The Powerhouse Moms Podcast is for ambitious women who want to be BOTH - a powerful, ambitious impact driven, world-changing leader AND present and loving mama at home. We believe that by owning your ambition and pursuing your dreams, you're giving your children permission to do the same and showing them what's possible. We are here to help you change your world, and the world around you, because we know that if the dream is on your heart, it's there for a reason. We are here to help make your dreams a reality, together.
This week I'm NOT talking about making the last two weeks of the year count (like everybody else), but rather how you can take these last two weeks of the year and make them about YOU. With the craziness of the holidays, sick season and the pressure to make it all "count" before the new year, it's easy to make hustle and productivity your main intention. This year though, I challenge you to decide how you want to feel, shift your mindset and do what YOU need to close out this year. Take some notes mama because I'm walking you through the exact questions you need to ask yourself to feel GOOD these last two weeks!
Share what you come up with over in my DMs on IG!
This week I am talking all things HOLIDAYS. There has been so much on social media about the mental load of motherhood around the holidays and I refuse to subscribe to that narrative. If you're ready to take this holiday season in a new direction and make it one that's fun, simple, and stress free (well at least less stressful!) you're going to want to take notes mama!
And I want to hear your thoughts! Do you love the holidays? Hate them? What are your fave and least fave things about them? DM me and let's chat on Instagram!
In this week's episode I talk about TRUST. Trust in yourself, the timing of your life and your purpose. Because sometimes, the hardest thing is to trust yourself when the path doesn't make sense. I'm sharing a big move I'm making and I hope that it inspires you to take a look at your life, career and actions to see if there's anything YOU need to let go of to make space for more magic.

In this episode, I hope that by sharing what I've been navigating, you don't feel so alone if you are going THROUGH it too. I know I'm not the only one going through a hard season or going through a funk. It can be so easy to feel like you're doing something wrong, or not understand WHY life isn't how you want it to look - but what I can promise you is that one day we WILL understand. If you're having a hard time, I want to support you so make sure to come say hi on Instagram and I can give you a virtual hug!

I’m actually LOLing as I write the show notes because after I recorded this podcast all about resetting our nervous system because the lawdddd the universe decided to test me to see if I would really do it after yet another toddler tantrum. BUT let me tell you - this stuff truly works. It is so easy to become overstimulated as an ambitious woman raising children - whether it’s due to your children or your work or all of the above, resetting your nervous system is key in grounding yourself and finding some peace and calm again. In this episode I give you multiple ways to reset your nervous system when you’re feeling overstimulated so you can feel GOOD. Take out something to write with and take some notes so you can come back to these practices again and again!

I’m never going to teach a lesson from a place of “I have it all figured out”, and today’s episode is no different. Today on The Powerhouse Moms Podcast, we are talking about control. How to let go of it, why we need to let go of it, and what I am actively moving through personally that is reminding me of the importance of letting go. As high achievers, ambitious women, mothers who are working to change the world, control feels GOOD. But what if letting go of the control was actually the thing that got you the life and career you’ve been creating this whole time?

In today’s episode of The Brightly Balanced Nurse Podcast, we’re diving deeper into how to find your way back to joy and to who you are outside of being a nurse.
When you're a nurse, you can easily start to be consumed by your work or other people’s needs. So, you ultimately end up losing who you are outside of who you care for. But I’m here to remind you that you are so much more than a nurse, and that your value does not come from who you care for, or how well you care for them.
To help you feel good on your days off, in this episode I’m sharing with you a tool that will help you fill your days with joy, and to find (or even rediscover) things that make you happy outside of work. Dig in with me and learn how to reclaim your joy outside of nursing!

In today’s episode of The Brightly Balanced Nurse Podcast, I’m getting vulnerable and honest with you. I have been playing small. I’ve been afraid of stepping into my true purpose and being who I know I am meant to be.
So, if you are the type of person who isn’t really living in your purpose, if you feel like you're playing it safe because you're scared, or you don't want to make other people feel uncomfortable, or you don't want to be told that you're too much, this episode is for you.
I want you to know that you aren’t alone and also, invite you to a different discussion. What if we all decided that we aren't going to play small anymore? What if we stop sacrificing, shrinking, playing small, and start stepping into our power?
What if we step into who we were meant to be, and go change the freaking world?
Topics:
“I thought before maybe it was a fear of failure, but I don't fail at things. And when things don't go my way I always learn from them. It's a fear of success. It's a fear of playing full out, being big, and being who I'm meant to be.”

In today’s episode of The Brightly Balanced Nurse Podcast, we’re talking about leadership. We're talking about debunking some myths about what makes a great and impactful nurse leader. And it starts with just the fact that things have to change in our profession. Because the way that we've been doing things just isn't working anymore. We're seeing the highest rates of burnout, depression, anxiety, and PTSD among nurses that we've ever seen. Right?
But what if we could change that? What if we could change the way we did things in nursing and in the healthcare system?
Join me in this conversation.
