How to make of most of your rainy season
Walk in the rain
Play a sport like volleyball or football; hey, hopscotch and kho kho if you are an adventurer
Cycle with friends or go solo (possibly slow too, wink wink)
Learn how to Pakoda (cook)
Surprise family by making hot beverages (learn how to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate it is easy)
Time to indulge into some Green Tea varieties because usually water consumption is often lower in monsoon (add some clove or something if you are not afraid of experimenting, please don't put sugar in your green tea)
Go for a run, it isn't crazy; it is absolutely mindblowing. I love it!
Read (don't let the whole monsoon pass through by only reading, get on with some outdoor activities)
Jump in the puddles of water
Observe trees and take it all in, what Mother Nature's blessing us with
Write a song about those who you miss; could be for a friend, from your past relationships, present colleagues or for even your dogs and cats if you like. Tune in your creativity in monsoon
Sing songs for self or for others
Play music if you have any instruments
Write a short story

Call friends. Ask about their plans
Order hot and Spicy food or beverages from Zomato or Swiggy
Feed strays
(Water plants, lol)
Learn how to stretch with friends or pets, whichever way you prefer
Wave at a small kids walking from your windows, kids have this natural smile and innocent reactions which is often a stressbuster
Make paper boats and share them
Call your grandparents
Check on your friends
Help elderly people with meds
Volunteer for helpline or in an NGO
Make chai for building security or your house help
Surprise family by making pasta or something as simple as a sandwich
Indulge in gardening
Join a bookclub or create one
Conduct virtual dance party
Play Housie with building friends
Organise Carrom Tournament
Challenge someone to beat you in Chess
Scrabble is exciting, family bond
Watch classic animated shows
Enroll in Crocheting
Learn new regional languages, which your friends or colleagues are speaking to surprise them. It is said, with our mother tongues, we touch the hearts of those who understand and value hearty conversation.
