Reverse Farmgirl is a twice-a-month podcast that discusses sex and spirituality. “Reverse Farmgirl” is Kate Pierson, an aspiring theologian, writer, mom, and funny girl, originally from rural Nebraska. Topics include historical and contemporary religious, cultural, and social values, with an emphasis on individual experience as just as—or more—valuable and holy than traditional “authority.” The podcast is about female sexuality and spiritual wholeness. She talks a bit about growing up in rural Nebraska, in a traditional Protestant environment, and how she didn’t know how to live “in relationship” with her fantastic breasts. For years, she didn’t even know she had them! Kate also talks about other titles she considered for this podcast, her respect for Christianity and her awareness, too, of its limitations.
