Creating Sites of Belonging is a podcast produced to tell the stories of Summit Public School educators, young people, caregivers, and community members. In this space we explore wellness, transformative justice, LGBTQUI realities, Black and indigenous experiences, and current events that challenge or promote a sense of belonging.

Creating Sites of Belonging is a podcast to support and share the oral traditions of the global majority. This episode starts with the interviewing of Kristina Brawley. We learn how Kristina co-pioneered a founding Charter School in North Tulsa, as part of an initiative to rebuild Black Wall Street, while also learning practices of self love. Kristina takes us on a journey of what it means for a Black women/ femme to choose herself in a space and time that encourages otherwise. Additionally, we end the episode with an interview with Tahlia Reyes, a young person who is here to teach us about self love, and self care.
