I've know Brandon for a few years now and he's someone who has inspired me a lot. Ive seen him evolve and grow. He's an entrepreneur, and he's experienced a lot in his time already, although he is still young and full of life. Sit back and enjoy this episode as we discuss fitness, motivation, accountability, self discipline and how to get the best results out of whatever process you go through in life to get where you need to be. Its just that. Its a process. Sometimes we want the result , without the process. This is so common, but we have to understand that there won't be results unless we have patience and consistency, over a long period of time. That patience and consistency comes with takin hour failures as lessons , and looking at the failure as another opportunity to gain knowledge and use that knowledge in the future, to become successful.
From backyard brawling to the cage. He's had 30 fights under this belt and he's not slowing down. How to keep moving forward through adversity. Knee injury resulting in a surgery but that still didn't slow him down. We have to set goals for ourselves and remember that theres always going to be road blocks and obstacles in the way. Do you have a plan to reach your goals even if and when the obstacles come up out of no where? will you keep moving forwards ? Or will you crack under pressure and fall apart? Adversity is guaranteed, setbacks are also guaranteed, as we take the steps toward reaching our goals in life and getting to where we want to be. How will you handle it ?
King for a Day. What is keeping you from a King or Queens mentality? What could it feel like to be thought of like a God, to yourself. Where anything feels like within your power. A mental giant impervious to mole hill anguishes. Do you really want to go your whole life and get to that final death bed knowing you left so many pursuits, unpursuted. Is it worth it playing small to yourself? If our days are numbered and our breaths are counted and if none of this human success of the world really amounts to anything, then shouldn't failure be even more so counted as less significant. Counterphobic means "Only pursuing things that you are afraid of." May you be blessed with that phobia.
Ston Lee grew up in Cambodia, and came to the Unites States. Since coming here he has been creating the life that he wants for himself. He's a successful business man and owner of SSS Black Belt club which is a Martial arts training studio. His business has taken off and he now has three locations open. He is someone who has overcome major adversity to get to where he is now. We discuss the fact that without struggle there is no progress , and there can't be any success in life without failure.
One of the things that he focuses on in his teaching is self discipline. He discusses how he applies this in his teachings and helps everyone who has joined his classes. Without self discipline you have nothing. Self discipline has to be a major part of your life if you want to succeed in anything.

I've been a coach and a personal trainer for over 15 years, and I've managed to drop body fat down to single digits form diet, exercise and self discipline. I have helped so many people reach their fitness goals and I've helped people lose well over 80 plus pounds, but I have never personally lost more than 15 pounds. In this special episode we get to hear it from Kathleen Octoman and how she managed to lose 50 pounds and how she has maintained her long term weight loss. We get to discuss the ups and downs of weight loss, and what it requires not just physically but also mentally as well. Weight loss and fat loss is not just a physical thing but its also a mental thing too. Your mental health and your mindset plays a big part in this process, so thats part of what will be discussed in this episode.
Reaching your fitness goals will always be a challenge regardless of what the goal is. It will always require dedication and hard work. Unfortunately there is no short cuts and there is no tricks. It will always require a strong will, dedication and consistency. Once we realize this and we are willing to make some sacrifices and lifestyle changes to make our life better, then we will start taking the small steps towards our fitness goals, which will in turn lead to one BIG lifestyle transformation. As we go along this journey to better ourselves, we have to remember that our levels of motivation will change form time to time. Sometimes we feel highly motivated and sometimes less. We have to keep inching forwards through the tougher time and the times of low motivation. Thats where self discipline comes into play.

How to overcome low levels of motivation. Sometimes you feel motivated to workout, while at other times your motivation levels can become low. How to we overcome the challenging times like that? Theres certain things you can do , ways to overcome that as we discuss it in this episode.
Does dry scooping your pre-workout REALLY work? Is it REALLY effective ? Are there any real benefits to ingesting pre-workout with out liquid or is it just nonsense? Some times when it comes to health and fitness we learn certain things and we do it because someone told us , and it's not backed by science or theres no real reason or understanding behind it. Certain workouts, supplements or exercises, that really don't make too much sense if you break it down and do some research.
How long does it take to develop good habits that are going to help you get to your fitness goals. The good habits like meal prepping, doing cardio, and strength training. Its all a process and we have to be patient and consistent when it comes to fitness. Sometimes when we don't see results right away or if we fail in the beginning, we get discouraged and tend to give up or quit. No matter how many times we reach failure, we need to use the failure as a lesson and use that lesson to better ourselves.
Bad form on exercises in order to lift more weight? Don't let yourself become a victim of this. Focus on your form, and your technique before adding more weight and you'll save yourself a lot of pain and suffering in the long run.
When it comes to fitness, you have to adapt the right mindset if you want to reach your goals. The right mindset it to remember that short term pain and discomfort will give you long term pleasure and satisfaction vs. short term, instant gratification and short term pleasure and satisfaction like indulging in one too many cheat meals that are contrary to your fitness goals, which in the long run will lead to destroying your physique and health complications down the road, and a painful life to live.

What does a dropset do? It increases the intensity and volume for a targeted muscle group. This will force extra blood into the muscle. With your normal set you would reach 10 or 12 reps or however many it would take you to get to failure, then stop and rest. When you incorporate dropsets you are taking the muscle to failure and then past it, with more reps at a lighter weight. By doing that, you increase time under tension. More time under tension, with good recovery, good supplements, and good nutrition, will lead to more muscle growth and size.
By incorporating dropsets into your workout routine it will get you out of the training plateau or the stagnant spot that you're in. If you want to transform and you really want your body to change then you can incorporate these into your workout routine or fitness plan.
