Life can be really, REALLY complicated. One day you're praying for a new job and the next day you're complaining about it. One day you think you've figured out marriage, and then all of sudden you're a parent of screaming kids drawing and flinging dinner on the wall. Life is messy. But was it created to be this way? Is there something more God is showing us through these seasons of life?
In this episode of Lightning Rounds, the LR BOIZ dive deep into Ecclesiastes 3 & 4, where Solomon drops the mother of all truth bombs about seasons of life. We'll explore why death is part of the story (depressing, we know but HEYO JESUS), how friendship makes the rollercoaster survivable, and most importantly – how Christ takes this ancient wisdom and flips it on its head in the most beautiful way possible. Whether you're in a season of dancing or mourning, building up or tearing down, or just trying to figure out why your succulent died despite literally doing nothing to it, this episode's got you covered. Join us for this conversation!

Have you ever felt like your job description should just read "Professional Button Pusher" or "Master of Spreadsheet Cells That Nobody Reads"? Maybe you've caught yourself practicing your Oscar speech for "Best Performance in a Zoom Meeting While Actually Doing Laundry," or realized your greatest career achievement this week was not getting yelled at by the customer waiting for their coffee order. If you've ever stared into the abyss in your Chipotle apron at 3 PM on a Wednesday, questioning if under-scooping customers asking for grilled chicken is really what you were put on this earth to do, you're not alone. Even Solomon felt this way – and he was running an entire kingdom.
In this episode, Andrew & Zach dive into the first two chapters of Ecclesiastes, where "the Preacher" basically invents the mid-life crisis and takes it to a whole new level. We're tackling the big questions: Why does your workplace achievement feel empty even after you get that promotion? How come mountains get to stick around for thousands of years while your "groundbreaking" idea for management will be forgotten by Tuesday? And most importantly, how does God transform our seemingly pointless Monday-to-Friday grind into something meaningful? Join us for the convo that you didn't ask for, but probably need to hear -- part biblical wisdom, part humor therapy session, and part reminder that yes, your job matters – just maybe not in the way you think it does.

You're standing in line at your favorite coffee shop, watching a guy in a $2,000 suit order a quad-shot americano while frantically checking his stock portfolio. Sitting at a table in the background, a teenager is having an existential crisis over which filter to use for her latte photo. And suddenly, you're hit with the same thought that smacked "The Preacher" of Ecclesiastes upside the head 3,000 years ago: "What's the point of all this?" Turns out even ancients had their own quarter-life crisis, and this one wrote a whole book about it.
In this 50th episode of Lightning Rounds, Hollow, Andrew & Zach are diving into Ecclesiastes – the ancient text that reads like it was written by a philosophical combo of Mark Twain and your brutally honest depressed uncle. We'll explore why this book of the Bible feels like a 2000s emo song, and how its raw take on life, death, meaning, and joy speaks to both the coffee-chugging executive and the trend-obsessed teen in all of us. Hope you enjoy the listen!

Picture this: you’re hiking along a narrow trail, surrounded by the dense, whispering trees of the Cascade Mountains. The air is crisp, and the smell of damp earth fills your lungs as you navigate the winding path with a friend. Laughter mingles with the sound of your boots crunching on fallen leaves, but as you round a bend, the atmosphere shifts. A chill runs down your spine as you spot something out of the corner of your eye—a massive figure, partially hidden among the pines. You squint to try and focus but it’s gone in an instant. “Did you see that?” you ask your friend, but she shakes her head, oblivious. You press on, with your heart slightly racing, when suddenly you hear heavy steps pacing you along the dense trail. You turn to look again, and the air is filled with an eerie silence, as if the forest itself is holding its breath. You've heard the stories before dismissing them as folklore, but could this be it? Is this... Bigfoot?
Pack your camping supplies for this thrilling journey into the heart of God's mysterious world as the LR trio sets off to unravel the legend of Bigfoot! In this final episode of our journey, we venture into the dark woods, armed with flashlights, questionable survival skills, and Andrew's insatiable thirst for Mountain Dew.
Hike along as we explore paranormal encounters, stories from Native Americans, and the possible biblical explanation for this phenomena. What's in the woods? Could Sasquatch be something more than just a physical creature? Do YOU believe?

Picture this: a remote campsite under a blanket of stars, the crackle of the campfire filling the air with warmth and light. Laughter echoes through the trees as you and your friends share spooky stories, but suddenly, a loud branch snap slices through the night, silencing the group. You exchange nervous glances, each of you acutely aware that you’re not alone. Two heavy footsteps can be heard creeping closer to your campsite, and for a moment, everything seems to freeze. Two eyes shining form the light of the fire appear just beyond the glow of your campfire. You've always heard the stories of Sasquatch but have brushed it off as fake until now. Your heart pounds as you realize that the night is about to take a turn into the unknown.
Pack your camping supplies for this thrilling journey into the heart of God's mysterious world as the LR trio sets off to unravel the enigma of Bigfoot! In this episode, we venture into the dark woods, armed with flashlights, questionable survival skills, and Andrew's insatiable thirst for Mountain Dew.
Join us as we explore thrilling encounters, bizarre sightings, and the legendary lore that surrounds this hide-and-seek world champ. How should Christians navigate a response to this phenomena? Are there only specific Christians who are gifted with sharing the gospel? Or is it a calling for every Jesus follower? Have you ever shared the gospel and it go horribly wrong? Where hasn't Andrew been on a mission trip?
In this episode, the LR Trio welcome fall into the ears of every listener and dive in the scriptures to uncover the truth about the subject of sharing the gospel.
So grab your early 2000s gospel tracts and let's talk about EVANGELISM!
The LR boyz responds to this listener's question:
"In Matthew 28:19 it says we are commanded to preach the gospel to everyone, but in Ephesians 4:11 it says some are given the gift of evangelism in the church. Then in 2 Timothy 4:5 it says to do the work of an evangelist. So my question is this, are only some given the gift of evangelism even though all are called to preach the gospel?? Or do all of us as believers have that gift but just need to be obedient and step out in faith and do it?"

This episode is about the Christian and mental health.
I know... sounds heavy, right? But it's actually pretty funny...but also serious. We love you guys, and we pray for you all the time. Thanks for reading if you've gotten this far.
Your favorite podcast trio responds to this listener's question:
"What should our ideal mental health look like as Christians? Are we allowed to suffer? I know we shouldn’t be anxious, but it’s hard not to be and then when I am anxious it’s like self condemnation for being anxious lol. Hopefully that makes sense. To add clarification, when I’m sad do I need to force myself to be joyful because I’m a Christian, do I need to stop self-doubt because I need to be confident in Christ? Is that attainable?!"
