Greg started playing rugby at the age of seven. He quickly joined several club teams and excelled quickly before attending Crescent College where he also played. He joined the Munster academy in 2013 and started his career as a wing and fullback.

Prior to appearing on, and winning, the fifth season of Love Island, Greg was studying for a law degree and completed his final exams after coming out of the villa.

Last year, Greg represented Ireland at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games capping off an incredible international career having previously made Ireland squads for Hong Kong Sevens and Europe Sevens Grand Prix Series. In 2019, Greg guided the team to win the

Hong Kong Sevens tournament which resulted in the team qualifying for the World Rugby Sevens Series.

More recently, Greg has taken on several presenting roles on Irish television, and has launched his own fitness app called Bettr with Greg.

In this episode, we talk about the key traits to being happy. Everyone’s path to happiness and our actions, thoughts, decisions, and choices have a great impact on your level of happiness. We discuss how to motivate ourselves, what is success and how to achieve it and how to deal with and navigate failure.
