Why are we so attached to our past?

Why is it so hard to let go of the experiences we had and start fresh?

As humans, we are subject to relive the past until we can powerfully move beyond it.

The next step is to become who “we” wish ourselves to be.

My three guests are coming with some great stories.

Please join us this Tuesday night at 7:00 PM PST

Most people I know aren't Olympic athletes or superstar actors.

Most people I know live each day being the best version of themselves.

They deal with life in inspiring ways, mostly in silence without fanfares or gold medals.

These are the TRUE HEROS of the world. Getting up every day in the face of challenges and disagreement.

The virtues they possess are through the years of ups and downs.

Scars and bruises form the foundations of their lives.

Each day they start fresh.

Yesterday is over, and tomorrow may never come, but they still play FULL OUT!

I am inspired by the Human Spirit that Champion in us all.

In this episode are going to Dig Deep into the stories of three champions.

When I was in 5th grade, I decided to be funny.  We were in the schoolyard, playing football. A couple of the girls liked my best friend, Chester. I wanted girls to like me too. After we scored a touchdown, Chester said something funny, and everyone laughed. He took off running, and everyone followed him.  What I saw and what I made that mean was, “If I’m funny, everyone will like me.” After that, I put so much effort into being funny. And by the time I was in 7th grade, I had it down. In 9th grade and in 12th as a senior, I was voted Class Clown.

The cost of this was I had spent so much energy being funny. I neglected deep learning. Because I was always looking for people to be funny too. Making jokes occupied my mind. So when I went to school, I would focus my energy on making people laugh and not concentrate on studying.

I’m very fascinated and curious about how we develop our personalities and social intelligence. Then how we mold this to get us what we want out of life. In the Curiosity Theory, we call this Our Winning Formula.

Please join my three guests and me as we Deep Dive into The Winning Formula.

Finding something to live for or having a purpose is not always the most natural thing. As people, we often find ourselves living out old habits. We desire to change things but often find that were just adult versions of our childish ways. We were all born amazing little children, and then we got hit by life. Our friends, families, and society gave us ideas, some we did not believe, and other ideas we took on. As we got older, these beliefs became part of our way of being.   So many of us search but fall short of real change.

So how do you change? I am not talking about You, 2.0!

That is just a more improved version of an old "You."

What people are looking for is Transformation – Recreating oneself from scratch - coming from nothing with maybe just a little bit of hope.

On this episode of The Curiosity Theory HANGOUT we are going to Curiously-Investigate Finding Something To Live For – A Journey Beyond Suicide

There are conversations that we talk about in quiet voices—hiding in corners, whispering. Suicide is one of those topics.

Shh, don't talk too loud; someone might hear us.

Well, you know me, I talk out loud!

In this episode, I'm going LIVE with two other voices that need to be heard.

We will talk loud and clear in a quest to find a reason to breathe, for those searching for a way out of Burn-Out, Loss, Fear, and Sadness.

We plan to go deep with love and understanding and as always be curious.
