This message is taken from an important service at Glasgow Elim called Ethos 2024.
During this teaching we explore the journey that we have been on as a church as well as the ethos and values that God has given us as our DNA.
We often find ourselves living in "the place between"- that space where one season is dialling out and the next is beginning to dial in.

It's time to rip up the rule book and pursue freedom.

Comfort is the gateway to joy. We have to embrace the comfort of God before we can fully transition into joy.

God is doing a new thing in an old way.
A new year requires a new commitment to explore the ancient paths and connect with all that is genuinely and authentically God.
Light-minded: As we journey through life all of our thinking is impacted by our upbringing, situations, circumstances, family and friends etc. Our way of thinking impacts our lives significantly. Today we are looking at exposing the lies that we believe to be true in our minds that stop us from living the life God wants us to live. We take what we hide in the shadows and darkness and bring them into the light to finally expose them for what they are. In doing so with the help of the Holy Spirit and the word of God our lives and thinking we be transformed by the renewing of our mind to be more like Jesus.
This message unpacks the biblical examples and characteristics of a Spirit of Control, looking at Revelation 2, 1 Kings 16-19, Mark 6 and Acts 16.
