No Vacation From God

Father Mariusz Sztuk, another of the original members of the Riders, shares his impressions about how, when on a vacation our faith can be manifest in ways that may be outside of our normal. The riders have always been grateful to have a priest with them on their trips to be able to offer the sacraments to them. While traveling, besides their daily Mass, the men try to demonstrate their faith in public to others around them to hopefully engage with them. Father talks about how even just making the sign of the cross and praying grace at meal times in restaurants can be a witness to faith and may open doors for others who are searching.

Join Sean in the Pub as he welcomes Father Troy Nguyen, whose journey to the priesthood was a true sojourn as a soul searching for the longing of his heart. Father Troy was born and raised in Calgary, and attended Minor Seminary in high school, which led directly into seminary in preparation for the priesthood. Not sure of his vocation, Father left the seminary for a time, working in various fields of employment, but felt unfulfilled. When he attended one of the God Squad conferences a few years ago, he credits being there with helping him discern a return to the seminary and his true vocation as a priest.

Kelly is also the founder of WINE (Women In the New Evangelization). Women are encouraged to complement each other in their own gifts, then expand to encouraging others including, and especially, men in the church.

Kelly shares how one particular invitation to join a bible study changed her life. She encourages us to never underestimate what one invitation can do in the lives of others. Kelly also works with Jeff in delivering lectures based on The Activated Disciple, a study program that helps lay the foundation for being bold in the faith and bringing it to the world.
