G'day, my names Gatesy and I enjoy learning the Bible in depth so that I get a better picture and understanding of who God is. The more we study, the more revelation we get, so lets look through the Bible together and draw closer to Him as the body of Christ. To look at each scripture through the lens of the entire Bible not the Bible through the lens of a single verse. The more we focus on Him and His Word the closer we grow in relationship to Him and our understanding increases. I hope you are as excited as I am to receive revelation from God. Lets do it!
Join me as we look into the second half of Genesis 9 looking at the 3 sons and the blessing and curses that are received and given out.
Tonight we looked at the covenant God made with Man, the animals, birds, fish, and the earth. The significance of the covenant and its two halves. As well as mans responsibility.
Talking about new ways to promote the podcast and getting more people to listen in. Also to try and send in audio messages with questions and greetings.
Also looking at the end of chapter 8 talking about the age of accountability, at what point are you responsible for your actions?
Join me as we look through the second half of chapter 8 looking at the sacrifice that Noah made and how God enjoyed the aroma from the burnt sacrifice.
Dive in with me as we look to the resting of the ark and the coming out of Noah's family and just the significance of these numbers that are written for a reason.
Looking at where the different generations line up in genesis and the gifts that different people passed down. Also exploring more in depth what these nephilim were and what changed after they were on the earth.
Further exploring chapter 6 and seeing the reaction of a Holy God with an unholy people and His righteous judgement passed onto them and this incredible covenant He made with noah and the significance in the picture of what a covenant is.
Still going with Genesis 3 (i couldn't stop, 30 mins is too short when Gods showing me stuff) But now we see Gods heart of redemption for His creation in the act of the first death. Also mans effort to survive till the day he dies as a consequence for sin.
I was on a roll this morning and God was making things clearer to me so I just kept on going with what God was showing me in seeing Gods heart for us, then the consequences of sin and the things that God showed before and after sin took place.
Mulling over the scriptures more after not putting pressure on myself, I was able to breakdown things better and started to see God's Heart for His creation.
reading from the Tanakh we go through the first 2 chapters and try to delve into it in more detail. we are doing this together as I am only reading it for the first time with you guys (im not coming into the podcast with lots of prepared notes) as the discovery journey has more impact when you see it for the first time.
