On today’s episode, we hear from pastor Corey Bane from Advanced Pastoral Concepts.

Pastor Bane has ministry experience in Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia, where he served as lead pastor of Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church until last year.

He now focuses his ministry efforts on Advanced Pastoral Concepts, a mentoring ministry to pastors, as well as being an adjuct professor of Minsitry Ethics and Etiquette and Pastoral Counseling at Vision Baptist College.

Pastor Bane and his wife Caryn have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law and one grandson.

I’m grateful the Lord has connected us, because we have kindred spirits to strengthen pastors and local churches. Pastor Bane and I both feel that connecting pastors with other pastors in community and in mentorship relationships can strengthen the Church in a myriad of ways.

We chat about his recent video series, which he created upon request to provide insight to pastors in the area of finances - both church and personal.

Pastor Bane’s educational and motivational videos touch on setting a Biblical foundation of stewardship, give practical instruction on personal finances, and dive into the nuts and bolts of financial administration and budgeting in a church.

He also explains how to find financial freedom from the past, for the present, and for the future.

Too many pastors discover that they aren’t fully prepared financially for the later part of life, or that they aren’t yet set up for retirement. These videos are benifical to those more experienced pastors as well as younger pastors, and can help someone get their finances in order wherever they are.

I know many pastors will benefit from watching these helpful video resources. Let’s continue to grow in wisdom and understanding around our personal and ministry financial stewardship.
