Strong Stuff

5 Episodes

Strong Stuff aims to deliver off-the-beaten-track perspectives which are undaunted by common biases and assumptions, of whatever stripe. For all of us, it is all too easy to surrender to group think and tribalism.

Yet that way turmoil lies. Can we learn to listen? To understand why others feel and think as they do? To potentially embrace facts and ideas that might unsettle us?

Three centuries after the industrial revolution launched us on a path of almost unimaginable technological progress - whose pace only continues to accelerate - our planet, not just humanity, is at a crossroads. Environmental, climatic, social, economic, geopolitical, and even spiritual, challenges abound.

To embrace those challenges, it is imperative we start to understand each other better. To be able to question our assumptions. And if needs be, to have the courage to take the roads less traveled.
