work-away which has introduced him to a totally different perspective on life, which was far from High-school-->Uni-->Work-->Family-->House, and that was the first time he really got an introduction to thinking differently about life. Having made the connection with the family and throughout the whole traveling experience, he was brought back to his childhood dream of visiting the Jungle. And that is the plan which he followed through, once he was back in Canada, where he put in three more months of work to finance his travel to a Work-away here in Costa Rica.
🤔🧠👷♂️😅So how did he get to this mindset of just setting a traveling target, setting an experience as a target, and then go for it? Why did he not follow the straight and advertised path of high-school--> uni ....? And how did traveling contribute towards getting clarity about his future? Why is the best time for taking risks in your 20s? What was the biggest revelation he gained by traveling? What is the difference between passion and interest?
👥🎙❓👣Those are the main topics we go into, while Alix is providing some amazing insights about his own experience he has made. It is a great interview for you, if you feel that you need to get out of your current environment, really don't know how to get closer to your purpose, or also if you are just uncertain about what your next step is.
🤔💗👨👩👧🫂What does the word love mean to you? Is it an expression you share with an individual? Or is it something you feel around your family? Or all of the above?
🗣ℹ️❤️Saying the words: „I love you“, can have a meaning on a lot of different levels.
🙋♀️🤝❤️👤Even if it sometimes means asking for help, then you will oftentimes experience love towards you, as someone is just helping you to get where you want to be.
👨🔧❌💡➡️👍You might be calling it different than love, but serving without an expectation might just be the best thing you can do, as you can share your appreciation towards another person. And the return will be much better, much sweeter, once you don’t focus on it.
🙇♂️💭🧐What can you learn from helping others? Why should you look at love towards others and helping them, as a long-term investment? How does it help you to create opportunities in the future?
➡️❓🎗📈Those are the main questions I go into in today’s podcast. I hope I can raise some awareness on that topic and maybe shift your mindset a little bit if you haven’t looked at the topic from my angle.
✈️🇨🇷🗣👨👱♀️I went to Costa Rica because I felt that I need to meet new people again, in order to get to know new perspectives. And I did get to know many new angles to look at life, „pura vida“ is one concept I introduced before.
➕🏡🧠🌅The added effect of getting to know new people is also the chance of creating new opportunities, as every single person can help you to have a great experience.
For example, right now I am staying in a 250USD Airbnb for free because I got to know the person that owns it. But it is not only about possessions or materialistic things, it is all about having the mindset of talking and listening to new people, and being open-minded about the outcome.
❌👀👤🤔I have never looked at a person and thought: „Oh that’s a nice house, or that’s a nice car, I’d like to get to know him/her“. It has been quite the opposite, as I got to know those people by having a good time with them, and then we made plans together.
❓🤩😰What other experiences was I able to encounter? And how does it apply to gratitude? How can you apply it in your life?
🎧🎙🗓Those are the topics I cover in this episode.
🙎♂️📈🇲🇽➡️🇨🇦Growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico, the most beautiful city in the world as Ruben claims, he started his journey towards music, when he missed out on one semester of uni, and just decided to try and produce a song on a beat he downloaded from YouTube. Within a short time, he managed to get a couple thousand clicks, without putting any effort into marketing or other actions to promote his work. Through a friend's advice, he got to Canada, where he was in an environment of artists, which inspired him to produce and learn about music for 7 months there. Back in his hometown, he received great feedback for his work, as he kept on developing.
⮑🇲🇽🎊🎧➡️🇧🇷When it was about time to come back, he set up an event, where he was performing live, in front of 600 people as a first big gig, and once again the feedback was great. After two months of being back home, a friend from Brazil, which he met in Canada invited him over to stay with him, and to fulfill his dream of visiting Brazil. Once he got there, he decided to go with the flow and got to know himself a lot more by reading and living life on his own terms in a different environment for 6 more months. Along with that, he produced a couple more songs with a Brazilian association.
🇧🇷➡️🇵🇪🇧🇴⛺After being there and getting closer to himself, he felt the urge to go on to travel more through South America and went on through Bolivia, Peru, and other countries. Travelling never meant staying in hotels, but rather camping in the streets, or just living off the bare minimum, which he needed. Experiencing those moments he went on to name the feeling of them „Vanilla“ -the bare minimum you need to call a bed a bed, or a chair a chair. All of those moments have taught him, that traveling makes him see the world through the eyes of a little kid.
🧳🚶♂️🙇♂️While continuing his journey, he got to know even more about himself, society, and its concepts, and worked through the following, amazing questions with a clarity, he never experienced before.
❓🤯🤔😇How did the traveling change him? How did he get the balls to go into the unknown, with nothing, but the bare minimum? How did things come together? How did he experience not seeing anybody for a week and being in constant conversations with himself? What does love mean, apart from the cultural concepts, that are put upon it? How did his journey impact his music, his message? How was he able to join back into society, while keeping his newfound clarity?
🔔👀🔀If any of those questions ring a bell in you, or create a curiosity, then this is definitely the right podcast, as it shares so much wisdom and clarity. Even more, topics are being touched on in this interview, but it is not even possible to put all of them into this description, as the interview does just such a great job of shifting your perspective through the experience of Ruben.
🧳😬❌🧎♂️On my current journey, I have encountered several hic-ups, when things didn’t go as planned and sometimes it becomes easy to give up, and change your mind, or to not complete a challenge. I think that trust which you sometimes just have to show in those situations doesn’t just apply to my journey or travels, but to my whole life, in private as well as in business.
🤝👥🌴🚶♂️In today's episode, I go into my two most recent examples, where trusting in things has given me either a great adventure, or just a wholesome experience, which was way better and way more satisfying than giving up, or turning around. It has lead me towards meeting new and helpful people, and into having a very satisfying feeling of conquering a volcano by hiking in a wild jungle.
❓👆🎧🎙How does it apply to your life, how can you find that trust, and can I just trust without doing anything? Check out today's episode, as I go into my experience and my answers to those questions.
💪➡️🧠Productivity comes from within, but there are certainly some external factors, which have an influence on your output.
📉❌💻In my case, I have noticed, that I am a lot less productive, when I am not having a fixed work environment, or office just for myself.
🦠❌🏠Especially during COVID, where I have been cutting costs by not renting an apartment, I have not been able to access my quiet workplace as easily as I was used to.
⏳🥱🙃This situation had a decent impact on the time it took me to finish things, as I was being distracted by friends that were goofing around, or there were just too many opportunities to find excuses, for not doing my work right away.
🔁🏞🧘But with a few minor changes, I can change that environment, to be more focused on my projects again.
💻😄/😕🎧How is your reaction, your feeling, when you approach your workspace? Check out the podcast, to find out, how I want to feel when I get ready to start working.
🗓🎙🙍♂️Today’s interview partner Matthieu Spigarelli, from Luxemburg, has had an impressive journey to realize, that it is only us, that can change our reality entirely.
❓➡️🧳🛣So, how did he get towards that experience and strong belief? Where did his journey of self-development and mindset start?
🚶♂️🕸👥The first real step towards personal development happened when he started working for a network marketing company which showed him a basic understanding of the mindset and helped him to be fueled, to reach his goals, which were monetary at the time. He was able to realize the important role of mentors, and personal development, in growing himself.
⏳➡️🥵➡️🏦Yet after some time, he was missing a why and a reason to work for the network marketing company, as he felt, it was only to make him wealthier, without helping other people too much. That’s when he decided to go into a 9-5 job, in a bank, even though it was not his number one choice. Being in the bank he was able to learn a lot about the markets and took courses on trading by himself along with the education from the bank, which enabled him to go into trading himself.
📈💸➡️😕As he was getting better and better from a financial standpoint, he realized that it does not affect his emotional life as much, as he thought in the beginning. Having that realization and being hit with a hard emotional situation around the same time he discovered Dr. Joe Dispenza's book, Becoming Supernatural, which has enabled him to get through his bad situation, by rewiring his thinking process.
🤯🗣👨🏫👨👦He quickly realized that his definitions of success, his thought of fulfillment, had been altered by the society, parents, teachers, and all other systems he put himself in. Once he really felt that he is 100% in control of his reality, everything turned around for him, as he started being more and more aware of his thought process and the way he feels about situations.
🎧3👣😍If you want to hear the three steps, he is following, to reflect on himself, to really be in control of his reality, then this is the perfect podcast for you, as he goes into great examples about changes that occurred in his life, after having reached this level of understanding. And if you are really into working on your mindset this will not just be the right or a good podcast for you, but you will be able to connect so much, to his insights.
🎢📈📉 This headline might be a little overused in some areas, but there are always ups in downs in life. The concept sounds very simple, yet I have found it to be true when I look at my own life. Today I want to focus on ways to get out of those struggles or how to just go follow through with some things to overcome specific situations and low energy levels.
🔋👎➡️↗️My energy level has not been the best lately, but fortunately, I improved it last week. I found more motivation doing certain things, and ways to get inspired, even without traveling or changing the destination.
⏳😤➡️🤙I feel like sometimes you have those phases in life which are not very fulfilling or rewarding. No matter how hard you try, you will most likely not be able to just avoid them forever, but you can work through them. Better days and weeks will come.
1️⃣📈🔁One of the major things that has helped me is very simple, yet simple it is one of the best pieces of advice which I have gotten: Be consistent working on the things you want to accomplish. It doesn’t matter if it is your Instagram page, your blog, or any other project in which your want to make big progress.
🎧🎙✅Feel free to check out this episode, as I go into my ways of coping with those struggles, and how I got me back into being more consistent. It might just be the right impulse for you if you feel like you are stuck.
💪👥🏔🏖The power of your social environment – How the right people can help you to get through almost anything.
🇨🇷⏱👷♀️🧑🍳👨🎓After being here in Costa Rica for some time now, I have been blessed to find a group that is supporting each other more, than anybody I have ever met on my travels. It doesn’t matter if it is cleaning stuff, planning new things, or just having a good time together.
<👨👦👦🥵Yet even in a group that is providing so much, and with whom I have shared so many good moments in such a short time, it happens that someone can have a tough time because personal things did not go as expected.
♥️⏳🤗If something like that happens in a group of friends, it shows what each one of them is made of, as it takes the love, time, and compassion from everybody to help the one person struggling.
❓🤝📈What qualities are needed to support each other in a situation like this? How do you know if you have the right people around you, willing to pick you up when you are struggling? When is it time to reconsider the people around you? Those are the questions I look into in today's podcast, I am looking forward to your feedback and hope that you are in an environment, that reacts in the way my current one does.
🗣👥😅🤪A lot of people I have been talking to, or with whom I have spent some time with are struggling to be themselves, without wearing a mask, without trying to impress anyone else, but themselves. Even on my current journey, I have run into people seeking the approval of a certain group of people so hard, that they twist and turn themselves, just to be accepted in this specific social environment. And I think every one of us has experienced those situations, either twisting themselves or recognizing others, who won`t allow themselves to be the way they normally are.
🎙👱♂️=♥️And today’s interview partner Pedro Avanzi is an expert, when it comes to this topic, as he went through quite a process of allowing himself to live on the outside the way he feels on the inside.
Being born and raised in a small town in Brazil he discovered in his teenage years that he does not like girls as much as other guys, and that put him into a position of uncertainty, and questioning. Not being able to experience anyone else in his environment, that had those same questions or feelings he felt more comfortable keeping his secret to himself until he was 18.
🏳️🌈🇧🇷👨❤️👨The turnkey moment for him was the time when he was able to move to Sao Paulo, where he knew, that a big LGBTQ scene was based. Arriving there he felt more comfortable, yet he was not sure how his childhood friends would react, how his family would react, once he opened up about himself about that personal topic.
✈️🇦🇺🏳️🌈As he was not sure how to begin, and how he could share his inner feelings, he decided to go to Australia, to “test the water” about being openly gay. Those moments and experiences helped him a lot to be more confident about opening up.
🎧🤯😆😅If you want to know more about:
How he felt, once he found out about his sexuality.
Why he is convinced, that keeping such a “secret” to yourself is almost always more painful, than taking the risk of losing the relationship to a friend or family member.
How he was able to incorporate his sexuality in his workspace, and especially how the reactions of others were, once they found out.
And how much traveling has helped him not just to lose the mask about his sexuality, but also about his true self.
Then this Podcast is the right one for you.
❌❓🏳️🌈Even if you are not questioning your sexuality, the interview gives such an impressive perspective about allowing yourself to be you, so if you sometimes feel like you lose yourself, just in order to be accepted, you should definitely check out this interview.
🇨🇷🏄♂️🏊🏼♂️🚶♂️After being in Costa Rica for just about a week I can already feel how much more active, how much more engaged I am in going out every day, doing sports every day, and also growing together with people that were strangers just days ago.
👨👀🚗👥I have recognized, that we oftentimes forget to listen and follow what we want, as we’re getting stuck in our daily life. And it’s not just a big journey, that changes that, but also just trying to make the most of the situation you are in. By doing day trips, getting together with your friends, and trying to go beyond your routine as much as it is possible, at least when you get into that feeling of being stuck where you are at right now.
🎙🎧👩🎨 So check out the podcast if you want to hear a little bit about my Costa Rica experience and what other ways there might be, to provide new impressions for yourself, which help you to be much more creative again.
❓📂✅How are you setting the priorities?
🔎🕰📲Finding time to watch the next episode of Netflix is never an issue.
❌⚽️🏋️♀️But blaming yourself after watching these two episodes (90 min) of your favorite show and saying that you didn’t have the time for sport is familiar to a lot of people.
💸📱/🧑💼But this podcast is not just about that scenario it’s also about how we sometimes spend money as I mentioned before I’m get triggered by the newest iPhone or other new tech products.
How are you spending your money? Is it the 5th pair of shoes you are buying? Or other products which you might think twice about buying?
I have noticed that we sometimes tend to spend a lot of money on things which don’t help us.
💵🛠❓Why not considering investing money into a new skill which we can leverage to earn more money or to give us a broader understanding of marketing, strategy, or whatever you want to improve in.
My brother and I spend a lot of money last year on coaching, to work on ourselves, most people would have bought a car. It doesn’t need to be coaching, but you could for example travel the world with that money.
💵➡️👤Why do I think, that investing in yourself will always be worth it in the end? Check out the podcast, as I go into the return of those investments.
❓🧐🅾️🎧So what should you do, when it comes to a purchase opportunity? How can you decide between fun and development?
Those are the topics I cover in this podcast.
1️⃣👧📝In today's interview, I had the pleasure to talk to Sigrid Bost, who is one of the first people, with whom we talked about our podcast, back in July. As we were right at the planning stage of the podcast, we exchanged some ideas and wondered how our topic of different perspectives would be perceived. Would people be interested, would they like it? Those were the questions on our minds, and Sigrid was one of the people encouraging us to go for it.
😊👥🗓Now our podcast is running for 3 months, and we are very proud, and happy that there are people who listen to it every day.
🎙✈️🗺Yet this interview is not only reserved for our backstory, Sigrid is passionate about traveling and her specific takeaways, and experiences. The biggest impacts happened on her three mayor stays abroad:
🇦🇺🦘🔄The first stay abroad was in Perth Australia, where she worked as an Au-pair to get new impulses for a change in her life, as she had just canceled her law studies, which were not suitable for her.
🤗👥👍After that experience, she decided to study communication and marketing with a friend in Tilburg. Within the study program, the second abroad experience came along, which was in Brussels where she experienced the time of her life with a super international group of people.
🇲🇼❤️👩💻Her third experience abroad was due to an internship for an organization in Malawi Africa. The beauty came, as she was able to dive into a really warm-hearted culture, which brings many different qualities than our western standard. Working on the communication of the organization there has brought her quite a lot of joy, as she was able to prepare herself through this practical experience for her master's in organization studies.
👀🔁📖How did those parts of her life change her view? What were the biggest takeaways? And where does it take her in the future?
👂🎧🎙Check out the interview, as she goes into those questions and just brings a very refreshing perspective that has been build through those special parts of her life.
🧑🔧❌👩🎨❌Trying and then failing is something a lot of people think negatively about, I do not. I believe it is necessary to try and fail over and over again to find out what you like and dislike.
If you are able to give your self the space to discover those preferences you will be able to find your passion. It will also help you to grow you as a person.
<🎧⏳⏱🔍Most of our podcast listeners are between 18 and 35 years old. This means we have time to figure out what we like doing, we shouldn't just apply more and more pressure to our self if we can’t figure it out right away. Even making experiences we don’t enjoy, help us to select, as we definitely know what doesn’t work for us. Through this process we get closer step by step to find out what makes us happy in our business or job.
🛫❌1️⃣+1️⃣Yet the journey doesn’t end there, as our passion can change depending on the things that fit in our life at the moment. So finding our passion is a process which we will go through our whole life, picking up pieces that bring us joy, one by one. Those are the ones we should keep.
😅🔍✅🙏If you are struggling to find your passion this might be the perfect inspiration for you. Thank you so much for listening, and for the great support you give us.
⌚🤷♂️🔄Sometimes you just don’t know what will happen, and you have to make a decision based on faith, and your best guess. And you can not guarantee that the outcome will be 100% satisfying. I just made one of those decisions, and I am super happy with it, even if it is just for the fact that I actually took the initiative to make a change, even if the result might not end up being perfect there will definitely be more adventure than before. Also, I will have opportunities to grow one way or the other.
🎙🤷♂️🤯✅Today's podcast will be all about those moments of uncertainty. What decision am I talking about, how can you decide if you are not able to estimate the risk and reward of your plan - tune in and you might get inspired on how to deal with your uncertain situation the next time.
👨🎓👨💼🏢🧳Even though Kaya and Friedrich are both students at the university, as well as I am, the biggest learnings about life did not necessarily happen in a classroom, but instead, they seemed to come up during their travels or by making their first steps as CEO’s of the start-up called „Denkleister“, which translates to „thinking-performer“. So we are saying University is useless? No that is not the case, but we want to advertise you as a listener, to go beyond that „normal“ experience of University, and to look for practical ways to gain meaningful experience.
❓🙇♂️📈👨💻So what is „Denkleister“? Well, the company is officially referred to as a start-up, and yet Friedrich describes it as a playground. Wait, did he just describe business as a playground? Yes, he did, and I think it is beautiful, as most people never have an opportunity to actually make experiences in the business world, without facing major risk. A student-based start-up gives space for exactly that, and it also shows how tough handling certain responsibilities can be. If you are thinking about going into a start-up or joining a student business this might be a super insightful part for you, as this interview also goes into the most important experiences and how they influenced the understanding of what is really important to oneself.
❌💵👥✈️🌎But not everybody finds themselves comfortable in business, and life certainly is not only about making money, or being an entrepreneur, or having the most precious career, for us it is about making the most of your time, and one of the best ways to achieve that has been traveling for Friedrich and Kaya. It has been amazing how much traveling has changed their perspective, their understanding of certain things, and how it has become an important part of their life.
🎧🎙➡️🌅Feel free to tune into the interview, if you want to go back to those warm traveling memories, that might be in the back of your head, or if you just want to hear another perspective on how insightful getting out of your comfort zone can be.
🙈😪😓 Right now it is way too easy to get into weaker energy, that nothing gets done, few things are satisfying, as more and more restrictions are coming up.
🗣🤷♂️🛠🔂 So I went in and asked for advice, how I can get that feeling back. And quite frankly it couldn’t be much more obvious. Reconstruct and recreate those situations, which have gotten you into your mental top-shape the last time.
🤔⚡️😊Go on and ask yourself: What are the things in your daily life, that deliver you this energy? Which activities brought a smile to your face lately.
🔍👉🏻👤The strongest things I was able to identify for myself are: Walking every day, getting my planned workout done, meditation, or concentrated breathing.
❓🧠🔋What are activities and experiences that enable you to function at full capacity?
🚶♂️😓👣It can be hard to do those first steps, as we often have trouble breaking out of our shells, but once you do it will be worth it. This podcast might just be a good start for you.
🗣🦻❓You might have heard something like this ⬆️. Or something along the lines of: “This is not true, or maybe even that’s impossible. As a matter of fact, those statements happen to be true, just as much as they are false.
🧍♂️🧍♀️↪️👁Ok, where do you want to go with this?
Well, a very wise man, by the name of Jay Abraham has said to me: “Different people have different realities” – and now some of you might differ that different people have different perceptions of reality. But no matter how you put it, this thought has really gotten me going to think about the state of mind each and every one is in, regarding all of their experiences, priorities, and circumstances.
🎙📈🤔And in today’s Podcast I will go into the perception that might differ in between different people and what I learned from the idea of having different realms of thinking, as you continuously shape your own reality.
🏞👨🏫🙇👥My own experience has taught me, that it sometimes just needs the right thinking partner, the right moment, the right energy or any other slight impulse to turn something impossible into something very possible, just because I was finally able to grasp the approach to work at it. So, if you happen to be standing in front of an unsolvable challenge, this might help you to identify people or ideas that enable you to solve your situation. It might be impossible now, but it might also be very realistic in a few weeks.
🇮🇹➡️🇩🇪👨👩👦👦Dominico was introduced to us in 2016 when he left his home country Italy and went on to be one of our first workawayers, that was staying at our house. He stayed for about five weeks, to get out of his comfort zone, in order to grow, and that has been his motto ever since. Back then he was close towards finishing his master’s degree in international accounting. A lot has changed since then.
👨🎓➡️🏴🏢After finishing his studies in 2017, he started working in Turin for Deloitte. After gaining experience he was looking for yet another challenge and made the decision, that an international work experience was the next step, in order to pave the way for his career. This path brought him to London, where he started working for Gower Accountancy. During his time he had some interesting experiences, as well as discoveries about himself and his development.
🔎🏠👨💻📈If you want to check out, why it is more attractive for him to work in a smaller company, how has designed his career, where he was able to grow the most, and what his biggest takeaways on personal development are, then check out this episode, as he is delivering yet another perspective about life, and learning.
🔍☝🏻🔮Do you recognize, moments that you want to remember in the future? How focused are you on just spending time with your friends, girlfriend, boyfriend, or family members? Are you still processing your recent project, or are you somewhere else with your mind?
🎙❌💰In today’s podcast, I specifically emphasize ways to be more present in the moment, as those little shared moments can be priceless. If you want to hear my impulse on how to make the most of those moments, and to sees them towards their full potential, then this might just be the right podcast for you.
👱♂️😩✈️👨💻I have been limiting myself lately, in specific, when it comes to traveling. Because I did not look at the actual possibilities I had, just assuming, that it will be incredibly difficult and unfulfilling to start a journey during these times.
Well, the truth is, besides having to take a lot of safety measures, I can actually attend university and travel right now, in certain countries of course. But as stupid, and simple as it sounds, I was not looking at it from that angle, until now.
😨🥵⏩😁And maybe you are familiar with those thoughts around: “I would like to do this, but unfortunately, I can’t, because of COVID”. Or maybe something like: “That’s is impossible because I have to do this right here, right now”. With my experience in mind, it might be helpful to change the angle, from which you are looking at those challenges, as you possibly have missed some advantages about your actual position, once you put society's input aside.
🤔📈❓How do you do that and how much can your life quality be improved? Those are the questions; I respond to in today's podcast.
🇧🇬🇳🇱🇦🇹🧠From Bulgaria through the Netherlands and Austria into the world, that is the way Vyara took, but it is more than just a journey in-between places, it is a journey towards a mindset of possibility.
😨💵👨👨👦And in today’s interview, you can join Vyara and me on that journey, as she describes her struggles of coming to the Netherlands to study, how she overcame the financial challenges, that came by applying to the university, and how much she has taken from her social surroundings.
🙏🗣👩🔧👚I appreciate talking to Vyara, as she isn't a complainer but a doer, she is finding solutions for everything. She has found ways to take initiative and to turn them around, even if that means working at Primark for some time.
🤔📈❌🛤I recommend this interview to you, if you are not confident enough to take a risk, or if you happen to see yourself in a corner, with no way out, at least at first sight. I am confident the story of Vyara, and the way she managed her life, will inspire you to find different ways to go through with your goals.
🗓🔚As this Special year has come to Christmas, it is time for us to give, receive, be together, and to share love. It is time to get back with people you might not have spoken to for some time.
🎁➡️💝🙏With all the above in mind we want to encourage you to use the power of giving and to share love with a little gesture to your closeones. Also we ant to thank you for supporting us, listening to our thoughts and for participating in our interviews.
🙏🤗👨👩👧👦Thank you, and much love to you. Tune in to hear our little Christmas impulse. It is perfect, if you need a little break, want to have a little smile on your face, or if you are a little stressed out about your relatives, this will help you to oversee those little challenges in between each other.
🚶🚶♀🏞Join us on a journey of exploring perspectives and impulses on life. It allows you to experience true positive energy and a place to lean on when you struggle following through with your dreams.
🤔🖼🛣 What do we provide for you?
🤔❌👀📐You don’t know what you don’t know. This is very obvious, but oftentimes we underestimate how easy change can take place, once we can look at things from the right angle. And besides utilizing your network to grow, I think one of the most essential things you should try to bring into your life is a Mentor.
👥👨🏫🇺🇸📈We got our first mentor at 15, 16 years old, at 18 we decided to put a whole year of our earnings into a coach, in order to work more concentrated on ourselves and to constantly get feedback from someone with more experience than us. Right now we have obtained another American mentor by our side, as representatives of our mother's company.
🙇♂️🎧🎙What we constantly learn from them, why it is so important to us, to seek their advice, and how it makes a change, are the topics of today’s podcast.
🙏🔍👨🏫I hope you enjoy it, and maybe you can identify a mentor for your situation, to learn about things you didn’t even consider before, which then turn out to be the key to your success.
👩👩👦🗺✈️As a young child Jackomo started traveling with his family all around the world, and it didn’t take long until he was addicted. Still, in elementary school, he went abroad for the first time by himself, to discover the north of Europe. Traveling has always resembled freedom, new learnings, and lots of opportunities to leave and expand his comfort zone.
❌👨🎓🔙🗺Once he started going to uni in Italy, he felt, that he was missing something, and decided to cancel his studies, in order to gain new experiences, by traveling through south-, and southeast Asia. One of the places, that impressed him the most, was India.
🇮🇳🧘♂️🆕👀India offered a totally different structure and way of life and introduced him to a “silent retreat”, which presented him a whole new awareness, by deciding to not talk for several days. The focus created by staying silent showed him nature and meditation in a depth he has never experienced before. Every little detail of nature suddenly turned into an amazing structure, he recognized things he never noticed before, and for once he found time for himself, without being distracted by anything.
❓🏝🎧🎙If you want to know where else his journey took him, which things he was able to discover in the retreat and how he ended up meeting Joseph, then tune in and enjoy the interview.
👱➡️👨👨👦YOU are who you surround yourself with
🤔💰📈You might have read something like this before: “Your net value is the average of your five closest friends”. And in today’s podcast I want to go into this thesis. The only difference is, I focus on potential, instead of net value.
🙇♂📈=↔️In my experience, your growth can only be as good as the room you create for it, and if your closest friends are not very willing to grow, chances are, that the do not want you to grow as well. Why is that? How can you change that? And how is my experience with those statements?
🎧🎙You can find my answers in my the most recent podcast.
🥱🤷♂️🙇♂️I know this sounds quite pathetic and a little overused in my opinion. Yet after revisiting the last two podcasts about the power of your network and the impact of perspectives, it felt suitable to touch on the way we define ourselves.
🙋👩💻👨🎓⚽Yea, I know, obvious right?
I am Franz Wieduwilt, 20 years old, studying in Witten, like football......
Well, that’s what you get in probably 90% of the cases when you ask this question. And the funny thing is, I said almost nothing about myself and my traits as a person. The only things I mentioned are my environment, my degree and occupation, and my interest in football, which is probably giving away most about me.
🕵️🧑🎤🧑🎨👩🚒So who am I apart from those stats and facts, how can we even describe ourselves without using those benchmarks?
Well in my opinion our moods and drivers in certain situations are the best indicators, to answer this question.
👉🏻❎❓⚖️Let’s see, I am very purpose-driven, I barely do anything if I don’t understand why I am doing it. I am looking to get justice for myself before I am getting justice for the world, and I feel a lot more comfortable when I am leading, instead of serving.
👍❓🎧🎙Alright, how does that apply to what are examples? Check out the podcast, as I go into it.
🤩🎙👥In a very special episode, today’s interview is in between us: Joseph and Franz. As the end of the year is approaching we wanted to take measure and to give you an insight about our thoughts around this podcast.
✅🎧🙇♂️📈This episode is the right one for you, if you are interested why we started the podcast, how we feel about it, what we would like to improve and what we learned from this experience. Tune in, it is worth it, especially if you are questioning our Podcast.
👉🏻🤯➡️🧘You might have encountered situations which totally stressed you out, while others were super calm about it. Or maybe the other way around. And often times that has to do with perspectives.
😱🐕➡️🤗🐕Some people are for example really freaked out about dogs, as they might have been bitten at an early age, or as the have consumed content which displayed dogs as super aggressive. So when they walk up to a dog, they start sweating and being nervous. Another person growing up with a dog, might be walking towards that same dog, with a smile on their face, wanting to pet it. Both people are in the same situation, yet their perspective makes the react so differently.
👥🎙👩🎨👀Our podcast is created to provide you as many perspectives as possible, through our interviews and impulses. Our hope is to create more understanding and angles, to enable you to build your own picture about possibilities and future decisions, without limiting yourself.
❓🔎🎧How does that work? Check out this episode, as I go into it.
⏱🧒🤷♂️🏫Lately, I have encountered quite a few people that don’t really know what to do after high school. Sure uni, college, are the most common choices, as they usually provide a nice environment for learning and connecting with others. But is that it, is uni the final direction? It might be, it might not be. And to give you an example for a journey, that happened all around the subject of: “What do I actually want to do?”, I want to introduce you to Diego Stranger Mackinnon.
🇨🇱🎓⛷🇨🇦Diego is from Chile and he went on quite a journey, starting off studying as an engineer, becoming a skiing instructor, getting injured, recovering for eight months, competing in national and international free ride skiing competitions, moving to Canada, becoming a biking instructor, jobbing as a dishwasher to raise money, going back and forth in jobs as an engineer. If that roller-coaster hasn’t made up for a great story jet, then let me tell you: This interview is definitely the one for you, if feel like you are cornered in a tricky life-situation, with no way out. Be ready to get inspired by Diego, as he has taken a ton of ups and downs in this roller-coaster of life, providing a lot of super helpful insights, provided by his journey.
🎧🎙🆕🛤Tune in and be ready to open up to new possibilities and ways, you might be doubtful about. Along with that towards the end of the interview, Diego shares his perspective on the connection between people, looking at signs, hearing, listening, and being more aware.
🤔🤷🤩Do you know and appreciate what you have?
🕐👀🔙🏝Lately, I was looking back at my past travels, the journeys I was able to do. And I have gotten a little bit nostalgic, along with a feeling of: „Let’s go!“
The only thing is Corona, doesn’t share too many opportunities for that right now. So for a day or two, I happened to pick up a little complaining streak, where I mentioned the situation and those limitations quite a few times, being upset about it. And fortunately, a friend of mine gave me a reminder: „What are you so upset about? Look at all the things you do have, instead of always eyeing for the things you can’t have right now“.
🗣👤❗🙏 And that was actually a necessary confrontation for me, as I realized his point. With that in mind, I took a couple of deep breaths, and I reassessed the situation again, focussing on the thing I am thankful for. What are things that you are troubled with, or which you don’t feel very well about? Maybe picking up the phone and talking to a friend is the perspective change you need to get back towards appreciating more. Check out this podcast if you want to hear a little bit about my list of thankful things, which gives me a lot of energy and drive.
🤾♂️🏈⚽Everything in life is a trade...... No, I am not trying to get you into a masterclass 😉, but in my opinion, this statement goes a long way.
You can choose to work, or to relax, you can choose to go out with friends, or to build your brand. Now don’t get me wrong, I am NOT trying to tell you: "Drop your friends and your parties and work!!!"
But be aware, that certain benchmarks don’t come without sacrifice, and your day has 24h meaning you choose the blend of your day and time schedule. Trust me, it is not too bad not being a soccer or football star, as we might be having a better life......
🙋♀️❓📈🤷You might be asking: "You sure???". Guess what that's today's podcast topic as I go through some insights about "achieved people in their fields". "You mean successful, right?", no, that's where most people make the mistake, in my opinion. I am talking about people that have dedicated their life towards one thing, and they are mostly perceived as successful, but are they? Are they successful in their own eyes? And are they always happy to be in the spotlight...... I don’t know, guess you gotta ask them.
👁🗨🎧🎙But if you just wanna have my view, the podcast will do!
🎧🎶🤩“I say sun”,” Serotonin” and” Work It” are my go-to songs, when it comes to my work and chill playlist. The flow I feel when I hear those songs is incredible.
🤔🎉🎙Guess what………..I managed to get Mick Mazoo on the interview, which is huge because as I already mentioned, his music is always coming up when I am hanging out with my friends or during work. But secondly, and even more importantly, who is the person behind the computer, who is the person putting those slick beats together, and what drives him?
🕴🔜🎧We jumped right in with those questions, went into his song production and his personal motivators, all I can say about this Interview: “Don’t miss it!”
🤷❗🔎🔊If you ask yourself, why I put so much emphasis on it, then check out his music to get a feel for the work he is putting out, and then tune back in, you will not regret it.
https://open.spotify.com/artist/1Yx2K8SQD3JPnPesUxNqve?si=Eufrxn6WRv21lYP-NifCTA
🤗❓💳🧒And give hugs to anyone..... No that's not quite the tune here, but I want to encourage you to give yourself a little bit of credit from time to time.
🤔🔙📈🎖I recently reflected that I, and assumably quite a few other people miss the opportunity of actually looking back at the actions and achievements they reached. A lot of times it happens for me because I am so caught up, by meeting friends, traveling, or I do not even realize what I am doing daily.
🤩🤏🏋️♂️🤝Appreciate the small things, losing 2 kg or gaining them, depending on the goal you are trying to reach with your body, closing a deal on your job, or integrate a new healthy habit in your daily life.
🔙🎖⛽🔋Once I go back to those achievements, I get fueled with new energy. Check out the podcast, as I go into my personal examples and my thoughts about it. Also don’t forget to check out the interview this weekend, as I have an interview with one of my favorite DJ’s Mick Mazoo.
🧠☁️Today I have a quick impulse, as I was a little bit cloudy, a little bit unclear those last days. And the one thing I really needed is space for myself, without distraction.
❓🤔What does that mean?
⏳🧒❌👨👩👧👧For me, that means time by myself, without any friends, or family around. Just me and maybe my dog. This space of being with yourself has given me the opportunity to actually go into meditation, without being bothered by other thoughts, like: “I only have time from now till XX:XX, or my friend is coming over, and I would like to do XYZ…”. It gives you time, to take the pace out of your daily rush.
🏞↔️🛠This environment will give you space to get to work on yourself, your own thoughts, and unaddressed ideas, it will help you to slow down and clear the fog that might be going on in your head.
❌🔎🌫And for me this fog is nothing, which I discover like: “Wowow here we go again, it’s time for a meditation, its time for myself” It is actually something I am not even realizing too much if I am not reminding myself consciously. Most of the time I get caught up, having a good time with my friends and family, which I love doing 100%, but slowly and unrecognized it is drawing me away from being focused on my project or work.
👀🔙😯🗓So every now and then, when I look back, and I realize ….. “I haven’t really followed a clear path those last weeks, and I am quite uncertain in some things, quite uninspired, then I figure, that I should implement an action, which allows me to focus on myself and to create clarity. For me, that is mostly meditation, but it can also be taking a long and thoughtful walk, without headphones, without a podcast, without any distractions, just focusing on nature and yourself. Another way can be a thoughtful time, while doing something, when you are in a complete routine, like washing the dishes, or doing your workout, preferably an action where you really don’t have to think.
🛀🧘♂️🤩The feeling you have afterward, being completely calm and centered, is amazing. And to me it is like taking a shower, in the beginning, it is just something necessary to do, but once you are in it, you don’t really wanna get out, because it is quite enjoyable. I hope you can relate, I recommend you to listen to the podcast and more importantly to look for those opportunities of creating space for yourself.
Insight into Emelys Canada experience which held quite a couple of surprises.
🌨🗓🏃♀️It's November 2019, the A-levels are done, no job, no distractions, time is a given…. It is go-time for Emely. One last goodbye-party and here she goes. Into a 10 month journey to Canada, the country is certain, yet the experience is not.
🧐🔙🔁 And looking back at it, the most constant thing during her time was probably "change". Change of jobs, change of the living situation, change of all normal standards due to COVID, and also a change of perspective about her process.
🗺🏂🏔What was planned to be a journey into a new life as a snowboard instructor, turned out to be a journey closer to herself. And in today's interview, Emely shares her experiences which are…. quite a lot. This episode doesn’t just present a great journey, with a ton of unexpected turns, it furthermore is a great exchange of beliefs and realizations, which are super powerful. We go into:
📈🧠creating a positive mindset and the incredible power of it
💁♀️⏳the necessity of being patient
🙏📈trusting your own process
🤗🔓🚪how an optimistic approach can unlock doors, you would never even have imagined
🙇♀️🤷♀️rethinking expectations, because sometimes you just have to take what you get
🧍♀️↔️🗺If you are standing in front of a decision about going abroad, you went abroad, or you just want to stir up the pod and try something new, then this podcast is the perfect fit for you, as it presents a very personal, but relatable experience with sooo much value.
🧐🎙🎧Check out the podcast to get the whole story.
🗣🔇🦻It happens to me from time to time, when I am in a conversation with someone else, that I think: “Alright, alright gotcha ….. I got your message”. The challenge with that though is the fact that I stop actively listening once I get to that point, preparing myself to intervene and to provide my input. I am hearing the last one or two sentences, but I am not really listening.
🤔✅🥱I am sure you know those situations. You are so eager to put out what is on your mind because you might think that you save everyone’s time and you are moving forward more efficiently.
🧐😯<👥In my experience there is a good chance of miscommunication and less appreciation of your talking partner, which will immediately change if you concentrate on listening instead of just putting your statement out.
🔎🎼⏩🗣📈You will be able to identify the tune someone is putting into their words, the expressions they have, and maybe even a specific use of words. All those little hidden messages you uncover while listening will give you the ability to respond much more profound and apricating towards the other person.
🎙🎧🦻If you haven’t thought about this topic of listening, or you are thinking about it from time to time, and you are looking for another idea on it, then this podcast is the right piece of content for you.
ℹ️🥱My headline is probably way too simple, yet it is one of the major points of today’s podcast.
Why is that?
🤔🎶🔁It is because I got thinking about a lot of people being so engaged in their daily rhythms, that they are often end-up being total forces of repetition and habits at work. A decent number of the people I know are so used to their actions they end up acting almost like machines since nothing new is coming up on their schedule.
❓🙅♂️That’s bad? – You might ask.
🏢💻⏸☠️Well, I am currently working on a business workshop, and one of the lines, that really stuck with me is the following: “If a business stands still, it dies” In a business context it means, that once a business stops developing itself, by investing in coaching’s, education, new ways of marketing, different products, different strategies, and tactics, or any other way of developing itself, it just loses its grip on the market, the competition will outrun it, or the market share gets lost, as every potential customer has been served.
🤷♂️👥Alright, nice to know…..but how does that apply to us a people, as individuals?
🔁📈⏸In a sense, I think we act a lot like a business in that regard, once we get into this repetitive way of doing the same thing over and over again, without any change and adoption our development stops.
🥵🤝👥And especially in these times, I have had a challenge connecting with new people which is a major part of my inspiration for development. This lack of inspiration has gotten me into a loop of being on low energy, for a short amount of time, until I explored some ways to find a substitute. Along with a few thoughts of mine regarding the topic of development, I hope to get you out of this loop or prevent you from getting into this loop of unproductiveness.
🦻🎙🎧Check it out if you want to catch a break and join my thought journey.
➡️🏁🎙👌 This excellent interview is a great insight into the life of a young woman from Lebanon, that has adapted traveling, connecting people, and business into habits. Also, a master’s degree in event-management happened to be completed along the way.
➡️🎁🤔While continuing to unwrap her great insights on several topics, we came across the following points:
👨👩👧👦🕸🔗Gathering people around you and building a network. Everybody has an interesting character, find links, that you feel comfortable to talk about, then move on to go into more personal stories.
🤝📉📈👨🏫Get to know your process as a teacher which keeps on giving you new lessons, which you could never learn in theory and which you can’t plan for
🤔✈️🧕🤵Karina's reason for traveling, and insights on getting to know people’s cultures and ways of life.
🖇🗄👨💻Our connection towards entrepreneurship and how thinking business seems to be in our DNA. Yet money is not the ultimate measurement.
🚫➡️🤷♀️ How to deal with the challenge of not following through, because the idea is not strong enough to be motivated the whole way.
🕵️♂️⚠️☺️A psychological thought on the necessity to take risks to find fulfillment, at least in business: “When there is no risk, there is no reward”
🙇♂️🙇♀️🗺 Our thought on the role of planning, when starting a new business
🚫👀🧠How to deal with missed opportunities, and what you can learn from them
❓🥅 How we set our goals, that do not just involve us, to be much more passionate
🎗🏎❌ It is impossible to hit anything if you don’t shoot your shot from time to time, meaning: Don’t be afraid to try new things from time to time, as long as you are aware and learn from it. It is much safer than not doing anything, as you will achieve 100% more by just starting.
🙏😇👁As always, we hope to provide you a well spend time, opening your mind to new perspectives and ideas.

🤔🥵📱 Yup, I think most of us know this situation when procrastination is crawling upon us. And for me, one of the biggest attention drawers is my phone.
📉🔁😅 The worst part is, oftentimes, when you get into those loops it becomes much harder to get back into your workflow.
✅🛤🔙 I have found a quite simple way to get back towards that workflow. You might have heard it before, but it is really important to remind yourself from time to time.
👀🎙🧐 Check out our podcast, as I am going into more detail there. Thank you for tuning in.
🥊🤷♂❌🗣Yesterday I was challenged by a very obscure and confusing real live situation, which resolved in a real roller-coaster of situations and an awful mess in communication and misinformation. Some would say a really sh***y Tuesday morning.
👆🙇♂❓I would rather say a it was a reminder. So, what happened? I had a two-day crusade of communicating with the Subway company, due to several accusations of not paying a ticket. But you will find the specifics to that story in the podcast, the biggest thing I faced were a ton of opportunities to be mad at the subway company, life and everyone else, for being mistreated.
⌚🙏✅And I did that….. For about 10 min, then I centered myself again and went back to the statement in the topic. If I wanted to learn something out of this messy-situation, I have to accept it first. There is no reason, no use in cursing, or whishing it would have gone differently. Nothing will change from that.
🤔😤🧑🏫The only viable solution is actually accepting the situation, in order to change the future outcome. And that is exactly what I did, obviously not always with a smile, but with a mindset of learning from this incident.
❓👩✈🥵❓If you want to hear what exactly happened, why this situation was quite challenging at some point, and most importantly how exactly the acceptance of those circumstances helped me to get through this without a polluted mindset of “the world is unfair to me”, then I hope to inspire you with this story.
🤔📅✅When did you come across situations, were the only way to move on was accepting where you are at?
💡📸🎞 Nice light, great setting, nice smile ...... click.
🎙📷⏱ That’s pretty much how our photo shoot went down. Except for the fact that it took us more than two hours the get our pictures in, who would have thought smiling can be so exhausted. The patient person behind the camera, creating the perfect cover for our show was Sheridan Flipse.
🧍📆🎙 And he is our guest in today’s podcast interview. Sharing his personal story, on how he found his passion for photography and turned it into his work, along with some hiccups along the way.
🤔🌍🇳🇱 Going into his background he explains his special connection to Africa, as he lived there for several years before moving to the Netherlands.
🧠➡️🧑🏫 Further on we go into a shift of his mindset. How his passion for his craft disciplined himself, towards really wanting to learn more, in order to get better, the role of money in his business, and more.
🎙👷👀This podcast is especially perfect if you have a passion and think about turning it into your everyday work. Also, it is another great insight into a different life with brings you value by every story.
🙏💡🤔 As always, we hope to inspire you and to provide you another perspective in which you might find some interesting impulses for yourself.
🧗♂️🗻🧑🏼💻 Going into business and hiking up a mountain are two very different things. Obviously..... Or maybe not.
🛫🔋 As you start your journey things start off rather easy, you’ve got a lot of energy and very little pressure.
📏🏃♂️🥵 After covering the first meters, you feel things getting serious. Your energy goes down things are not clicking the way they used to be in the beginning and you start struggling.
🙄😲 Damn, that doesn’t sound like fun, right?
👨🎨⚖️💸 Well to be fair this is the time, where you actually crate the value of your outcome. The more you struggle, the more discipline you are putting in, the more rewarding the results will be!
🤔 How?...
🔎🎙🎧 Check out the podcast, as Joseph is going into his personal story about hiking and the lesson learned and applied by it.
🙏👥🍀Damn, are we lucky!
✅⎻🎙Yup that’s the big tagline of todays podcast. I know that’s a very loose statement, so what’s up with that?
🙇♂📅🇻🇪It has to do with a reminder that I was very lucky to experience throughout this year, as I was in touch with a friend of mine from Venezuela.
❓🤔🙋♂What’s the reminder for? You might ask. “APPRECIATION” is the answer.
😇🥵🤷♂It is the appreciation for our challenges. Why should we appreciate our challenges? Well if you are similar to me, then you might tend to forget how well you live from time to time.
⌚❌🌯Like when was the last time you knew that if you don’t solve a specific situation you will have to worry about your next meal? - Well my answer is…… never.
🔄😨💎🥵Through the exchange we had I realized once more how luxurious my “problems” are compared to hers. Worrying about a decision or a failed task at work or in my studies all a sudden seemed so small, so irrelevant, once I heard her story.
❌🛑🧑🔧It doesn’t mean, we should stop working on those struggles, be it really shows how limited our perspective of life can be. As I cover her story along with some comments about the situation in South America, the main message really is the topic of Appreciation. Not just for the moment, but also for the place and life you live in.
🙏🙇♂😇I hope this also serves you as a reminder to just take a moment and be thankful. Not to make you feel guilty, but rather to put your mind in a state of positiveness, that just shows you, how little your risk is and how some of the weights resting on you might not be as heavy, as you thought they were.
🧠➡️😇If you want to put you mind back into that light state of appreciation, please do yourself the favor and listen to this story, as it helped me a lot to cleanse my mind.
What is this your life journey about? How can we resonate more with each other?
And how can spiritual openness contribute towards exponential growth?
Those are just some of the main topics Periklis Ikonomidis and I discuss in today's Interview.
💭👨💻🤔 How can we find the way that is right for us, the answer seems underwhelming, yet it has worked very well for Periklis. His stations and motivations reach form making money in marketing, towards helping in spiritual practices. The importance of each part shaping his journey is very well displayed by his personal growth, that went along with it.
🔋🙇♂️🤯 Further on he goes into explaining energy, from a physical point of view, which he then translates into actually usable practices. A change in our perspective enables us, to perceive those waves to evaluate situations, people, or things.
🌌🙏👩❤️👨 Through this point of view, he explains the way we connect to each other and the reason why we feel so great when we are around our girlfriend, boyfriend, and also our best friends.
Why do we sometimes attract people, while we have a big challenge doing so other times? Why can we not be in the flow all the time?
🗣️🧘♀️🎯 As the interview developed into a fluent discussion, those questions above are only a brief insight into the pool of topics evolving around marketing, spirituality, and life in general. If you are ready to experience a worldview that is far from the currently taught system and values, then this podcast is the right one for you.
🙏🕵️😇 We are more than happy about feedback and hope to have shown you a view which you have not heard too much about.

❌🤬😫Nobody wants to lose, nobody wants to fail, and nobody wants to disappoint. Yet a lot of times we do exactly that. We fall behind our set goals or at least behind the expectations we had.
🤔🤨❓So, what should we do about it? Should we be upset with ourselves, trying to perform a disciplinary measure, in order to get back on track? What happens if we fail with that?
🤷♂✅🤬In my opinion, neither is the solution. It is ok to not reach your goals. If you accept your failures it gives you room to grow, and it is actually more efficient since you do not waste even more time being upset about your situation.
📈🏃🚶♂Growth doesn’t continue like an exponential curve, in my experience, it is rather like two steps forward, one step back, at some point you will plateau for a while.
❓😩❓So what can we do with those unpleasant disappointments?
🎧🎙Tune in to the podcast, as I go into my way of coping with those situations.
🍗🥩💵🏄♀️Chicken or beef, free time or work, saving or enjoying.
🤔↔️🙇♂️Our daily life seems to be structured around decisions and a lot of them are quite easy, quite obvious for us.
🕵️❌Yet sometimes we get to a point, at which we cannot really find an obvious answer, often when it comes to long term decisions.
🤔❌➡️Why are we sometimes having such a hard time choosing one direction?
⌚🧠After being in a state of uncertainty, I figured that the hardest decisions are often the ones that are most closely matched, I mean if they were not, I would be easy.
🤯🤬🔋While I was going through my own process of making a difficult choice at the time, I definitely came to one conclusion:
❌👉Not making a decision takes even more energy than making a supposedly wrong decision.
❓⤴️🥵But how can we get out of that state? Without being upset about the outcome.
🚶♂️🙇♂️I specifically go into the idea, that it doesn’t matter which choice you make, it really doesn’t.
❓🎙Why? That’s what you can hear in this podcast.
🙏🕵️😇I hope you find some inspiration on how to get out of a place you are stuck in, and if not, feel free to share your thoughts on how to solve those tricky situations.
Today's interview partner is Christy Kyriakidou from Cyprus. Her field of interest is quite broad which makes her very passionate about several topics, such as yoga, art therapy, and her online business and presence. She set herself up in that way, because her driver is freedom, especially, when it comes to work and life. Her goal is to create a retreat, based around art therapy, that allows her to work in her own way.
In our conversation, she gave a lot of inspiring advice on many topics such as:
-💪❓🗣The power of asking, in order to accelerate your own growth process
-🤔❌↔️How quitting can sometimes give you the necessary amount of space, to see new opportunities, and to create new possibilities.
-⛽🚀The strongest fuel that drives you towards extraordinary achievements: love
-⏯〰️The state of flow and why it is so important to reach this feeling as often as possible
-❓⤴️How to get back into that state
-👁🔂⚡How a slight change of your perspective gets you into a totally different state of energy
-🏔➡️👨🎤The effect your environment has on you
If you want to get your mind off your current blockades or thoughts, this is probably the right podcast for you, as we go into an approach of looking at things, which you might not have experienced before.
I hope, that you enjoy this episode. If you do so, feel free to recommend the podcast to someone, that would really benefit. Thank you.
How saying yes can create much more opportunities and positive things in your life.
🎨🖌To illustrate that statement, I go into a great experience, which I made because of saying yes, without expectations.
🕒🌅🐣I went into three days, full of positive surprises because I decided to take action and just start moving towards something. 🏁🙋While I start with my personal story, I focus on general learning, which I have made during that time.
☑️🔊And if you break it down, it sounds a lot like a Nike commercial: “Just do it”. As simple as it sounds, and as often as you have heard that saying or a variation of it, there is a reason for it.
🚗🏔🧗♂️It is relevant, go on adventures, make experiences. Because those are the things you will look back at with a smile.
🤔❌🕹I highly doubt you will look back at one of the times, where you sat at home and played video games, and remember any specifics or life-changing thoughts.
🎮🔥🎇Except for something like: “Maybe I could go outside sometime and try to experience something”, or that other time: “Holy shit, do you remember that time when your PS4 was spraying sparks”.
🗣❌🏠I am not saying, that you can’t make memories while being at home, or even while playing video games.
📅🙇♂️🏄♀️I just want to set a reminder along the lines of, when was the last time you felt alive, and how could you get back to that.
👨💻🎧🎙So if you want to get a deeper insight into those thoughts, and another push towards doing something unusual, then this podcast is the perfect piece of content for you.
We covered being in the moment, in one of our earlier Podcasts. Yet I have gotten to the critical question, which makes up the title of this podcast:
⏱⏳🤔 “Can you always be in the flow or moment”
Answering this question seems to be a rather short podcast since a proper response would be yes or no. Instead of throwing a theory about it at you, I talk about the struggles of being in the moment and a few ways to overcome them. Following this topic, this Episode goes into:
💪😇The importance of being clear and present, when helping someone else
💪🤝The power of sharing
❗⏸How important breaks of breathing and just letting all distractions go are
🔃🙇The difference your mindset makes
Those are some of the covered topics, please let us know, if you want to hear our thoughts on a different topic, or if you want to get into an interview. We are looking forward to the exchange. Thanks for tuning in. 🙏
I am honored to have my longtime friend Justin in today’s interview. Back in 2015, we got to know each other during my year abroad in Vidor, Texas, USA. In this interview, he specifically goes into his self-development, which happened after high school, along with some struggles and challenges he overcame during that time.
By educating himself more through books, like: “How To Win Friends And Influence People”, he turned a lot of believes and obstacles around and kickstarted into a completely new phase of personal- and business growth.
The main topics, we touched on in this interview are:
🤔 🤩 How to stay motivated and disciplined, to improve constantly
😀 🥰 🧍♂️How important self-love is when it comes to developing habits
🙋 ⤳ 🔄 His personal routine, which enabled him to grow
❗🧘♂️ The importance and necessity of meditation
¹ 👉 🔂 The first thing Justin started to change in his everyday life 🔌 ⏭The power of the momentum
❓🧐How reflecting on your own life helps you massively to identify and overcome your struggles
👉✍️The role of writing, in order to reflect more profoundly
№👨🏻🔬The amount of change a person is able to handle, since to much change at once will resolve in no change at all, or at least not for long
👨💻🤯How to achieve the same amount of work in a shorter time, instead of extending workdays
😇⤳🌸The great feeling of focus and flow
Every single one of the topics mentioned above is worthy of a podcast by itself. Yet Justin and I went through all of these steps during the flow of our interview, or rather, our conversation. Instead of having impersonal advice, each step is illustrated by specific experiences Justin went through. I hope that those personal insights give you, as our listener a better view, on personal- and business development, to relate to those stories.
As always, we hope to inspire you and maybe, even to broaden your perspective. If you enjoy the podcast, please let us know, but more importantly, let people close to you know, how much value you could gain from listening. Thank you very much, we are grateful for every single person, that we could impact, to be more thoughtful about themselves.
☝️ 🤯 ⌚ Are you present right now? In this specific second, or even millisecond? The way I got to know a lot of people around me is that they are coasting from one event to another without feeling each and every moment.
🕑🙏☝️Why am I putting so much emphasis on being in the moment? What does that actually mean?
🤬😡🤔 Well, often times people tend to complain about COVID, they complain about the weather or some missed results. Yet all of those events have already happened, and they are not going to change, because of a complaint. The only effect that not being present has, is losing focus, and energy. 🔋
🙂☺️☀️So why complain, instead of changing the perspective? Allow yourself to be present and thus happy! Get out of the negative spiral and change that into more positive thoughts, actions, and feelings. It all starts with a decision.
📲💻🆓 As always, feel free to check out this podcast, we hope to take your mind off your everyday struggle, off your everyday thoughts, to inspire your holistic thinking on life in general.
🧐⏯☺️With which parts of your life are you happy right now? Are you working continuously towards your goal? And most of all what role are your friends playing in this picture?
👨👩👧👧🙇🤩This episode is about the social environment, because as most of you know, the environment, especially on a social level is crucial for your well-being. Are you being enabled or disabled by your friends?
🦸♂⤳🏠Can you act the same, you do at home? Do you play a role, put on a mask, in order to be appreciated? If so why are you putting that mask on?
🤔🔄🏞How could you change this environment? How could you get support and be surrounded by people, that are alike? There is so much, you can learn, once you start meeting new people.
👨👩👧👧⌚❓The people you surround yourself with are sooner or later going to leave their mark on you, and right now is a pretty good time to be asking, if that mark is the one you want to identify with.
✈️🧍♀📚I go on to share how traveling alone can be helpful and not scary at all if you are open and willing to take courage. Once you try it, you will discover it to be one of the most powerful growth tools.
🚗😍🏎️Malte is a petrol-head, he loves cars and everything that has to do with it.
⌚🔞From an early age on, he admired his grandfather, who used to be a racing driver. That's where he picked up his taste for the car world, along with the rest of his family.
🖌️🖼️🏎️With his grandfather in mind, he could not let go, and started drawing vehicles in kindergarten and has not stopped, to this day. He drew cars everywhere. Classic victims were napkins, or other small pieces of paper, almost anything he could draw on.
📷🔎🚘In Highschool, he discovered his talent in photography, which he was able to establish in his everyday life of working with cars.
🤔📈👨💼Those three main interests: Drawing, photography, and his fascination for cars are now the backbone of his business, which he started after working for a local car dealership close to his hometown.
👀👨💻🚗His company is creating beautiful, breathtaking car content. Anything you might be interested in, when it comes to cars: Malte has got you covered, either in photos or videos. 😅👨🏫🆓Even though cars have always played a big role in Maltes everyday life. This podcast is not only about cars, but Malte also shares insights about the struggles he had, while starting his business, and shares advice, which will be helpful for anyone, who is about to start a business. He goes into the role of the gut feeling and shares, why he prefers independence over money.
ℹ️😇💭As always, we hope to inspire you with this podcast and look forward to your feedback.
🏃♂️🤯📚In this episode, I am going into the insane amount of opportunities and therefore choices you are bombarded with, as a person, as a young person. Starting with the choice of education and going on to the choice of your job. That can result in some pressure there are so many options, that it can be quite overwhelming.
👉🤔🤩Are you the one who decides which ones you are taking? 👨👩👧👧➡️🗣…..Or are you pushed towards a decision by someone else?
👨👩👧👧👥👂🧍♂️In this short podcast, I am going into the most common groups, that usually influence you, along with that in mind, I want to remind you how important it is to listen to yourself in your life decisions.
🧐🤪You might find yourself thinking: “Dah, that’s obvious”
⏲🙋♀️But take the time and question your college or job decision was it you who made it, or was it you giving into your mother's ideas, or your dad's suggestion, just to get them off your back. Be honest with yourself.
🤔🙇It is a rather simple impulse today, but I think it is important to remind myself, and probably yourself, every once in a while, to evaluate your process.
❔🚶♀🔎Which steps does it take to get closer to your why or maybe rather your purpose?
Obviously, I can’t straight-up give an answer that is suitable for all of you, yet in this episode I am explaining the way I worked myself closer towards my purpose of bringing people closer to themselves.
👦🗣👥In my opinion communication is one of the most important skills a person can poses, since probably 99,99% of goals depend on the support of others.
🛠🔁📸So, without the exchange with others it is really difficult to move your vision. I mostly try to trade knowledge, in order to grow myself, while I am providing my knowledge towards the person I am talking to.
Along the topic of communication and purpose this Podcast goes into:
-🤠🏞The role you are taking in your social environment
-🧍♀↔️🧍♂The opportunity of discovering your strength by connecting with new people
-🤯👨💻Getting inspired by growing your network
-⤳The flow
-🧐❌What is not your why
-💪👥The power of crowds and community
-🤔❓What would happen if……
-🗻📈Milestones
Never forget the process is continuous, if you would win it too early or too easy, it would be boring and unfulfilling.
🗣️👤In today’s interview, I am joined by a very inspiring friend of mine: Caleb Macauley.
🧏🏾🎭His Perspective comes from a rather different background than mine, since he is from Afrika, moved to the UK, and is now studying in the Netherlands. From Blood Diamonds and aggressions over minerals, Caleb made his way to Fontys University in the Netherlands.
👦😍👦Selflove, Healing, and the general human experience, we are having on this earth are very important topics to him, since he started questioning about life in general.
🤔🙏📈He gives an insight on loving and trusting the process, and on his tools, he is using to be consistent. He sheds light on how gratefulness has been serving him as a driver, to push forward. Even if it is just having Wifi, he reminds me, and probably most of you, how blessed we are in Europe.
👀🤯🏥💻His view really helped me to be more understanding, and reflected about my own position, which still gives me shivers sometimes. We seem to forget that all the little things we have are not “normal”, as for example medical insurance, social assistance, and much more.
🔎🗝️😧If you want to get an opportunity to humble yourself more, to reflect on what you have, and how valuable that actually is, this is the right podcast for you.
🙏👥🤗Please be, and stay thankful, listen to your body and wear this feeling of gratefulness on your outside as well, you will feel the difference.
