Our speaker for Dinner & Doctrine was Barry Parsons, Pastor of Harvest Bible Fellowship Church in Boyertown, PA. Pastor Parsons lead us to better understand the teaching and negative effect of Charismatic theology on a local church and on the lives of individual Christians. Pastor Barry grew up in a church steeped in Charismatic practices and had the privilege to be called to pastor that church and lead it out of Charismatic confusion and toward Christian faithfulness. Pastor Parsons shares the story of his church, his life, and the power of God’s Word and the gospel.
