Hi! My name is Mel and I am passionate about God's Word, one of my favorite things to do is teach others and have real conversations about it. My prayer is this would be a place where you are able to receive His Word, and his overwhelming presence over your life. Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Have we lost the sight of why we serve God? Or is He the ultimate prize? Do we serve him to exalt ourselves, or to lift high the name of Jesus? In this episode, we uncover Jesus's nature as Paul unravels it in Philippians 2 & 4. Enjoy!
Are we willing to go all-in for God? Or just halfway? As we go through the story of Abraham and Isaac, God calls him to sacrifice His only son as a test of true sacrifice and faithfulness. The same way, are we willing to leave all we've ever known behind, for Jesus? Or are we living a life of conformity?
Coming out of the "first love" stage in our walk with God is painful, and rekindling that fire in our hearts towards Jesus can seem out of reach. However, when we look at God's Word we witness a God who draws near. If you feel lost and hopeless in your walk with God, Jesus is waiting for you with open arms. My prayer is this Episode would help you today to know how vast and powerful God's love for you is.
As believers it can be incredibly hard when God calls us to do something for His Kingdom. Thoughts of fear, anxiety and insecurity creep up and it can become easy to throw in the towel. Tonight, I discuss the story of a prophet who didn't see the reason WHY God had called him to do what he asked. I pray this episode may be of blessing to your life! Marriage is a design from God, the base of the family and the foundation of a covenant between them and God. God desires to give you a new perspective, that marriage between a man and a woman to become one flesh is beautiful, so that you can patiently wait on Him and create a dependent relationship with Jesus before receiving your future spouse!

We can all be a Samson at some point. Halfway in and halfway out. But Jesus can still use you, he can redeem you and turn your life around. before you listen, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to highlight the parts of you that need to be worked on. And listen carefully, this is a message of encouragement from God to you. :)
This is a wake up call, a call to action letting you know that you can come as you are to Jesus. There is not a single thing, problem, situation that he can't turn around and use it for good. God has your back, I encourage you to take a listen and ask God to speak to you. :)
When God promises us something, the waiting season can be extremely difficult. But when we rely on Jesus, and wait on Him, he will always exceed our expectations. I am here to encourage you, God will do what He promised, and that you can be content in your waiting season.
2 Corinthians 1:20 “For ALL the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen to the glory of God through us.” 💜
When we follow the Lord's statutes and His word, it's when we rejoice being in discipline. Although it can be tough to obey, remember "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:12. REJOICE in obeying Him, he sees that and will reward you.
When we remember what the Lord has done for us, it brings us to a place of gratitude. Because when we were lost, now we are found in Him. We have a new life that we get to share with our Savior. I want to encourage you, when your heart is heavy, what the Lord has done. Because for His Children he says this : “Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think” — Ephesians 3:20."
As Christians, it's very important that we learn to place boundaries and guard our heart. With the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, we are able to walk alongside his guidance. So, how do you guard your heart?
